WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 PREVIEW | Will Randy Orton make it 15 Times World Champ?

2024 as always I am Steve I'm here joined by the good brother uh Chase Oliver Chase what's going on brother how you how you doing man nothing much Steve I'm I'm doing well that's awesome brother awesome awesome um yeah man Bastion Berlin goes live this Saturday from The Uber arena in Berlin Germany man what's your overall thoughts on the show your excitement's at heading into Saturday um like middle of the road excitement I'm not really feeling this show I think it's one of Triple H's worst uh hyped cards granted he only had like three weeks to really build this card but I don't know I think the matches should be solid enough but a lot of the storylines I'm not feeling to be honest I I think for a lot of people it's the same uh the same feeling right um this is just one of those things where it's like yeah you're going to another country you are for them it's this is a big deal for them right oh my God coming to our country but for us in the states watching it it just feels like one big house show that just happens to be on peacock on a Saturday the good thing about is hey by you know it's it's going to be at 1 pm here I believe the year time is 10 10: a.m. I'm sorry 1 1 p.m 10 time so by the time it's done we got the whole day to do whatever you want to do uh that's probably one of the pluses about all this stuff but let us know as well in the chat where's where's to give Kevin no in this match but Kevin owah doesn't want the mat he doesn't feel like he deserves it right but for a lot of people it's like yeah man you know you're getting this opportunity go for it make the best out of it right but there also reports that Co that my bad Kevin owens's contract is running low now right and the question here is also well Kevin Owens turn because they acknowledge in the past I think it was the eight that under that Kevin ens turns on all his friends right Sami Zayn he felt bad because he turned on Kofi Kingston red per Kevin Owens John Cena Jericho and all that stuff do you think coming out of all this stuff do you think Kevin Owens will turn on Cody rhods when it's all said and done yeah sadly he will but he it'll just be what most Cody pews he fights the dude because he respects them and then afterwards he fights them when he is mad at them uh Triple H was was bold he would have Kevin Owens win the WWE Championship here but you know we're in the era now where certain certain people need to hold the title for a long period of time and stuff I know everyone be like well Kevin Owens doesn't deserve it it's like look if you're going to be mad and upset that you if if you're going to be attacking the dude anyways after you lose the match you might as well just attack him to try to win the title and stuff I would actually like if there was a creative finish here where Kevin Owens is so frustrated during the match and so Cody pinning him Queen Kevin Owens just kicks him in the nuts gets dced and then beats the [ __ ] out of Cody because then it could just show the frustration going not afterwards Cody wins and then Kevin beats him up afterwards get creative with it just just a little bit like it's just it's just a little lazy but yeah I do expect the Kevin Owens heel turn I I do think Kevin's staying with WWE I don't see I don't see why he would go anywhere else at this time I feel he's a maid man um at that company he kind of gets his own schedule he kind of gets what he wants he may evented two times WrestleMania I don't know what Kevin Owens what drives Kevin Owens but for him I feel like you know he's pretty good and I I just think he's doing what Drew was doing you know just wait Drew Drew didn't sign Drew Drew literally fought for the world title at Mania won the world title yeah for like two seconds but and they were building up this huge program with CM Punk and they still didn't know this dude was going to resign so you know with Kevin Owens I think it's the same thing I think he's kind of waiting and seeing hey how much where's the market at closer to my contract you know TKO is going to be by the time his contract runs out it's near Mania season TKO is gonna want to keep him during that time so I I I I think it's smart for Kevin Owens just to wait he he's it's just contract negotiations like I don't think he would up and leave WWE for aew at this moment of time because I I don't know I feel like the offers are the same and for Kevin Owens he's very big on being a part of the business afterwards and he's talked about how he's been doing stuff behind the scenes at WWE if he's already doing stuff behind the scenes it's kind of like just stay there like why Why Try to restart everything at aw and then you you know how it gets Sometimes some people they can they can love the structure of all elite wrestling some people may not Kevin Owens he's been in this WWE structure for like the last few years it could probably start frustrating him you know this whole aew structure which is like where it seems like it's just the WWA West oh for sure for sure I think another way too you said creative right where you can do this whole scenario where Kevin ens has Cody beat right but the referee is down or some [ __ ] going on and then Cody beats