and very much looking forward to bringing you live action from MLS it's the Chicago Fire up against inter Miami well thanks Derek as always the scene is set two good teams a great play in oh whistle [Applause] and he whips it in well I take my hat off to him because that was superb defending who can they pick out well perhaps not a high percentage chance for him well although he was always going to be second to the ball the defender just about did enough to stop him getting a clean header there effective press and the referee sensibly allowing them to carry on Advantage with them Messi good piece of Defending and foul it is then the referee was of a mind to see whether anything would come of that but now he's going to hand out the caution and he was never going to get away with that one it's really good referee and nicely over the top and pass seeing it through Messi might be in here and there it is and almost intuitive piece of finishing well as you can see the first save is a good one but they can't react quickly enough to the second ball the keepers a bit unlucky really [Applause] now the ball is moving once more how important will that opening goal prove to be and a tidy challenge Messi that's very effective good high pressing they look as though they want to make this move count and let's give credit to the [Applause] defending onto ru [Applause] Navado they don't deserve it well as you can see he's a great talent what a run what a goal and what a play he is so two nil now number Lionel Messi Hugo kers Andrew Goodman well the moving it around with real purpose here can he get one back oh keeper dealt with it well could this be the Turning Point the fans are certainly hoping so and he's fired over the corner well they did have the ball but not fine piece of Defending play to break us up and so it is the first half story has been written well we're highlighting lonel Messi for a reason he's asking plenty of questions of the Defenders out there Stuart well he's been a joy to watch so far he's got so much ability and it was also a very good finish for his goal he's been excellent [Applause] and so the second half is underway they took quite the thrashing in that first 45 can they turn things around now well a stylish moment makes his way in field now who can he pick out and that's a straightforward [Applause] stop Gutierrez has it a Costa kers could be threatening able to close down the shot [Applause] who can he pick out pretty routine there for the goalkeeper Messi an important interception he went in so dangerously with that tackle now the referee is the man everyone's looking at and there it is a red card and everything was going mostly to plan well it shouldn't affect the result but it ruins what has been a very good performance [Applause] [Applause] not a great Challenge free kick [Applause] here delivered into the box thumps clear [Applause] Robert Taylor and with that the attack Fizzles out well they might be able to launch a Counterattack it has gone over the touch line for what'll be a throw in well there's a really stylish piece of running a foul it most certainly was free kick [Applause] [Applause] given and fired from the flank into the area in it goes but it will not stand offside Stewart will it looked close didn't it he certainly thought so he's making that clear to the linesman now and a the touch line for a throw in well they decided to make a change now what can they produce on the flank has someone to play it to just couldn't get it through could be a chance to break here oh fancy footwork can they use it to their advantage could be it's still [Applause] alive just the clearance that was called for and the referee blows for a foul and the substitution will occur now well the Defenders know they need to get tighter can't really allow runs like that and there it breaks down but credit to the defense into the final 20 minutes shakiri a no degree of difficulty for the goalkeeper Kia Messi relations to CLA your and space to exploit maybe and it's played into the center and a confident [Applause] clearance a good effective pressure high up the pitch just have to make sure they don't get caught on the Counterattack all hands on deck well it was a superb Counterattack but no goal yeah really good play won the ball back well and then counted with great speed that deserved a goal well they have elected to go to the bench at this stage of the game perfect tackle laid into the center not the most confident clearance strong hand on that [Applause] one [Applause] grle let's see if he can spring Messi with this pass well couldn't bend his run and the flag went up and in the right position to read it could be dangerous well somehow the goalkeeper got to it and a substitution in the offing number 21 entering the match number eight Chris Mu and played Short fine cross into the middle danger Aver it [Applause] well plenty of scope for them to attack has eyes for goal foiling his opponent [Applause] completely well they had the advantage that's good refereeing well taken away he won the ball well the keeper had plenty to think about with bodies around him and intercepts again well the counter chance looks very real well they seem to be on to something positive but it faded away takes the shot well the post getting in the way there Messi that's a nice looking ball and nothing comes of [Applause] it Ball's gone and that is that the referee blows his whistle for full time and it's a victory for the visitors well it was a very assured performance wasn't it I was particularly impressed with their play going forward really Lively almost cutting through at will at times the result was never much in doubt if I'm honest well as we run the rule over this man's work positive after positive Stewart well he was a major reason why they won today he was so reliable and he inspires those around him
