2024 FantasyPros Championship Live Draft-A-Thon Coverage #11

[Music] I met Corporal Casey Owen in um 2005 we selected him as a wounded warrior to come out as our guest um to have a good time with a passionate fantasy football footb players he arrived in a in a wheelchair um 11 months after he was critically injured in Iraq I stayed in touch with him he would reach out to me update me on what was going on in his life um some of the trials and tubulations of his injuries uh he lost his legs he had a brain injury but he kept forging on in his life he joined the par Olympics um he really really tried uh to continue on with his life to serve his country uh to be a good person uh he had a rescue dog which was a service dog for him I lost touch with him around 2013 and then I Googled to see what he was up to maybe with the par Olympics and I realized that he had uh killed himself and so that really impacted me uh for a person that I only met in person for just a couple days of my life I knew I needed to carry on his memory his dedication to to just being a helpful person and um rescue dogs is what I wanted to do I started a 501c3 and I named a Cas to the rescue after him uh there's a couple coordinators and rescue people on the ground in Lexington that go to the shelters and pick up the dogs uh daily as they're being euthanized hang on to them for to the next time that I can get down there in my shuttle I think that my record number on my shuttle was um 92 which included uh lits of puppies uh big dogs little dogs um and um and a couple of [Music] cats best way that anybody in this fantasy football Community can help is to this weekend in the fantasy uh Pros Championship um I'm so honored to be selected as the charity this year the impact is is humongous it's it will be saving thousands of [Music] dolls welcome in ladies and gentlemen to a very special live draft coverage here on the ffpc YouTube I'm your host Aiden l Cory joining me and drafting in this fantasy pros Championship draft out of the eight. Dave trolei we started a little earlier today because we did want to cover why this draft is so important why this draft is so impactful for those who don't know every draft starting from started this morning uh through midnight on Labor Day Monday every fantasy pros Championship draft that fills $50 will be donated to Casey to the rescue um if You' ever played on the ffpc you've probably interacted with Chris Lambert Chris is our customer service specialist she deals with everyone's problem she helps you she fixes uh any issue that you may have uh she is the best of us and along with being uh a longtime employee of the ffbc since 2009 she also uh has started Casey to the rescue she travels from Buffalo uh to Lexington Kentucky about every two weeks 23 times total in 20223 and she saves dogs from kill shelters they're being euthanized um she saves them and then she brings them on the journey up and down the East Coast into even Canada uh to partner shelters where they can get adopted into loving homes so for anyone looking to draft this week and not only can you draft in the fantasy PR Championship take your shot at the million dollars just know uh that that draft that you enter um $50 from each draft will be donated to Casey to the rescue uh because we're trying to save as many dogs as we can as Chris said uh in that video this this initiative this draft a thund weekend will literally help save thousands of dogs Chris is the best man it's it's really hard not to you know if you don't know her you should if you're out in Vegas this year get a chance to spend some time talk to her she has done so much for the fantasy community over the time I mean and what she's doing now off the field as you would say is just remarkable I mean watching that video just is it pulls A tingle to your heart I mean if something like that doesn't like put a smile on your face I I don't know really what was what will be because chrish is you know she's the best she deals with all of us idiots sending her the stupid messages every day about the dumb questions the good in the bed and she does it with a smile on her face and not many people can do that she is a very very very impactful person you know with the ffpc and obviously you know with what she's doing outside so I mean draft this weekend if you're going to do it for nobody else do it for her what she's doing is remarkable so all that aside which is all awesome we are here for live draft coverage and turp we've obviously had you on you've done a couple of baseball tournament drafts live uh We've covered the baseball tournament the fantasy pros championship for weeks the main event you're actually drafting tonight you are helping save dogs you are out of the E spot today what are you kind of most intrigued by seeing obviously uh we talked about on our Tuesday show when we we covered the fantasy PR Championship the CD lamb contract uh Brandon auk signed his contract yesterday uh locking him him in to be a 49er which is music to your ears that's what you've been calling for for weeks you're saying that's thankfully thankfully good news very silly silly kind of uh whole negotiation saying that the same contract by reports was on the table for weeks and that's what he ended up signing but that's neither here nor there but obviously we are now what five days away from kickoff yes sir what are you looking to see in these drafts what do you think with now we've had cutdown day we've had other than Jamar Chase pretty much every hold out situation resolved what are you most intrigued to seeing in these final week of drafting what what has caught your eye the most that you're most intrigued to see come Vegas you're seeing a lot more casuals jumping these fantasy pros championships this weekend that's a