him right because of course he will is Cody rhod right of course everyone faces the crossroads in his own over and then they go to embrace then Kevin snaps yeah or snap during the snap during the match you know like Snap like because you can't beat this guy like you you hit him with the Popa Power Bomb you hit him with the stunner he keeps kicking the [ __ ] out and stuff and then when you finally think you have him Cody kicks out and then you're just so frustrated you just say [ __ ] this and then you just beat the [ __ ] out of him like I think that that works just as well instead of like because like then Kevin takes a loss like why you know getting pinned why do I want to see you fight again you know and not for nothing I mean you just say you don't want see fight again I was gonna say potentially yeah turns he and then you get another match out of it and then that's it but Tom will tell but I do have Cody Rose winning this 100% I have Cody Rose winning this yeah he's winning um let's move on here to the next match here uh we do have for the women's tag team titles we have uh the Unholy Union of Alba and Isa Don versus the team of Jade cargale and Bianca Bel the former women's Tag Team Champions themselves perb online.ag uh this this is what they have it as Bianca beler and Jade cargo at a minus 160 uh and Alba fire and Ison the Unholy Union at a plus 120 Chase uh did this a trap attempted put something down walk away no I earlier when this match got first announced it was plus 120 for Bianca and Jade and I jumped on that plus 120 so I'm very happy to shipped it in my favor oh you could sprinkle something on Alba fire and isodon it's not out the realm of possibility they could win they could they could it's not a the of possibility but honestly these women's acting titles stink uh just throw them in the incinerator uh I I would just say give it back to Bianca and Jade I I would try to maximize Jade as much as possible I get it she's not ready you don't want to expose her too much she's Jade cargo man like she'll figure it out like I I'm a big believer star power can overcome whatever adversity happens inside of the middle of the wrestling ring and Jay cargel has that star power and I I much rather see her with the title than these two alaire and isodon quite frankly bring nothing to the table they they are literally that condiment in your fridge that you forget you have it in there and then you wonder is this okay to put is this okay to put on the sandwich and you say h should I put this on the sandwich should I should I do that no you don't want to put this on your sandwich that that sounds disgusting it's been in the fridge for six months that's Dawn is it's just and it's Bel J cargo they win the belts but they don't even feel like the main tag team with the belts like they don't even feel like the main tag team like you know they're the tag team but we've been more focused on the pure Fusion Collective on raw and then on Smackdown we still been more focused on Bianca and Jade like they they just feel like such afterthoughts they just literally have the belts and you know when you make someone Champion you got to make it where they feel like Champions so and noens alar or isodon it's just they're not at the point in their careers where they can help Elevate belts like you don't give them belts because you feel like oh they're going to elevate them you give them belts because you think okay we see something in you let's try to book you guys as Champions and make you feel bigger and more important they didn't do any of that they're literally just there like damage controls people like more than them kayen Carter and Katana Chance former attacking Champions people like more than them like that that's the thing like when you don't dedicate TV time to these people and don't give them segments for people to care like Chelsea Green and uh Piper nibon have better TV segments than them and and they're not even tag Champs anymore so it's just like to me these guy these these two is just you know creative whatever like didn't get a chance it is what it is though they they still didn't make a chance with those belts to make M as them as Champion so it's not yeah no we could all agree again to it can go either way but I'm more leaning toward new Champions on Saturday and there you go with that um let's move on here we do have the next match here it's the Strat match between CM Punk and yeah CM Punk Andrew McIntyre and per bet on on line. a chase this is the follow you want to take a guess what they have it as right now you want to take a guess um punk minus 210 Drew at like a plus 175 something like that well not not quite CM Punk minus 400 to Mcintyre plus 250 they must know something U but it go but it goes back to what we were saying on Tuesday on Raw rundown um the way they've been doing all this right Punk has been getting the upper hand on Drew yeah the whole Fe this portion of the Fe at least yes I know hashtag not our CM Punk right and all that stuff and I just feel like the way this is being set up is Drew is gonna win drew that that plus 250 it's it's it's too tempting I'm staying away do not do not get tempted by that plus 250 it's it's like that one girl like you think she looks good in the back and then you turn her around and then