hi everybody this is the baseball head the amazing spectacular terrific the great one the people's Champion the host of Hut and again let's get the brooms out as New York Mets again swept another team this time the Boston Red Sox sent them packing pretty easily I'll tell you the Red Sox are shot I said that last night but the Mets won again tonight they won seven in a row and it's funny you know they lost that they lost those two games on the road trip they lost that last game in San Diego and they lost that second game in Arizona I said it at the time that they were in trouble you know every time we think we want to bury this club they they come roaring back and they certainly come roaring back had a very good road trip they went 7 and three against uh some good teams and one bad team and then they came in and just did what they were supposed to do they swept the Red Sox you believe that and the Red Sox I'll tell you Rafael Des he looked terrible in this series now as we get further into this video hit the Subscribe button we're over 5,000 subscribers this is the most entertaining the most original Channel you're going to find on this platform and on any and really anywhere else on the internet there is no Mets Channel like this entertaining informative just plain fun and that's what we want want here and that's all I want here and I want the Mets to win that's all that matters I will have uh updates on the Wild Card race uh later on tonight much later on tonight I'm going to try to stay up and just wait out the San Diego game and the Arizona game right now San Diego is playing the the Tigers early on the Tigers winning in this game out in California and Arizona is also in California playing the Giants uh last night the Giants kind of Arizona kind of hung out hung on to to win that game uh they were up 8 to three and they they finished to win that eight game 8 to7 but get back to the Met game also before I forget Braves won tonight the Cubs won tonight Cubs are four games back of the Mets the Mets are half a game behind Atlanta in the Cubs game they threw a no a combined no hitter a no hitter no hitter should amaga started the game pitched seven Innings and it was a combined no hitter with uh two believe is coming in and support of him from I understand he only thre 95 pitches in that game he would have been the third japanese-born pitcher to throw a no hitter in the history of Major League Baseball uh if he had gone nine innings uh but I will have an update on these other teams in a short it doesn't seem like anybody's moving tonight unless uh something happens in San Diego and and Arizona really not much moving here but the Mets are playing so well they start off real strong strong in this game must jumped on on top of the ace the Red Sox Tanner H 4 nothing in the first standing with the Grand Slam folks Grand Slam by one of my favorite Mets of all time one of my favorite Mets of all time uh Jesse Winker I was very hard on him and to see him uh do as well as he has done I'm happy know people sort of been goofing on me a bad T take as an age well I don't care I want the m to win I want the players to play well and that's all it matters to me now he hit a grand slam hit the ball off the back of the wall um to left center field it's funny he mentioned during that bat that he should take the ball uh swing his Bat more to left field and that's exactly what he did in that inning he's been a very has become very popular all of a sudden he's waving I love that the waving at the end of when he comes around hits a home run that's great and uh you know the Mets had a very interesting game t Mill got this 4-run lean he G he kind of came close to giving it up I watched a little while ago again uh Jerry bevens God bless him he didn't know what the hell he's talk he didn't know what he's talking about he said you know uh Tyler pitch well Tyler did not Pitch well he did not go FX I must need him to get linked out of him um he basically pitch the same kind of game that he's pitched in prior to when he went down to the minor leagues so the idea that he pitched just as he pitched well in this game I don't sorry Jerry I'm not buying that but anyway met Bullpen came in uh Danny Alex Young Danny Young Danny Young came in the game uh think he got the win I get these Youngs confused one of these Youngs came in Mets finished fifth inning sixth inning seventh inning getting double plays from the first young Basel Bas Basel but buzzle but uh and of course uh the hell was the other guy uh Phil Mone if I don't even it doesn't matter matters is the Mets swept this game and more importantly uh the Mets are still uh grinding it out Mets now are 76 and 8 and 64 that 12 games over 500 um since they were 11 games under 500 they're 23 games over 500 theyve played the best baseball in the National League since that point and all the credit goes to the players all the play all the credit goes to the coaching staff all the credit goes to the manager and of course it all goes to David Sterns because those guys believed when 90% of the fan base uh did not believe in them at all you know I believed in them till they played in may they went 9 and 19 uh but I came back to my senses and even though they were shaky on the road trip at times last week uh they shown that they they have earned our respect I