did it prove to you guys winning 70 to nothing over University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff man did it prove anything to y'all let me know who first cuz I'm for me I'mma tell you what it did prove what it did prove is we felt like we were a superior team on both sides of the football and what it proved to me is that they didn't play D to the level of competition cuz a lot of times that's what happens in these types of games they start messing around and they messing around and next thing you know oh snap in in the fourth quarter and you done gave this little team some life they really did handle business so that's what it did prove it proved that if you are a superior team you can just go go out there and take care of business now did it prove to me that they are a superior team think about that no it didn't it proved to me that we were a better team than you know uapb so it's still some unanswered questions for your boy but it was some you I mean some good things uh that came out of this win so I'm not disappointed at all okay I tell you what it proved to me I got a couple things first thing it proved to me that you can bury old hatches because I seen G Holmes with John this thing about his throwing mechanic so T being 67 they said he had the release point of a 6 foot quarterback that's mechanics okay that is the way he's throwing the the football his release point I mean as a six seven quarterback they say he was releasing the ball like a six fo quarterback so that's lower so now that's going to put you in a whole lot more situations at the line and everything when you think you seeing over the line because you taller and you doing all this your mechanics are bad so that's what that means Bobby patrino they said they working on his mechanics he can still make the throws but he's just got to work on that release point because guess what a different release point if you guys know anything about you know throwing any kind of ball where you release it if you release it further you know hold on to it longer you're going to throw it in the dirt you release it too early it's going to be too high so that's a lot of stuff that you have to those are like your mechanics and then during the game you went back to doing something old and then after that game you was like oh I see now what the coach is talking about you know what the difference basketball put under the line of fire that's when your eyes open as a player and you say oh I now see what the coach has been telling me so yeah your mechanics can be fixed all right Matt what you say about Mr ton green so y'all may or may not have seen this I got cooked a little bit on Friday because I was not tickle with the way talum played on on Thursday night um you know I said it on the show back in the spring that I was concerned about his mechanics and about his ability to get the ball out in a timely fashion um what box said about his his release point is either boxer Greg said it his release point is is seriously low for a kid that's 6'6 6'7 that's concerning especially when we get into conference play against guys that are four and five times the athlete the kids we saw on Thursday night um you know I'm concerned about interceptions with him I'm concerned about his mechanics I'll be honest we I'm concerned about him between the ears a little bit because there were some things that he did Thursday night that you do that in a in a in a real game let's just call it a real game in the in conference it's going to cost us ball game I think we're going to see on Saturday with Oklahoma State I think you're going to see whether or not he has got what it takes to go to that next level and be an SEC quarterback cuz it's going to be the best defense he probably ever seen to be honest I don't think he's going to I don't think he's seen guys as fast I don't think he's seen guys as big um I don't think he's seen the kind of scheme that they're going to throw at him on Saturday they are definitely going to stack the box and make him throw the ball they're not going to let him run and and and uh Oklahoma State's got a linebacker I believe that kid's 23 years old they got a bunch of sixth and seventh year seniors and stuff on that team I I just don't I'm not sold on him I'm not down in the kid I'm just not sold on him as our starting quarterback I personally I think Malachi Singleton has looked better um I like what Malachi brings now some people upset because he's not 6'7 or whatever and you know everybody in this is the thing that that that I love and hate about Razorback fans the day that Bobby patrino got re hired everybody oh we're going to win we're just going to win because of Bobby we're going to win CU of Bobby okay how many times Bobby got fired for yes but did he not just battle jacobe Chiswell for the same position yes so this is his second year battling it out so he probably mad that he knew he he he knew what he had on the line with this he he battling for nil he battling for good tape if he do transfer he got a lot of stuff to fight for so yeah Malachi looked amazing and I hope that he gets more opportunities this year to do his thing for me I think he was I mean he ran the offense great I don't think there was no there was no love in the offense when he came in I mean you can tell that he's been practicing with these guys because the the timing was there uh like everybody saying the accuracy was there I mean the decision making one of the things that I did have a kind of an issue with uh green was the decision making getting the ball out you know there's a lot of times he was late with the throw and you know in ACC that half a second man is going to be the difference between a completion and a pick and so those are some of the things that I noticed that Singleton man he saw the man he made the read made the throw made the read made the throw or tucked and ran it so those are some of the things I I really did like about Singleton is his decision making and the Christmas with of the passing let me explain to y'all something that what patrino said in his press conference he said you tell Malaki one time he got it way that's my personal opinion um Malachi made the throws he made the reads I didn't see any mental mistakes out of him that that concern me a whole lot for somebody that truthfully has not played a game in three years now guys he didn't even play his senior year high school I mean the kid was recovering from major foot surgery and has overcome all this and still here he wants to by all intents and purposes looks like he wants to be here you know so I I I'm like I'm like box man I think something happens with tailor Tor misses a pass throws some interceptions he gets hurt he ain't letting go of that job they're going to have a $600,000 paper weight sitting on the end of the bench that's just my opinion TKA Tai what you think about it well I think mechanically it's kind of like what Clint sterer was saying mechanically yeah he's a better quarterback mechanically but I also saw a pass get batted down at the line of scrimmage and against any other team that's that you're going to multiply that times three or four uh I don't care how good your mechanics are if you can't see over the line of scrimmage and Defenders can jump up balls get batted um but but otherwise I'm kind of like Dey if something happens and T green goes down I'm not sweating it at all because this is the first time in the last what since Ry Mallet and Tyler Wilson that our backup is just as good as the
