looks like a big game mind you they all do at this round soj tell me this who are you looking for in particular here well I'm looking out for a wh and benetta Peter um he may not receive the accolades as some of his better known countrymen but he's renowned for being a very acute finisher and he's only 5'8 so he's not going to do too much damage in the air and his job is about being a pest being nuisance finding space getting behind Defenders making it difficult for him to be picked up because he's tricky yes he'd be my pick too it's going to be all about how they get the best out of him but as you can see we've already started [Applause] here diata and here's benetta benetta oh the keep it's done ever so well benetta is very sporting here to acknowledge the quality of the save a lovely little footballing moment Great Leap there attempts just the wrong outcome that's a little unfortunate he had a lot of people worried [Applause] then Medina and frankovsky Abdul samed Cabo no he wasn't going to let him past Zacharia salisu to golovin well that had the makings of something quite promising but it's fizzled out into [Applause] nothing Ls going wide a lot more often now yeah they're looking to create space in and around that d by by stretching the defense look out for a a late arrival or two from Midfield massive leap goal lws and it's lws who take the [Applause] lead a lovely header but really it was all about the delivery yeah he makes those runs with with great stealth and a ghostlike arrival to to get his head to the ball [Music] [Applause] L break through nice and early just as they wanted it Kaio Enrique shifted up field and that has been [Applause] cleared fiddles it through and they're not going to make any further progress now golovin minamino and here's benetta so what can they make of this Monaco are really in a position where can it finish oh the balls went loose here excellent challenge there uncompromising well the crowd clearly like what they just saw some real noons defending he's got away he's gone down but the referee just tells him to get back up again diata well he was given the time and room initially to hold on to the ball but eventually he was squeezed that bit harder and the task became too much I think he's got to be a little quicker in his distribution then and and get others into the match goes forward frankovsky oh frankovsky diata played out towards the right wing vanderson really added the WID there thanks to his willingness to make the run govin and the shs he's got a goal deep into first half stoppage time a brutal goal that is just remarkable the amount of Bendy got on that well the ball flight may be unpredictable but the predictable part was the technique it screamed goal all the way [Music] [Applause] and that has had and we hit halime a pretty decent watch this and each side has contributed in equal part couple of very good goals for the crowd to enjoy and a game which is right on the Edge at half time it's one in some first half thoughts well we thought this would be close Peter and it's it's proving us right so far they're well matched and it it presents a fascinating battle of wits to see who'll emerge on top or or otherwise it's been a really interesting game up to now and the sides are predictably very well matched hoping perhaps for a little bit more from both parties in the second half but as it stands it's one each and the game has already resumed here change chance [Applause] [Applause] and he just whacks it away Monaco can counter prly here and it's benetta he's found the way through and the balls tries a shot and he he's done it well what a time for the captain to step up and put his team in front again but while it doesn't necessarily guarantee a win here it's a wonderful early boost in this second half look there just wasn't much of a gap to begin with and to find it I think it was a fine drive and I don't think the keeper could have really planned for that I think he's a bit unlucky in that instance [Applause] Monaco get themselves into the lead yeah for me this team seems to find it easier to attack than defend but now they're going to need to dig in as ever another terrific day at the office for him well having that sort of player in your side is reassuring because the rest of the team knows he can make his influence counted any stage it's simply you know the interest value in this game might golovin has got himself a free kick back where it goes and the shot oh great save real class oh that's a sparkling save Absolut absolutely sparkling his reflexes were Ultra [Applause] sharp Kaio Enrique plays it short that's good play golovin golovin good stop that wasn't easy govin sparked a tremendous the stop there and I think it's fair to add he just wasn't expecting it interesting ball it's anyone's ball now Zakaria defending his Corner stubbornly stood up very well to his man Ben Whistle gone that's a foul [Applause] and he's going to Rex oh he's pulled off a fine save well I thought his starting position was good and that helped the keeper to judge the slly the ball and and deal with it [Applause] well cross into the [Applause] [Applause] box tries to get it clear it's come loose moved on forwards and he's lost his man here oh good spread footballing with usually chance with the header and that could have brought them level when it needed something decisive he showed too many mixed [Applause] sigals well there is some activity down on the touch line it seems there's going to be a change I think you have to admire his willingness to keep plugging away but the manager has has done him a big favor I think by by taking him off you know he was looking very very leggy golovin minamino someone looks like he's in need of protection here well he's profited handsomely already in this match and at last their sense of danger has has brought them to a possible solution they may end up with some regret with this tactic but you have to admire their commitment to goals well now here's a good battle bicep to bicep towering header oh just couldn't turn it in well that's a move which shouldn't be allowed a repeat a dribble cross and attempt all too easy [Applause] they're avoiding the blatantly obvious by not getting the ball into the opposition box that's where it has to be frankovsky there won't be another chance