said this in previous videos last few days they're going to I've been saying this the last month they're going to be in this to the end of the line the end of the line is Atlanta believe it or not and Milwaukee we have some payback for both of those teams Atlanta because they're they cheating don't ever forget that and we have payback to get the Brewers from what they did to the Mets in the very beginning of this season cannot forget that and the Mets have had a bad history of the last few years in Milwaukee and it's time for payback a payback hopefully comes back with the Met getting this final playoff spot um now the ball pen like I mentioned they pitch really well really really Factor five and two3 innings uh and they had to go to Edwin Diaz because in the he didn't get the SA in the game but the Mets scored four runs in the n in the eighth inning if burning Ken Kenley jansson this is like the first time I've ever seen Kenley Janson uh give up any runs in a game against a any hits he really hit they got like one hitting anybody he walked everybody you know it was just a crazy crazy ending and rather you know uh something that rather unusual and you saw the bullpen for the for the Red Sox was so bad in this series the Red Sox I'm surprised that their record has been as good as it has been just looking at how how they played this series uh not that I'm a Red Sox fan but not very inspired baseball the defense is terrible the bullpen is Dreadful and the m just did what they were supposed to do they they basically did their business on them and you know and and won you know and swept them and that's why we got the broom out again um this is two brooms in a row for two Series in a row met swep the white socks and they swep the Red Socks up playing a lot of colors in the last few days just think about that white socks the Red Soxs Reds and then the Blue Jays and uh then after that they play the Phillies now this weekend like I said the Mets are playing the Reds and la de la Cruz it'll be fun to watch him he's a very electrifying player uh but the reds are playing out the shrine and have to get up for this series the fans going to be out there the energy in the game tonight at the Ballpark was great it's been great it was great on Monday considering it's a Monday night at 35,000 in City Field that's great good sign uh that people are buying in on the team and obviously the weekend's going to be big against Cincinnati with the fans being there and then the Meto on an interesting road trip they play the Blue Jays and Toronto uh that'll be interesting I believe the Paul Blackburn should be coming back for that series um and then the Mets play the Phillies and your host will be taking the show to Philadelphia because one of my subscribers has invited me down there to sit behind the Mets Dugout I'm going to cheer the Mets now he is a philes fan I hope to God I don't get dragged into the abyss but we'll just we'll just say you know we're going to have a lot of fun going down there we going to take a lot of a lot of videos we'll do a live stream when we go down there of watching the Mets play the Phillies um and we'll see what happens I'll try to do a video after the game at the Ballpark to give you a postgame reaction hopefully we'll have good weather uh last week it seemed like it might be a little bit of rain in the morning I'm going to be driving down there so it's going to be a lot of fun uh but the Mets have W seven in a row like I said to finish out this video I won seven in a row they 12 games over 500 I I think they're on Pace to won 88 games I guess that's great it's probably going to take close to 88 89 wins to get this final wild card so that's got to keep winning they got to I got a team that they can roll over this I would mention tomorrow that off before I forget me off tomorrow I'm going to have a live stream celebrating the 5,000 subscribers and the Mets winning and winning and sweeping teams like crazy so we'll see what happens on Friday I don't have the pitching matchups yet for us uh but I will get them to you um at some point but uh this is a great time to be a Mets fan it's a lot of fun playoff baseball every game is a playoff game and even the Met Omega it's been a great year I want to keep this role going all the way to October but got to get there first they got three teams get ped they're half game out of the scum sunking Braves there was payback that has to be made the best thing they can do is go down to Atlanta and beat them I'm tired of going down there and seeing the m not showing up and the Braves somehow magically uh get big hits when they shouldn't be getting big hits against it's good pitchure and I'm getting very irritated having to deal with this over and over and over again espe she down there something going on down there you can't tell me otherwise I didn't see it two years ago with the way the Met play at City Field as opposed to down there and how the Braves were something is up but anyway that's for later on in a few weeks but I want to thank you for coming by I'm so glad I got the broom out again hope we get the broom out a few more times before the season is over we have 22 games left now the season and it's only a matter of time before we know the season's going to be over the dust will settle and and hopefully the Mets will be in
