What's Going on with Ohio State and Michigan?

Intro oh my goodness would you lucky here another cupcake of a schedule when is Ohio State going to play some real teams and by the way you know what I'm not even going to do it I don't want to scream I don't want to yell serious question why is Iowa rank 25th why is Sor and suy Iowa in the top 25 ladies and gentlemen boys and girls Explanation hope all you're having a great day hope all you had a great weekend if not hope this video can make it a a little bit better and hold on hold on hold on I have to address this so I stumbled across this comment and it's really not even about the comment itself it's moreful of the username why is your username Matt B balding and where did you get this profile picture and then you got the hashtags coming back hashtag matb Humpty Dumpty and you know what nothing says college football is right around the corner when you start seeing these hashtags in the comment section that is enough of the comment section and it is irrelevant to the point of this video we got to talk about two the most interesting teams in all college football Michigan the Wolverines and the W bro Ohio State what in the world is going on with L bro state of Michigan it's the mean our question by the way this is sort of a miniseries we've started on the channel right before the season where we're talking about two teams in one video we are basically just brushing the surface with all this we're talking about how they've done in the off season some of their strengths weaknesses some of their star players where they need help etc etc and how we think they may Fair out in the TN joint for season I say that to say this if you want to see me talk about a certain team you like leave a comment down below and also leave some details in the comment as to what position group or player you want to see me talk about with that being said the premise of this video is relatively simple and I feel like starting out with little bro State first if you're familiar with our Channel you know how I feel about Mr Ry day if not I'll inform you I think he's a fraud nobody has done less with more than Ry day Ohio state has been one of the most talented teams in the nation the past couple of years and they have nothing to show for it and it's not like they don't have anything to show for it they can't even beat Michigan last year was kind of like whatever Michigan was a really good team and they had a great season but two years ago no no excuse CJ strad walking away without without a championship at Ohio State is an utter disgrace and especially all those wide receivers so that's how I feel about Ryan Day not too much more needs to be said and I'll probably go on a ryane rant at some point in this season it happens every single year he will let Ohio State fans down it's what he does it's just a matter of when and another thing too I don't understand what Ohio State fans is a bunch of them actually take up for him the one thing they say and it's such a terrible way to look at it is oh well how could you say he's a fraud M he's like 50 and six that's his alltime record and yes my friend you are right he is something along those lines I don't know exact but he has a great winning percentage but here's a problem with that anybody can go out there and beat Ruckers Northwestern Iowa and all the sucking star teams in the big tan all of his losses have been to guess who the Big Time games he can't win the big one I don't care how many times you beat Ruckers Maryland Iowa all those sorry teams I'm not going to name them all you know who I'm talking about I don't care I can care less what I care about is Big Time games and Ronde he can't win those I do not want to turn this into a ronday rant so let's just move on from that let's talk about the offense they got Offense the new ocn you should be familiar with him Chip Kelly I like Chip Kelly I think it's a great hire and I think it's going to be a great fit I just wonder how much him and Ron day are going to bump heads they may not bump heads at all it could be a little bit it could be a lot of bit I guess we have to wait and see when it comes to your quarterback Position will Howard he is your starter from Kansas State and here's what Kelly had to say about the quarterback position and what he wants to see I think decision-making is at top of the list for all quarterbacks just because that's what the game is are you putting us in the right play are you getting us out of a bad play are you making the decisions to throw the check down instead of forcing it into coverage you know it's not just who has the strongest arm but the decision-making process has always been at the top of the list and then after that it would be repetitive accuracy and then athleticism you know and I think will Howard has all three of those sounds like Chip Kelly has found his guy and will Howard it's kind of cliche to say this but it's true and I'm going to point to it he is The X Factor Ohio state will only go as far as will Howard can take him am I the biggest will Howard fan no not even close I think he's good I've stated that before I've said it again my question is and what I can't wait to see is just how good or great he can actually be I'm not going to go any farther at this point in time than saying I think he's going to have a good season as far as it goes for your running backs I mean come on now do you really want me to sit up here and talk about jug kins and Trevon Henderson not going to I have been the biggest Trevon Henderson fan for years now and I currently think he's better than Judkins