you see that huge mole on her face you don't you don't want that you don't want that that that plus 250 is that it's it's too tempting it's too it's it's just staring at me well they tend to close the lines before since it's the early morning shows they close them at like 6: in the morning my time so maybe Friday night I'll double check this line and see where it's at betting I'm going to tell you guys right now if the odds coming out tend to you know be like past minus 350 that means most likely the person who is a minus 350 or above is going to win like there's been rare occasions for WWE side of thingses like aw and uh uh New Japan when they put those odds out go ahead with and pick The Underdogs because a lot of times they don't really get the knowledge like that but at minus 400 I feel like CM Punk's winning now he I it doesn't make sense to me for CM Punk to win but yeah I think Punk's winning this maybe maybe they do do classic double turn in this situation maybe CM Punk is booed in Germany and then later on cuts the punk pomos we all know and love you know no more pandering to the fans and stuff like that go finally you guys got sick of me well I'm sick of you I'm sick and tired of every single night coming out here trying to talk about you people coming to these shows but it turns out you people are just as fake as Drew McIntyre and he Mysterio and the WWE women's world champion Liv Morgan going up against a team of the terror twins of Damen priest and Ria Ripley Chay do you want to take another guess at this one do I take take a guess Terror twins minus 450 live and Dawn plus 300 let's find out and the results say Damen R Ripley minus 300 domond live plus 200 that is right now the odds as we speak and nine times out of 10 they're not g to change it's but by the time tomorrow they're not changing this is this is where it's stting at um I will say this this is probably for sure the the best build program on the show right now oh easy easy 100% there's no argument there that I know you said this on on Raw rundown this could easily be the main event if one honestly I think it should be to be honest but there don't and the stuff we've been seeing this Beatdown right from the new uh the Judgment Day on both Dom about on both Damen priest and Rio Ripley um every everybody just wanting to see Ria Ripley get her hands not just on Liv Morgan but more on Dominic Mysterio now what people want to see people people I really do feel in Germany in the Uber are going to lose it the roof's going to go off the building once Liv lock hits the rip tide on Dominic Mysterio do I see it happening yeah I see it happening but at the same time do you go here for the win I say yes I say the terror twins get a win here you have RI RI Pinn live and this goes to their in a Cell match at the pay-per-view I think that bad blood I'm sorry I think Terra Twins win as well uh Dom he got his win on raw and but I don't because like you know ter twins a SummerSlam so it's you know Li kind of won that match so yeah I think ter win that one Terra Twins win this match right here and then you build up momentum for Damien priest and Finn for their singles match match and then you build up a Ria and live like you suggested maybe a Hell in a Cell match for sure maybe could be does deserve a Hell in a Cell but yeah I do get ripped tied here and stuff but I don't he eats the pin you know like Li will eats the pin here so yeah the comment here uh seed WR here I gotta live and Dom winning Finn gets involved it ignites bigger fire with priest could be as well could be but I do feel like at the same time they've got their they've gotten the upper hand as of late on on on the terror twins see eventually you got to often like it's like like PL maybe the crowd's a little bit different but in terms of Live Events and stuff like they tend to go there so I don't know I don't think the crowd going to be like insane rematch from I think two weeks ago um I thought their match from two weeks ago or so was pretty good for what it was and I just don't see chase you losing the belts here I don't see it happening and yeah in case you guys didn't know Ridge Holland is now part of chasu he's won half of the tag team Champions so I'm going to go with Chase you retaining here is Andre Chase's tag team partner or is it Duke it's Andre Chase okay uh yeah um they've been teasing Nathan Fraser and axm to quote unquote split but they haven't gone there yet so maybe they're saving it they don't want to rush CH I think chasc retains yeah good luck nxc I'll be watching versus UCS there's colge yeah well there's no NFL it's Labor Day Labor Day Labor Day weekend I think that one's also being played at in Vegas too so sometimes during these NXT no mercies and we'll have like a shock win I wouldn't be surprised if W2 won they like her they they were pushing her heavy and 2.0 and then she got injured and they seem to really like her and you know she would be de because colani Jordan's is really good she spun to watch and stuff but you already got the good wrestling with the Women's Championship you don't really need it with the North American Championship add some ooly booly to this I think that's her gimmick now right she's going back to this ooly booly version of uh of Wendy Chu she's no longer the funny version