good and a bad thing at the same time I mean you're seeing a lot of different structures a lot of guys going a little bit earlier and later than they normally would in in a room of sharks as guess as you could say as you know people that are drafting in June July things like that so that's definitely something I'm paying more attention to obviously I'm on the clock right now so let me get something out of the way um did I miss something so I'm not taking Jamar Chase my pick will be Garrett Wilson um it normally on every you know if this is a one draft type situation I'd be taking AJ brown but you know I already have a bunch of exposure in the fantasy pros Brown so it's more of just a trying to be as flat as I can in these first couple rounds and not getting too crazy with with exposure you know weird things happen injuries things like that I don't want to get caught you know in a situation where I'm 60% AJ Brown and and you know hopefully nothing happens but I love Garrick Wilson love the spot I mean it seems like he's going to get fed the ball from Aaron roders all signs point there I don't about Mike Williams I don't really worry about Mal Kai Corley I like as a player but it's G to take some time there Tyler Conan's a good tight end but he's not somebody I'm worried about you know Bree Hall is gonna get his but you know Gary Wilson to me is a guy that could be this year CD lamb so as much as I want to talk about your Garrett Wilson pick we're not going to because the name you mentioned is more important obviously Brandon auk has resolved his contract situation CD has resolved his that eliminates some of the concerns obviously I think we talked with uh Brian Drake on Tuesday that yeah there are some lingering concerns maybe soft tissue injuries are more likely can they how quickly can they get back up to game speed after missing months of training camp practices Jamar Chase is still not practicing his he's gonna keep dropping down these boards the closer and closer we get to opening kickoff with really maybe no update on his status is he strictly right now do not draft for you or is there wow Marvin Harrison 110 we'll talk about that but Mar Chase is there a point in this draft where you're comfortable taking him or this kind of unknown with his contract situation saying that excuse me holdout situation this contract still being for two more years this is me rambling what are you doing with Jamar Chase when would you draft him is he not even at a consideration in the 789 range for you I mean he's pretty much out a consideration right now for me I'm out on Joe burrow this year so Chase is a guy that I will pass in most drafts right now I mean if he Falls to a certain spot in the 11 12 hole if you know certain guys I like better you know I'll take a shot it's a good value I guess you could say if everything you know all things considered but you got to wonder two years left on his contract you know he's in practicing and then you know walking around it doesn't seem like he's interested is he in shape I mean that that's stuff you got to worry about because even with cidd lamb and auk like yeah they're back and that's great but all right get on the practice field are they have they been training you know football shape is different than going out on track and running and doing all that stuff getting out there getting a hit getting up getting through all that stuff and getting ready for the season you just only thing you worry about those guys is like soft tissue injuries things like that that could derail you know the value some of them like we saw CD lamb in a best ball draft go W eight which is ridiculous overall I mean CD lamb is a top two pick in almost every format you know all things considered so you know with Jamar Chase it's also curious to see what happens with t Higgins if Chase is not ready by the time we DFT and then playing in Hollywood next year next week next year too but what happens with t Higgins does t Higgins move up in drafts does t Higgins get up in the second round if you know Jamar Chase ain't gonna be there or does he get up you know in the two three turn type of situation it's definitely something to Monitor and definitely something to watch and definitely something I'll be looking at it's certainly I mean we've had weird situations every year um whether I mean Jonathan Taylor Josh Jacobs last year Chase one is odd because as as as a said he still has two years left on his contract so he's holding out early he's dealing with a notoriously like stickler of an owner uh in Cincinnati which isn't gonna concede to him and obviously Zack Taylor had a press conference where he was saying oh nope he's gonna practice he'll be ready week one and then 24 hours later he's walking that back which is something changed there or there was a miscommunication either way it's it's not making fantasy players feel good about him obviously right now obviously we had known about the hold out right early on but you didn't think much of it he's going he was going in the 104 105 and then last couple last couple days really the last week it's really become a 108 109 110 type guy because of that uncertainty but I'm sure drafters are still selecting him knowing the upside that he presents if he does get back for week one or even maybe misses just a week or two there and they're getting a good value TP you're about to be on the clock here Wilson already in the fold obviously can't give too much away with Team n possibly listening but what are you looking to do here in the second round there's one guy that I really want I mean this is this is a little bit of a range where I'm I'm I'm a little Overexposed to a certain player who already got drafted you could probably fill in the blank who that is so I'm glad he got