2024 North Carolina Tar Heels Football Schedule Overview | WHAT IS THIS?

going to talk about the recently released 2024 North Carolina Tar Hills football schedule and I am stoked yes I know that it's January and I know that our hardwood heels are stinking hooping but you also know that your boy loves to talk about some Carolina football now like was a for mentioned it's January okay so this will just be a very brief look at the 2024 UNC football schedule what I'll do is I'll reveal the opponent go over the all-time record between Carolina and set opponent and then we'll briefly discuss the last time that the heels met that team on their grd iron so just to reiterate this is not a prediction show it's only January and there is a ton of stuff that can happen between now and the spring game and between now and the first game of the season but we will definitely take a look at the schedule so without further Ado drum roll please Wham there it is and the first thing that your boys got to say is what is that Minnesota Charlotte NC Central and James Madison in the noncon and I'm going to be completely honest with you guys not one of those games not one of them is sexy to me I'm just keeping it a Buck man yes the first game of the season as we get into it Thursday August 29th the North Carolina Tar Hills will go up to Big 10 country and face the Minnesota Golden Gophers and we saw what that game looked like last year and I anticipate that it'll be much the same I mean Minnesota first game of the season I guess it could be worse but man just not very sexy if you ask me now North Carolina played Minnesota last year for the first time so Carolina holds a 1 and0 record against the Minnesota Golden Gophers and they beat him last year 31-13 in Chapel Hill Drake May threw for 414 yards two touchdowns he also had two interceptions om Marian Hampton had one touchdown on 133 carries for 46 yards and Nate McCullum had a touchdown on 15 catches for 165 yards receiving so that was like the one game that Nate McCullum stinking balled out then we go to September 7th the Charlotte 49ers out of the American Athletic Conference their first year in the AAC Carolina's never played these guys before and you know what if you ask me it should stay that way but here we are September 7th playing the Charlotte 49ers in Chapel Hill and good night Carolina signs a home and home or home and away with Charlotte so when we play Charlotte next time guess what we have to play at Charlotte there's no reason that North Carolina should ever play at Charlotte then you follow that up SE September 14th North Carolina Central out of the Mak The Mid Eastern Athletic Conference Carolina has never played North Carolina Central if you ask me once again it should stay that way North Carolina should never play North Carolina Central unless it's the first game of the season since there are no preseason games in college football then Carolina follows that game up September 21st James Madison Dukes out of the sunb conference now this this is not a bad football team last year okay this is not definitely a walk in the park type game but it's still James Madison and North Carolina holds a three to nothing record all time against the Dukes the last meeting was a 56-28 North Carolina victory in 2016 Miss trabis threw for 432 yards and three touchdowns Elijah Hood had two touchdowns on 106 yards 18 carries and Ryan Switzer had five catches 101 yards for one touchdown now interesting football game September 28th right we start conference play at Wallace Wade Stadium against the puke Blue Devils for the Victory Bell now North Carolina leads that alltime series 65- 40 with four ties and the last time these two teams met was last year a 47- 45 double overtime Victory by the the North Carolina Tar Hills which your boy and his family were there to see the tar Hills storm the field and keep the victory bell Drake may had a touchdown pass he also had an interception he threw for 342 yards Maran Hampton rushed for one touchdown on 31 carries for 171 yards and TZ Walker had seven receptions for 162 yards then North Carolina moves on October 5th the pit Panthers in Chapel Hill North Carolina leads the all-time Series against the pit Panthers 12 to five and the last time these two teams met was last year 41 to 24 North Carolina Victory up in Pittsburgh Drake may had a touchdown pass he threw for 296 a Maran Hampton had a touchdown 18 carries 67 yards and JJ Jones had six receptions for 117 yards then very interesting Football game October 12th the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets come to Chapel Hill and they take on m brown and the tar Hills and Jeff Collins and that North Carolina defense so it will be very interesting to see what Jeff Collins has in store for his old team where things did not go very well in his tenure there North Carolina has a losing record against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets