yo shout out Colin Kaepernick shout out all my freedom fighters out there standing enough for what they believe in today marks the eighth anniversary of when Colin Kaepernick famously took that knee in response to police brutality as we all know if you don't Colin Kaepernick was a football player for the NFL he played for the 49ers and after he took that knee September 1st 2016 he had a very tough time trying to find a job and operating within the NFL no team wanted to sign him because he was controver and we all know that you know when you stand up for black people and black rights that tends to be controversial so did he piss some people off racist and he actually got this idea from someone who was in the military who told him that this would be a way to protest but still be semi- respectful so that's what Colin did he stood on one knee during the national anthem because black people get killed more by the police than white people do it's just facts not to say that this is just a race issue this is a police brutality issue but nonetheless anyways I leave you guys with a quote from the late great Bob Marley it's on my shirt actually better to die fighting for freedom than to be a prisoner all the days of your life and that's real