that's my personal opinion I think Henderson is the most underrated and undervalued player in the nation I can't get enough of Henderson I love everything he does for that team but you know he's great like I said not going to talk about him and I'm not going talk about the wide receivers Ohio state is going to have a great wide receiver core great running backs per usual we've seen it before on the flip side of the ball Believe It or Not defense is looking pretty good I've heard a ton of people ranting and raving about the linebacker Sunny Styles he's looking good CJ Hicks I've heard a lot of people say great things about him the linebacker C is looking solid you also got how could I forget to mention Arville ree who won MVP one of their scrimmages front sev's looking okay secondary doesn't concern me and you also got the Alabama transfer Caleb Downs let's take a look at Ohio State schedule I know they they do play Oregon right let's pull it up oh my Schedule goodness would you looky here another cupcake of a schedule when is Ohio State going to play some real teams what in the world is this three- game stretch akan Western Michigan and Marshall are you kidding me get out of here what is this golly and then even the fourth game you play Michigan stay they so but I can't really fault them because they're in the conference Iowa sucks wow they got five cupcakes and by the way you know what I'm not even going to do it I don't want to scream I don't want to yell serious question why is Iowa ranked 25th why is Sor and Sagi Iowa in the top 25 until they can score three touchdowns in a football game they should be banned from the top 25 what an easy five game stretch we really not going to find out anything about them until week six when they finally play a good team great team at that Oregon that's going to be a great match up then they get the Corn Huskers hey I'm hearing from Nebraska fans the buers are going to be back so you might want to watch out you got Penn State which is a completely irrelevant team until they can beat Michigan orio State I'm not going to take him serious Purdue sucks Northwestern sucks Indiana sucks and then you got Michigan this is a pretty easy schedule I mean you only get a couple of tough games looking at all these SEC schedules and looking at this it's comical you seriously only got one two I'll throw the pen state in there as two three games are even Lo loable and I'm talking about Michigan Penn State and Oregon there's only three games they even have a chance of losing what a pathetic schedule but thank the Lord they play Oregon CU if they didn't play Oregon they'd have a cupcake or Cakewalk I guess I shall say to the playoff outside of that easy breezy Michigan schedule Ohio state they're looking good I think the defense looks good offense should be good so if I was a Ohio State fan I'd be feeling pretty good heading to the season I would love to talk about them some more but we got to talk about the Rival Michigan now here's where things get a little more complicated Michigan lost how do I say this in the nicest way possible everybody almost you lost your head coach big loss you do got your own more but you lost your quarterback I mean like I said you pretty much lost like 40 50 guys what made Michigan so good last year and that was a great team was all the veteran leadership but those guys are gone you do have a new quarterback similar to Ohio State and that is Alex orgy just keeping it a fortnite v-buck with you although we haven't seen him play too much he's nowhere close to JJ McCarthy and he is especially nowhere close to McCarthy when it comes to throwing the ball and throwing it accurately I don't want to say he's a similar player I'm not comparing him so don't get it twisted but kind of like Joe Milton and if you're a Michigan fan you're familiar with him he's not exactly the same player cuz org is more of your Scrambler type of quarterback but when it comes to their arm accuracy yeah similar orgy's your guy but if I was a Michigan fan I would not be feeling too confident about that for example if I was an Ohio State fan and I will Howard is my starter I'd be feeling pretty good but orgy no fortunately you got one of the best backs in the nation Donovan Edwards I always thought he got overshadowed by Blake km because I thought he was just as good as him if not a little bit better that's going to shock some people and it's not because I'm trying to disrespect K it's because I'm that high on Edwards love his game so when it comes to your quarterback and running back Duo should be good at least running wise and hey we know this Michigan can win a game when they only throw the ball sick Pi seven eight times let's not act like they can't do it because they provve they could although Michigan's not looking particularly strong at the wide receiver position one guy that I've been paying attention to is Tyler mois remember the name I don't think he's going to have an outstanding season just due to that's not Michigan's play style to have a receiver have 1500 receiving yards but I think when Saw s and done he might be their best wide receiver the offensive line just lack a little bit of depth but the starters I think they're going to be fine the one thing everybody's saying is oh when michig offens line they're not going to be near as good as last year and that may be true but I also don't believe they're as far as behind as people think they are I'm telling you right now if one of you were to say well Matt I think Michigan's going to be really good at offense I could see that happening on the flip side if