nearly half a foot of rain caused the Nashville Reservoir Dam to overflow and flood parts of the Town residents were forced to evacuate their homes officials say residents reporting water in their homes as high as waste deep and one resident requiring rescue in total 200 residencies were considered endangered in risk of flooding at this time officials say evacuation is complete and there were no significant injuries or deaths reported but there is likely to still be after effects because of the flooding there's already a dozen towns that were considered at risk of flooding before the dam overfilled I talked to the Illinois Department of Transportation they told me that six highways have been partially affected with traffic but there's likely to be after effects for a while even without the dam overflowing there was expected to be over a dozen Towns at risk of flooding I talk to the Illinois Department of Transportation they told me parts of six highways have been affected along with multiple local roads in Nashville Illinois I'm Carson Gordy back to you show
