it's iPhone H in and I will be covering everything once the iPhone 16 comes out but today I want to talk about the new airpods because Apple introduced quite a few models and it made everything confusing so if you go to Apple's s right now and compare the base model airpods 4 to the airpods Pro 2 it might seem like they're basically the same thing to some extent that is true but what you'll also see is that the new base model starts at 129 and there's also a new model at 179 which is basically the same base model but now it has active noise cam ination the only catch though is that the active noise canulation isn't as good as an airpods Pro 2 it's actually two times worse but since they're running the same algorithm it only has to do with a rubber piece which the base model airpods don't have I have been using my airpods Pro ones ever since they came out and on launch the active noise canellation wasn't seemly good but then Apple lost a patent and then they had to change the algorithm so active noise canellation on the airpads pro ones has been kind of barely useful ever since so if that is anything to go by I'm guessing that thec on the base model airpods 4 is kind of on the same level as the airpods pro ones with active noise cancellation and as I already said it's barely any useful so I don't really see a point in getting the base model airpods 4 with active noise cancellation because I'm guessing that the active noise cancellation won't be any good at that price point it's better to just keep your money and save a bit more and get the airpods pro twos they're going to be much better and also they have an extra hour of battery life so once the battery degrades which unfortunately is inevitable the airpods Pro 2 are also going to bring much more value to you at 129 though the base model airpods without active noise cancellation seems like a steal see if you really wanted to buy some airpods but you didn't really want to waste money or you just wanted to try them out the base model airpods 4 seems like a very good deal it's just that the airpods 4 with active noise cancellation they're kind of in the middle but I don't think they're any good and frankly I think the price is too high for base model airpod with just active noise cancellation if you were thinking about buying some older airpods at a discount I would advise against that because the price of new base model airpods 4 is low anyway and they're also going to be better than airpods 3 as for airpods Pro 1 you're probably not going to find any new or if you find the new they're not going to be at a reasonable price so there's really only two options which is the base model for $19 and the airpods Pro 2 is for $249 so depending on how much you want to spend I'd recommend you get the airpass Pro 2 they're going to much better than the basee model but if you've never had airpods or you just want to try some new airpods kind of get your feet wet then I think that the base model airpods at 129 is a very great deal I hope I could help you finding the best model for you if that's the case please like this video consider subscribing to this channel as I will be pre-ordering the iPhone 16 Pro and doing all kinds of reviews on it so if that's something that you're interested in I'd be glad if you subscribed with that said thanks for watching and I'll catch you in the next one
