Intro so all right let's talk about talk about your offense I know last year was not the type of season you guys wanted to have so how do you bounce back this year yeah I think it's just all about um hard work being determined buying in um I also think you know learning an offense the first year there's always going to be uh bumps and bruises in it there's there's just a learn you have to learn so much um there's so many small nuances that you have to get down before your offense can really take that that next step and that next that to take that next step to the next level um I think this offseason um we've worked so hard whether that be at practice um on and off the field bonding with each other um putting in extra work with the QB the offensive line group getting together on the field Saturday mornings and doing their whole thing just conforming together um I think just all those things combined have really helped us and you know I think we're we're taking that next step um you know fall Camp is right around the corner then the season and I'm excited to see what we can do and how we can put it all together uh Health you missed some games I believe you played eight games last year due to injury how are you feeling healthwise I feel great this is the healthiest I felt really since the end of my freshman year I mean I I had a little problem um with my leg but you know that's completely out the window that's in the past I've not looked back since and um just God willing I stay healthy and all praise to God that he he he B me he has blessed me with health for my last year and I'm excited to see what we can go do on the field so many changes to this Big 12 Changes conference again I mean four new teams last year now four teams in two leave what do you make of all the changes and what the big 12 looks like now yep uh definitely a lot of uncertainty but we've added some great teams I think it's going be a whole lot of fun going to all these different venues and them coming down to see us and see what it's like down in Texas and for us going up for example to go up to to Utah um you know so I think it's be really cool for just the the how the teams usually in conferences the teams are all it's a region the teams are all usually pretty close where now I mean like I said you have teams W West Coast you have teams down south you have teams you know um just all over the place so I think it's going be super awesome and I can't wait for it yeah you got the conference goes Receivers from Orlando and West Virginia all the way way out to the state whole country pretty crazy right yes sir so when you when you look let's talk about the position you play wide receiver let's talk about the receivers tell me about the group what's what are expectations for you guys this year I think they're I don't know if we could put expectations on this group I mean we have so many guys that can make plays at any given moment um we have a whole lot of depth in that group um you know I think the sky is the limit you know I think we can take this however far we want to take it I think we've all been bought in as well um there's no animosity between the group everybody just wants to get each other better um work hard push each other during workouts uh like I was saying earlier just all the extra work we've been putting in know just we're all pushing each other and we've all seen you know great expanses on how better the group has gotten since Spring ball um yeah it's going to be like I said can't wait we have awesome QB Josh ho who's going to be slinging the rock around so it's going to be a lot of fun does does it help me kind of Quarterback I know going in there was a lot of people talking about it the quarterback position being somewhat unsettled but certainly Josh that that's going to looks like that's going to be the guy how how much does that help for everybody to kind of know where what the offense is going to look like and who's going to the Personnel wise how much does that help just to kind of know yeah um no like I like I was saying we we have three really really solid quarterbacks going all the way from the young cat hos Haney um the Ken seals the transfer from Vanderbilt um to Josh they're the same way as this wide receiver group they've all pushed each other no animosity between the group they all just I and I think what's been a big difference from last year to this year is the one mind the one goal in mind is winning we just want to win games we're not going to care you know if saon Williams has 200 yards and we I have 10 or something like that or you know whatever it may be the running backs go out and have 500 yards and the receivers have have 50 as a unit as long as we get that dub um you know everybody's going to be super happy we're going to you know we're going to party as one BYU and TCU have a have a BYU pretty decent history um you guys the two teams do not play each other this year so BYU and TCU do not match up but you did match up last year in Fort Worth and that did not turn out well for BYU what do you remember from that game um so that was actually the game um I had hurt my ankle the game before I was State and that was the game following yep so my ankle was a little hurt so I remember that for sure the ankle was throbbing yeah um but no I just remember ho that was one of hoov's game first games coming out and he did a fantastic job he was throwing it all over the field all over the place yeah no he's a beast like I said um but yeah I really that's what I take away from that game who was coming out game he really bowled out and did a great job that game and helped us get that DB so I know Expectations preseason expectations are what they are um you guys come in pick 10th what's it going to take for you guys to exceed outside expectations or or does that even matter to you um it it does not matter for our team um we know after the season last year we're going to be flying a little bit under the radar but we like that you know we like being the hunters you know we like going out there um and just being able to show that all the stuff we've done this offseason season is going to pay out you know we're going to be super confident we have a standard that we're going to play up to every game um and I just can't wait for to see how the season goes all
