[Music] we and go Big Sky Conference let's go Eastern Washington Weber State hello we've talked about both of these teams a couple of times on the show this season Weber favored by five at home total 146 in this matchup for this evening Kyle I'm back to you you're going to start us off with an official play what stood out to you among a bevy of games to choose from what stood out about this one to put on the sheet I say first of all that this is a good game this is a really good game both these two teams very good in the Big Sky kenpom has this as the fifth best game of the night as far as thrill score so this is definitely not one of those sicko games that I usually pick um Eastern Washington we talked about them a few weeks ago remember TJ that they had a bad record but they' played really good teams they really really tough strength of schedule they've gotten into the Big Sky and they've just been clubbing teams you know winning really big here uh Eastern Washington first in the Big Sky and offensive efficiency they're second and average possession link so playing very quick uh Weber State has no shot blockers down low Eastern Washington a pretty tall team I think this would be a tight game but uh the way I look at this one is both offenses will have success I thought about playing the game over but I decided to go with Eastern Washington because I think the number is so good here uh both teams are better on offense than they are on defense the last four times they've met Eastern Washington scored 84 75 75 and 89 points here we're getting a nice line of just 70 and a half I think it's going to be a close game where you could get some uh fouling and back and forth at the end of the game overtime obviously a possibility with a tight game as well so if you're going to give me just 70 and a half I'm going to take Eastern Washington team total over I think Eastern Washington certainly has a chance to win this game too Jeff Nao it is a Weber State team that has lost backto Back Games they've been Rolling Along what two four six straight wins until they lost on the road at Sacramento State and at Portland State what do you make of this one with Weber State at home with Eastern Washington a really interesting game you know you look at e ew I them early in the season I agreed with Kyle and agree with you guys that this team is undervalued they have some real offensive Talent they can shoot the basketball at a really high level and you know you look at the fact of generally in their games they generally are able to run the tempo they want to run this is a pace battle here right one wants to play Slow ew wants to play fast but you look at in recent results it's ew that generally kind of do what they want to do 91 93 87 88 like they put up the big numbers they're running the tempo I think they continue to run it here they beat this group last year in both games I think this is sometimes where you just take the better team five seem too high to me um look you give them two or three for home court fine but in a coin flippy game I always take the better team uh and to me it's W they're the better scoring team and probably the slightly better defensive team as well um yeah I like the play either way they should get into the 70s since their loss to Washington Eastern Washington's run off five straight wins as Jeff was alluding to they won most recently at Idaho on the weekend Cedric coward and Eastern Washington rolling in to uh Weber State tonight for this one at the D Event Center at Weber tonight at s local time 9 Eastern time uh and Kyle Hunter says I like Eastern Washington to score more than 71 you know 70 uh one or more points here he'll take the team total over 70 and a half not Li not relying on uh on an overall game total with what Weber may or may not do in this matchup very interesting in the Big Sky we go all over the map uh here as you've already seen from the ca to the American Conference and now to the Big Sky already on the show and we know you peeps you Savages you love this you degenerates that are watching us at 11:00 a.m. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] weekdays
