some highflying action at the CNE this weekend it is of course the annual Canadian International Air Show our David zura has a preview that may let your spirit fly modern military jets vintage warbirds and breathtaking aerobatics this Labor Day weekend the skies above Lake Ontario in Toronto will become the stage for the 75th Canadian International Air Show the longest running air show of its kind in North America over the next few days 1 million Spectators are anticipated to witness series of thrilling aerial displays featuring The Royal Air Force's red arrows the US F-22 Raptor and of course Canada snowbirds although the show takes place exclusively over the water Billy Bishop and Pearson International Airport where we're at today are both playing host for the aircraft and show operations we're also being reminded to expect some flight over the city as well what uh what what are you here to see oh the F22 Raptor and and the cf18 what airplane am I excited to see the F-18 what kind of airplane is it it's a water one a water one I'm pretty novice in all of this kind of stuff but I love watching them fly we've been to a bunch of air shows talk to some pilots and it's just fun with the kids now if you're planning to go to the air show don't forget those Essentials like sunscreen earplugs and water and also heads up the event is cashless requiring credit or debit card the Canadian International Air show starts Saturday and runs through the weekend until until Monday you can expect birds in the sky daily between noon until about 3:40 in the afternoon at Pearson International David zura City news
