caderas Tony uh who we talked about beginning preseason or beginning of training camp you know playing running back playing receiver since then he's been hurt since he came back from the injury he's now you know barely playing with the ones um and the yesterday when the dep chart came out garas Tony was at first I didn't see him I was like wait did we cut him because I didn't see him and then I look kept going going going and he was the 10th Man uh on the wide receiver dep chart so it seems like yeah seems like things aren't working out as as we thought the beginning of training camp although we were kind of excited at the beginning of training camp but looks like that those that excitement is kind of wavered uh but JD when you see this when he's buried uh I know it's the initial Deb chart um but I'm curious what you think about the initial de chart since you you you played in the NFL for so long but do you think this is the the end is near for kadary Tony in Kansas City after seeing him so far down on the dep chart so I haven't seen the depth chart man but I I I think it is just unfortunate that he continues to get hurt uh and like I said no fault of his own man it's just these injuries just kind of Stack Up and so um a guy that's very talented uh anytime something like this happens it just puts you behind eightball it does I don't know where this thing is going to go uh is he gonna be someone who's healthy enough to play the three preseason games and then make a choice and a decision on on on him uh but it it man I just I hate seeing this I really do uh because it was a bright spot I think everybody was was talking like oh we utilizing him we put him in the back field we can do this all these different things and these possibilities and all of a sudden you know just kind of gets gets hindered with the injuries man so I I don't know I don't know man I'm not gonna speculate but it's not good news being that far on the depth chart and so you got to be spectacular on everything that you do to move up so yeah and the fact that you know he was retain with running backs was retaining with receivers and he has the injury and that's been kind of thing that's kind of plagued him throughout his career so far with New York and then us and the whole like shady business behind him being out in the Super Bowl he was injured he said he wasn't injured then he was injured and then uh today he wasn't practicing um Andre Chanel who was at or somebody in our chat who was at practice yesterday so he was carded off again yesterday but it was a precautionary carded off as what they said but I mean when you see that and you see him bared at the dep chart it's it's you know it's a there's a lot there there's a lot of things there and you know we saw we traded Emir Smith marett last year for like a seventh round pick you know Tony does have some Talent maybe some team want there out there may want to take a flyer on him uh but I don't know I tell you man when you when you have injuries stacking up some people just like they try to avoid you like the plague I'm telling you so I I I don't know I don't know but yeah hard to hear hard to hear that how much do you take away from the uh the dechart with 90 man right now there's there's been no cuts right but like how much do you take away from the initial dep chart uh I mean at this moment you I mean you know who who the starters are going to be pretty much uh and maybe your your two um other than that all the other guys after that man is pretty much kind of speculation uh there's gonna be look there's gonna be some shocks of guys not making it okay I just want to get people prepared really of a name like oh what think like yeah it happens every year it happens every single year but I do believe the chief is going to keep their core guys together okay uh unless guy's just messing up he just can't get it right I I don't see them moving on particular guys uh so I I I just I don't put any stock into it right now let's wait till Saturday then we have a better assessment on seeing how things work with guys so and my question to you is if he doesn't if he's deemed injured on Saturday does that not vote well for him no they don't vote sh for anybody I don't care if anybody goes out there and screws up they ain't gon bow well for him so say if he doesn't play it all he don't play it all yeah that that's H yeah I mean unless he just injured if he's injured yeah I mean he can't play so they may just regulate and say okay precautionary we'll wait till the LA last two games that's what it's going to be Stu no go Bucks no Stu no Stu says yeah great show not I gotta go go Bucks nah okay now you a bucks fan thought you a Philly guy you New Jersey guy St come on now Malibu St come on no better than that all right Chiefs all day baby go ahead yeah um no yeah so but okay let's say he doesn't play he's got the ankle and he's bad on the ankle and back injury appreciate this their Anonymous mango but yeah he has the ankle and back injury that's one two of the he's battling right now ankle and back got an ankle and back injury low Lord have mercy battling a few things there uh but if he doesn't play because of injury I feel like that has to impact him I know injury you can't play when you're injured but that also that that's factor into the history of you know Tony just having injuries all the time we're talking about availability you know best ability is availability so you know they say it all the time you can't make the club in the tub and you know he's been going through these little injuries little Nicks here and there man and that that's hard is when you get that type of uh that reputation it's tough so yeah unfortunate but you know that's the NFL and and we have very we have talented roster and a talented wide receiver room so right that's how it works that's how it works I really do the uh the new kickoff rules Mike Brenan asked right I'm look I'm looking I'm looking at you guys' chat too yeah yeah yeah off rules you have to announce your correct me from wrong but you have to announce your uh your intent to do an onside kick absolutely yes so then that that was the possibility of I'm pretty sure it's still legal correct if I'm wrong but you can do yes you can kick it off the block for a kickoff and try to bounce it right you can still do a drop kick on a kickoff is that correct uh I don't know that that that's I had to I had to look over and see so the reason why I well assume let's assume that it is right yeah you he can do it or you have someone else do it if you look at a rugby kickoff right uh all kickoffs are a drop kick so that means a lot of them you you know any kicker in any kicker for a top team in college can do this right lrz top of the game could can definitely do it um but you drop it you hang it up high it's G to go exactly 12 yards if you wanted to it can go exactly 20 yards it can go exactly 15 yards it'll be outside the hash where it's going to be two guys that can you know two or three guys that that that can get to it um from there so you either have so a rugby player coming and kick that in a you know last second scenario or L lrz actual skill set is being able to get up for the ball right so there are there are plays in rugby where you literally kick pass it to the endzone for a try you you can find him doing this where um it's the ball comes out across spins across the guy first receiver who catches the ball kicks it cross field high and he's going up and getting it at the highest point full extension going up and get it for for the score or on or on a short kickoff getting up you know getting up batting it back so his team can grab it those are all rugby Concepts that I think you know in in the new kickoff in the new kickoff rules could be translated very very well whether it's uh whether it's off the block the you just have to get it to bounce high so if you can get it high in 12 yards you know look at some the look at some rugby guys uh um in ter to get ideas in terms of how to contest on side kicks and win it back because everybody's way closer now if you can withn that if you can win it then you're like at the 35 yard line so so that um Kathy said it before I did is I'm SK I'm skeptical the ball being different may make the difference and so because the rubby ball like it's a little bit more bigger has a little bit more inflation like Marcus bring that thing up uh you know has a little bit more huh is definitely bigger on a football on a rugy ball than it is a football right right it's just just just the mechanics of it um but we're talking professions right we're not talking Joe Schmo do do doing the drop kick um and from experience there's not when you're playing on turf or perfect grass that NFL Fields provide the balance is consistent every single time and so you can train you can train for it right rugby a lot of times is played on you know a wet mud wet muddy ground at the at the amateur levels and you're still getting guys who are hanging it up you know 30 yards you know 30 yards in the air um and EXA and comes down 12 you know 12 yards down um that's function of the rugby ball but you tell somebody to hey you have to be able to perform this to a professional athlete or your or your a I I'll bet good money that that that guy's gonna fig that he's gonna figure out how to do it yeah very very intriguing very intriguing for for clarity uh yes a drop kick is legal NFL can be used for field goal conversions and kickoffs so okay hi