all time 33- 22 and the last time these two teams met was a 46- 42 Georgia Tech Victory last year in Atlanta Drake May thre for two touchdowns on 310 yards a Maran Hampton had 153 on 29 carries and two touchdowns and Bryson nond had a touchdown three receptions and 89 yards then a little interesting stretch right here October 19th is an open date for the North Carolina Tar Hills then they'll follow that up October 26 at Virginia in the South's oldest rivalry North Carolina holds a 66- 58 all-time record against the Virginia Cavaliers their last meeting was last year when the stinking the the the card house fell over basically when Virginia came to Chapel Hill North Carolina's number 10 in the country undefeated cfp talks and a just atrocious Virginia team ends up beating North Carolina 31 to 27 Drake may had two touchdowns and a pick he threw for 347 yards om Marian Hampton rushed for 112 yards on 19 carries and tez Walker had a touchdown 11 catches for 146 once again that's where the the stinking card house fell down basically in North Carolina season was just completely derailed for the second season in a row and then following the Virginia game where hopefully the North Carolina tarah Hills can get some stinking Revenge from last year a trip to Tallahassee to play the Florida state seminal on November second and North Carolina has not fared very well against the seminal but they are two and three in their last couple of trips to Tallahassee so hopefully North Carolina can continue that Trend they're three and 17 with one tie all time against Florida State their last meeting was in 2021 Florida State beat the tar Hills 35 to 25 Sam how had two touchdown passes one interception and threw for 203 yards he also led the team with 111 yards on 11 carries and Josh DS had 121 yards on nine catches with a touchdown then North Carolina has another open date on November 9th before they hit the home stretch and then happy birthday to me November 16th the North Carolina Tar Hills host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in Chapel Hill and this is one that I may have to go to I've been telling everybody that like it's it's I you know it's on my birthday but I really want to go to the NC State game in Chapel Hills so you let me know down in the comments section which game rust thear Hill should go to this year because obviously you guys know I got to travel to get there but anyway Wake Forest is losing all time against North Carolina 72- 36 with two ties and the last meeting between these two teams was a 36-34 North Carolina Victory back in 2022 Drake May through for 448 yards and three touchdowns he also had a rushing touchdown and led the team with 71 yards on 11 carries and Josh DS had three touchdown catches 11 receptions for 100 and 54 yards then Carolina will follow that up this is kind of a tricky game November 23rd they got to take a trip up to Boston so you know it's going to be stinking cold and when I knew that we were playing Boston College in Chestnut Hill I was hoping that we would get this game toward the front end of the schedule to avoid this stinking weather nope we're going to be freezing our butts off but the good news is that North Carolina leads the alltime series 6-2 last meeting between these two teams 26-22 North Carolina Victory back in 2020 Sam Hal had two touchdown passes one interception ception 225 yards passing Michael Carter had 121 yards rushing on 16 carries and dami brown had four catches for 60 yards you guys remember that was like a real strange game that Carolina kind of pulled out in the end um so hopefully they'll be able to handle business a little bit easier when they make that trip up to Boston College in this second to last game of the year and then November 30th the North Carolina t Hills host the team that we love to hate NC State and North Carolina holds a 68 to 39 with six ties last year was an embarrassing 39 to20 NC State victory in Raleigh Drake may had two touchdown passes two picks while throwing for 254 yards he also had one touchdown nine carries for 106 yards rushing and John copenhaver had one touchdown reception for five catches for 64 yards it is time for us to turn the tide against NC State and what better way to do that than to finish the 2024 campaign on a high note by beaten state in Chapel Hill so there you go Tar Hill Nation that's it I don't know about you man but this is not like some kind of crazy just un beable schedule we'll see what North Carolina has but I see a ton of WS slash gray games that can go either way I mean I guess you could talk about the at Florida State game as kind of the one that you're looking at and you're like o that one may be really tough but what other game on here do you kind of look at and you're like man I just don't know I don't know we'll see like I said there's a lot that can happen between the spring game and
