Steph, you endorsed Kamala Harris at the
DNC. Michael Jordan famously said Republicans
buy shoes, too. Why put yourself out there and take a
position? Well, first it was a conviction of, you
know, what you believe being active in and actually publicly endorsing her
being And we've been a part of the DNC back in 2020 as well.
As you approach everything with decency and humanity, it's not like I'm out here
casting flames at the other side. This is what I believe.
And whether you agree with me or not, like you want to be able to foster
positive conversations and you want to be able to, you know, have an
intelligent conversation about what's actually happening.
And I do hate the inherent, like backlash you get if you just say
anything. You know, they really hear what you say
or how you say it. It's just the fact that, you know,
people might be against the way you think.
And that's how life supposed to be. Not everybody's supposed to think the
same way. Not everybody's supposed to have the
same beliefs, but you're supposed to have a level of decency and humanity to
say, I respect you, I understand where you're coming from.
You can foster that kind of conversation.
So that's why I do it, to make sure we're still in that lane.
And obviously, like I said, this is what I believe in.
And you live with that knowing you're not going to please everybody.
But at least that's the spirit I'm trying to come with.