drafted so I don't have to make the pick again because I have so much of him um but to me there's one guy I like I have a build that I have in mind that I'm going to try to accomplish we'll see if it works out but this is definitely a range where you know I like a couple players some players not so much that was not the player so that's good so my pick will be Drake London um I just think the upside there is very very high I think there's a big drop off after London you know when we get to like the Cooper cups and the neighbors of the world I just think London's in a tier by himself and obviously in that let me go find the Pick and Pay attention all right let's get Jerry lundon and then he's a guy that you know I keep it's like a One V one versus Marvin Harrison and Marvin Harrison's the guy that I was talking about of just in this range I've been drafting a lot from like five to eight this year and you know sometimes in the four sometimes if I'm if I'm 10 11 you know I get the Marvin Harrison on the way back and it just makes too much sense to me I just love that that Murray Harrison stack this year it's my highest St you know and it's one that it's really hard for me to pass because I just think that their defense is not very good and they're going to be throwing the ball behind a ton in an aggressive division Seattle's no no uh Seattle's no slouch um and we obviously know the 49ers going to put up points and then Stafford and the boys in La they are also no joke Drake London is there so you're taking him at the 205 another guy who I feel is has almost a split opinion because it's there's some people who want to are fully dismissive of it was a poor coaching staff that held him back um and this new coaching staff Zack Robinson coming from the Sha MC tree Kirk Cousins there as the quarterback that he's just going to break out but there's also a thing uh another subset of the fantasy Community which kind of feels as though I think this guy is getting a little bit overrated relative to the production he's shown in past years and we're putting a little too much on this hypothetical situation obviously you taking at the 205 so you're a Believer but just looking at was there any other receivers you considered or or you it was a tight end if it was if it wasn't London it would have been McBride or concade um they would have been my pick I would have passed on puka I'm just Cooper cup over over over puka this year he's not a guy I have a you know a Sherer there but not a ton I just think it's going to be cups show this year you know with Stafford hun 100% healthy after being just totally banged up last year with pretty much every injury you could name um puka makes a lot of sense I mean if if you're a Believer and you're getting him where he's fallen it's the same thing in these leagues where you're drafting with a little bit more casuals than the same players you know everybody's name people get scared of the queue people get scared of the you know the questionable tag next to somebody's name this close to the season it gives people you know angst and it in some ways you know gives you better Malik neighbors wow I was about to say TP you will will cut off whatever point we were going to make because this is more important let's just say folks it's your guy man get your see here's the thing Dave Dave Troi said months ago that Malik neighbors will be a second round pick come Vegas and while maybe not consistently a second round pick you're seeing him this this this may be the highest he's gone in this format uh over the last couple of days it is 210 previously 208 let go get your guide time we've talked about neighbors so extensively turp I I don't think we we need to dive into him anymore but yeah I mean it's just crazy the what Buzz can do right couple preseason highlights it's just he's worth the height that's just what it comes down to I mean he's could you see Wilson like putting up solid numbers uh not ever maybe I mean like it's just like I see he's talented he'll have his games but he won't reward his draft price at the 208 because poor quarterback play will just hold him hold him back that's just what it feels like we're saying fair I mean it's fair but the way I look at it is like I like Malik leamers that much I'm drafting him all over the place and I don't I'm not worried about I would I don't know if I'd push him here because I he pretty much is stuck in that top third top half of third round so if I'm picking in that round I probably push it and but if I love him as much as you know some people do why not go get him I mean you're seeing guys that are kind of stale right now the Devonte Adams Derrick Henry's of the world just seems like everybody's just avoiding them like the plague and yeah that could be a massive massive mistake but you look at a guy like neighbors where does Neighbors get drafted if he's with Justin Herbert first round like like Marvin Harrison that's Marvin Harrison yeah are you surprised are you surprised and this a silly question Marvin Harrison is if I if I can I can I share about Marvin Harrison and your Marvin Harrison is I believe you said your most owned player in ffpc uh correct are you surprised I know it sounds silly this is one of the first drafts in a while I've actually seen him first round he's always in that that to two are you surprised he's not in that first round more I'm not surpris I'm surprised he's not going more at the onew turn the 11 12 slot when these top 10 guys that most people like more than everybody else they go so it's definitely something that is a little bit confusing to me um but I do do see you know why but you know people are worried he's a rookie but he's he's not a rookie he's just so polished and with Kyler Murray I just that team just something about