Big 12 media days: Utah TE Brant Kuithe on new Big 12, facing Colorado, and more

all right so BR I mean there's a lot of talk of the newness of the the Big 12 but you and Colorado coming here together you know um you know each other um but what's your thought of the newness of the Big 12 yeah it's awesome it kind of gains A New Perspective and new things and a new feeling it's kind of a good feeling we've been in the Pack 12 for a long time and I'm excited to play in new environments and new places and just see new faces is there any game you're most looking forward to somebody that you haven't seen before yet um Iowa State for sure actually I don't know for Iowa State Oklahoma State we go play at Oklahoma State I wish we were playing at TCU it'll be nice going to Houston and playing at home and then I haven't played uh Colorado at Colorado with fans in the stand so it's going to be nice and it's going to be a cool environment especially uh how it is now I was going to ask you because you've been around for a long time and I know you've killed Colorado at times but I mean you haven't been able to play the last couple years so what are your thoughts and memories of playing against Colorado yeah it's going to be fun uh it's completely different team now than when it was before and I'm just excited for the new challenge and matchup it's going to be exciting game feel like it's going to be sold out every single person's going to be watching that game I'm just looking forward to it yeah and you mentioned you know you played in Boulder but it was the the co year and it was snowy uh and there was nobody in the stands but um have you seen fome field on TV and seen like the atmosphere and the environment that's there yeah I've seen in um this past year especially at the beginning of the season I I was watching and it's exciting to see and um I'm just looking forward to go play there I just hope it's not snowing but it is what it it is we're used to the snow also and it's just exciting to see that environment and especially all the people that kind of pull up to Colorado games yeah and obviously I'm sure as a competitor you like the teams you're playing to be good right because you want to beat good teams and so Colorado's better than when uh than they were a few years ago is that excite you being able to go against um you know coach Prime and shidu Sanders Travis Hunter guys like that yeah it'll be fun um we kind of just have to treat them just like any other team we can't look at them as as a as this big spectacle just in general just because I don't think it's good for um anything with to do with the game but um as far as playing goes it's going to be exciting uh they have a lot of good players good coaching staff and I'm just excited to see the battle that goes on and then last thing you guys are you know projected to win this conference but that's no big deal that Utah I mean you guys have been projected to win the Pack 12 before so you've come in with expectations does this team even they get phased by that or is it just same approach as always we don't really look into it um I mean media does all that as far as players go we don't really care what is preseason or anything like that because we still have to line up uh game one and go throughout all the games that we play um but at the end of the year the results will show for itself and um hopefully we'll be big CH Big 12 Champs I light I do have one more question because you've been injured Cam's been injured uh you've had a few key guys injured how excited are you to be back and just playing with Cam again and have both of you uh I know last year wasn't Utah standard it was still good eight and five but how how much have you guys talked about no way let's make our seventh year the best one yeah it's crazy you say seventh year but um yeah it's awesome I played in a year and a half it's great to be back on the field it'll be nice being in a stadium full of fans regardless of where we're playing and um I'm just going to appreciate every single moment that I have especially for my last year awesome thanks man I appreciate it appreciate you
