if there's a little filter I apologize so she's performing new woman and Rockstar in one performance I don't know if she's going to yeah does she do both separately does she do like a little bit of we'll talk about the vocals in a bit because that's going to be something that we're going to be obviously talking about a lot I hear the little breaths into the mic so that's how you know that you know this VMA I don't know if every performer had this audio setup but you can tell like this is all just like super live [Music] vocal this is a cool set [Music] [Music] it is not easy to be as stable as she is right now she's walking from the front to the back of the stage she's going she's getting low and she's like doing these little like you know the the cororo has a lot of these like little intricate movements and then she sounds just so just it's just so stable [Music] wow this is so fire oh it's two separate okay it's like a recap of both okay I thought it was going to be like a trans she was going to do a transition this outfit is so giving like [Music] it's wow this is a big St you know what uh Rockstar is definitely one of those songs that is meant to be performed live I like new you know when new woman came out I definitely I think I said in the reaction that I like new woman better than Rockstar but now that I'm watching the live performance it's very it's very neck and neck for [Music] Meck I love how the color of her outfit compliments you know the the fire the the the wall oh oh my God sorry I I feel like I'm missing just key moments of thisis teanese said that's baby a rockar also what's that like like astronaut there's a huge astronaut right in the the side [Music] [Music] wow dude this was so perfectly meticulously crafted like the blocking how the you know her whole team is moving from you know different portions of the stage all all everything from that to the pyot Technics like everything was just so like was every performance like this at the B VMAs that's cool will sing them all so close together l oh this is oh what was for [Applause] a okay they didn't announce what the award was for I maybe it's for like the single of the year or something Lisa [Applause] Rock oh she like [Applause] oh for K oh for K-pop she won the K-pop award for the VMAs and she's wearing a completely different app for this one for the uh for the award portion thank you um MTB and BMA for this award um Rockstar was a um meaningful comeback for me after Lisa um so this is very very special to me you can tell how much this moment means to her because you know she mentioned Rockstar was like this pivotal project in her uh you know she were she made the she used the word comeback obviously that's what it was but this was if there was any sort of comeback that really is like a comeback this is this is really the one because she had full creative control over it like this was her baby you know what I mean and I'm sure like the project that she underw I were important to her as well but like this one she really she was handson you know and when you're handson when you put that much creative investment emotional investment to a project like you can just it means so much more and when I saw her reaction from when she received the award you could tell like I was like I mean that's just her being that's just her humbleness you know like she's so humble she probably you know I'm sure artists when they go to award shows they're like I really want to win this award but like you know there's so many great great other artists that I'm nominated against um yeah what I'm trying to say this is very long tangent I'm just trying to say that you could tell this met a lot to her and thank you to um RCA family and is she signed under RCA maybe they're the distributor world thank you so much for this award um k [Applause] that's that's amazing that's awesome congratulations celisa you truly deserve that award um that I think that performance really said it like that kind of kind of that said it all if you didn't think she deserve that award then you have to then you clearly have not seen the performance thank you MTA AG uh MTA