yeah ooly booly yeah screw it give me some ooly booly like sha Michael's like AAG sometimes and I feel like this is going to be a complete zag everyone's gonna be shocked that Kanani Jordan here we do have before we do that uh Chief right here's NXT worth giving a chance having haven't kept up since 2.0 um it's it revamped I mean if you're expecting black and gold NXT not quite but it's kind of it's It's improved since 2.0 I will say that I I'll say chief watch the last one they did Heatwave and if you like that show you'll probably like that the the weeklys are kind of Hit or Miss but the pl they've been putting on can can be pretty pretty entertaining and Heatwave was one of the most shocking shows of the year like I I I still have it as one of my personal favorite wrestling those four shows are pretty good and Heatwave is like number five so yeah it's a pretty it's a pretty damn good show for sure um we have Oba FEI Oba femi defending the North American championship against Tony D'Angelo see last couple of weeks the last couple of weeks uh Oba FEI has been interrupting Tony B like behind backstage and you know segments and stuff like that and I know yes was it two days ago they did this whole thing where Tony D was at the restaurant and Oba was waiting for him at his table and if you notice I posted in a group chat oh look Tony D is walked by Steve's Kitchen holy [ __ ] um but outside of that yeah this should be a fun match this could be that match of the night for sure back and forth the near Falls all that stuff right they'll give you this idea that Tony Diaz a chance of winning but I see obafemi retaining here and still yeah uh this should actually be the shocking match of the night uh Tony D'Angelo when he eats to work he'll put on the working boots he's not just a gimmick so yeah I think Oba retains should be fun match though Oba fi he never fails to disappoint me every time I watch this guy I'm just like Jesus Christ this guy's a bucking world champion if I've ever seen one yes yeah for sure dude that guy bro a year and a a year and a half from now maybe all right two years two years this guy gonna this guy gonna be uh not and two you can you can Alternate which one you think is one which one is two but they have to be the the the two top prospects in NXT right now they that you're looking at but for coming out of nil he's probably he is very better know I don't I don't know dude nil's produced so many I mean Oba colani Jada Parker Sola like I don't know man the nil is is insane but I'm just talking about overall NXT yeah he's probably one or two this just depends on what you value more rock s Perez or Oba fi so I'm glad you brought up roxan Perez the next match we have you're roxan Perez defending the NXT Women's Championship against Jada Parker so Jada Parker won a uh what was it she won like a gauntlet match or something like that a couple of day a couple weeks ago in NXT to get the Z opportunity uh they did a sit down interview this past Tuesday where again you know roxan Perez you know they've been talking about how she's beating everyone that they put in front of her right how everyone that she has face have this had this dream of getting this opportunity but then Brock send beating them mall and I think this could be a good a good showing for Jay Parker I just don't think that she's ready yet to be the Women's Champion per se I mean it'll happen just not right now and I think also factoring in you're going to want to see with with with the discussions of hey Julia making her way to NXT you're gonna want to see that Julia versus roxan Perez match considering that roxan Perez a while back has referenced Julia she referenced Stephanie mcer and all that stuff so I think roxan wins and then Julia makes an appearance whether it's likely Le she'll be there live in Denver for this so there we go says you chase no W why' you pause there what was what was wrong like short circuited wait for you say something there my bad uh oh yeah no no I this reminds me it's funny the it reminds me a lot of Bianca versus shayea Basler where it's like you know Bianca bolair he was going to be very similar to Jada Parker and roxan Perez I think Parker is gonna do a good job at at getting the crowd behind her they're gonna have a lot of Hope spots in this match that she's GNA win and then roxan Perez will either win with the PO well win with the pop rocks and then it's one two three Rock and still champ I don't know I I feel still saving gilia until the CW shows I I don't seeing some NXT guys on on TNA and vice versa right all that stuff and I think it should be a fine match for what it is right I know they're doing this whole thing where Joe Henry my bad yeah Joe Henry but Ethan paage is kind of like a little paranoid here right um but I do think when it's all said and done as good as it g to be they're not gonna put the belt on Joe Henry I just don't think it's gonna happen I think what we might end up seeing here is an appearance from Josh Alexander you already cost him the TNA title remember back at SL aniversary why not cost him the NXT title yeah Ethan Paige again because I think trick Williams and Ethan Paige have unfinished business Joel Henry is very over but look it's Risky Business Like You cannot be giving your top developmental title to