somebody were to tell me Matt I think Michigan's going to be really B at offense I could also see that happening whereas with Ohio State there's not a chance in the world they're going to be bad with Michigan it's going to be solely dependent upon Alex orgy everybody kind of clowned on McCarthy cuz well he didn't throw the ball a lot last year and they tried to play him off as oh well he's just a game manager no McCarthy could go out there and win games they just didn't need him to do it all the time I'm going to remind you Michigan needed a touchdown to tie it at the end of the game against Bama and who let him down on that drive to tie it McCarthy they didn't run the ball doing that they passed the ball he did that throughout the season he did against Ohio State whenever Michigan needed a b time throw he made it my concern with Alex orgy is I don't know if he can do that actually I've changed my mind at this point in time I don't think he can do that from what I could tell I think Moore is going to try to have a similar philosophy as the former head coach Jim Harbaugh I have a hard time believing Michigan's going to get out there and change things drastically within a year on the flip side ball for a defense there's really not too much to be said it's Michigan you know they're going to be solid of course they lost some guys but let's not try to over complicate this it's Michigan they're going to be a good defensive football team and to tell you the truth they kind of have to be cuz if not not going to be great let's take look at Michigan's schedule similar to Ohio State I haven't seen it starting out with an interesting matchup with Fresno State how in the world did that come about I have no idea I can't even call that a cupcake cuz I'm going to be transparent with all of you I don't know anything about Fresno State they shouldn't struggle with that so hopefully they get a free win next up and you know what this is what I like to see a tough matchup non-conference early in the season unlike their little brother Ohio State they got Texas and Quin that is going to be a great game I forgot we even had that match up this year and I'm going tell you what this is going to be a great year to be a college football fan I feel like I say that every year but I really mean it this year with all the comment alignment we got all these new matchup it's going to be great then you got to play USC that's a top 25 team man that is a brutal four game stretch Minnesota Washington okay Illinois Michigan State Oregon I forgot they could play Oregon too sheesh Indiana cupcake Northwestern cupcake and the little bro Ohio State so let's go back over this and look at your hard games cuz Ohio state had what do we say three not going to count Forno state so Texas USC do I count Washington although they were a good team last year they probably aren't going to be too good this year no I'm not going to count them Illinois is going to suck Michigan State's going to suck so Oregon that's three Indiana sucks okay so they only have four hard games but man oh man their hard games are going to be hard number two Ohio State number three Oregon hold on looking oh yeah four so you play two three and four and 23 here's what I'm going to say about this to Michigan fans I hope you enjoyed it last year and I'm happy for y'all really happy for that fan base I think Michigan has an outstanding fan base at that but this year you're not going undefeated in regular season no shot I'd say at worst Michigan goes 8- four best maybe 10- two I just don't see him win 11 ball games Final Thoughts no way I think this is going to be your stereotypical hey we won a championship last year so this year it's going to be sort of a let down but to be honest if you go into it thinking it's going to be a let down is it really a let down just something for your train of thought I've always had a perspective if you win a championship at least for me although for some people it's never enough but whatever happens next year you don't care about it and even the year after I know we're going to have some Michigan fans watching this video and I could say the same thing for Ohio State fans if I were to tell Michigan fans at the beginning of last year hey you're going to win a National Championship this year but the next two or three years are not going to be good I I think they'd take that and I think any fan base would take that i' rather win a championship and just completely suck for the next 5 years in a row than just be a really good team that's always in contention but can never win it and I'm going to ask Ohio State fans same scenario if I were to tell you heading into this season you got one of the most talented teams and you're going to win the championship but since you are going to win the championship in the following years you're going to be like 4 and eight five and seven would you be okay with that I don't know I think some fans would but I'm curious I'm in the comments what you think about that and by the way me saying Ohio State next year in the next four years would go 4 and8 or 5- seven that's just hypothetically speaking it's an example it's not going to happen in conclusion if I'm an Ohio State fan I'm feeling really good if I'm a Michigan fan eh a little wishy-washy but it goes back to what I just harped on the last couple minutes do you even really care if you struggle this year you're still riding off of that high win in the championship last year like all the other teams we talked about I guess we have to wait and see what happens let me know your thoughts and all this down below but