that team this year fantasy wise you there's even guys that I like that are deeper that I just think make a ton of sense on your rosters because again defense is not going to be good they're in a division where they're going to have to score they're not gonna they're not going to be winning defensive battles so it's definitely something to watch let's see here what's going on on the clock Josh Jacobs there there's the Josh Jacobs there's the Josh Jacobs push we were talking about with the AJ Dylan IR news with the Marshon Lloyd obviously hamstring that's been known there's a Josh Jacobs bump up that we were kind of anticipating on our Tuesday stream that didn't occur Josh Jacobs RB 9302 any any quick thought is that where he's going to be going or do you think he's still going to have a wide range as a player that a lot of people just don't like clicking the button on realistically I think it's most people don't like clicking the button on them but I think as this late you get late in the process everything you see even though Matt laflor does not like to give you know a running back a ton of carries he likes to split it up who's he splitting it up with right now Emanuel Wilson who's Emanuel Wilson I'm not sitting here saying he's an NFL running back so he's good at something but do you really think Matt laflor is going to go into the opening couple games with Lloyd until he's 100% does he even trust Lloyd like Lloyd has I love Lloyd the reports before Lloyd got hurt was this is a red shirt year yeah so not inspir what happens then what happens like it there's so many questions to me it's Josh Jacobs right now if you're starting if you're starting like if I'm taking G Wilson and Drake London I would have very much considered Josh Jacobs if it came to me because again a patent it's saying that I I should have named my team name in Vegas click the button you have to click the button with these guys so like all these like zero RB guys who get crazy and I've done it too myself made some mistakes with it you have to click the button to where Josh Jacobs is to me as set as you can be you know for at least the first half of the season and if he continues to play like he did a couple years ago why not why can't he be a top four or five running back this year it's in the range of possibilities especially with everything falling into place I mean Jesus you got you know AJ Dylan being out they added nobody Emanuel Wilson marshan Lloyd who we love but he's kind of like the rookie wall right now so it just makes too much sense for me at least and let's see I'm about to be on the clock there's two options so either one would work it's a question of which way let's see what everybody else is doing after me and then for for those just tuning in serier is drafting in the fantasy P championship but a special fantasy Pur Championship as it is our draft ofth weekend every draft Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday every fantasy Pur Championship draft that fills $50 will be donated to Casey to the rescue a volunteer organization which saves dogs from kill shelters and transports them around the country uh to partnered animal shelters to help them find a new home tent Devonte Smith Devon Smith in the last like two weeks it's a seems an every draft thing every draft thing it it really is it seems like an every draft type of move for me right now with Devonte Smith I mean G to be playing out of a slot more I know people think dodson's there to play out of the slot I think it's the opposite I think they're gonna absolute move Brown and Smith in the slot and Smith's an alpha let's call it what it is I mean I love AJ Brown and I have tons of both of them and you know people can call me at Homer all you want but I'm a k mo supporter you know I'm a Jalen Herz supporter and I really think that the passing game in Philly is going to be lights out this year and everything in Camp is showing me that's going to be the case and also I think their defense is very suspect so very worried about the defense not worried about the offense at all and Devon Smith to me this is where I think he's going to get moved up I would move him up probably if I was drafting a main event today I'd probably move him up like all the way to the two three turn it's I know you got out AJ brown people are like well he's a second fiddle but he easily could be the top guy so to me you know Devon Smith makes a ton of sense here it fits what I'm trying to build it's kind of like I thought a couple other guys would fall here um but I like Smith more than almost anybody in this range so it's no issues whatsoever I just this is a great start in my opinion you know for a draft like this I'm going to have to you know mix it up here with a couple other positions here soon but I'm also not worried about that because there are a ton of guys that I have on the board that should be coming back to me that I'm ready to dance with ter a little breaking news I mean obviously our Focus this whole weekend is is both the main event and the fantasy P Championship to help our friend Chris Lambert and help save do but breaking news for those watching ffpc basketball tournament has sold out almost uh almost a week before the season so love every second of that I mean to the 11,664 teams competing in the baseball tournament myself Dave trolei we wish you best of luck in your Pursuit just get hopefully second place and you know I'm sitting there with one of my own teams or one of my many partner teams out there um and we take down that prize that'd be great um just get to the finals and live the dream is all I'm looking forward to doing so real quick as obviously your your pick is going to be up here before we know it here in the fourth round when you're doing these fantasy purse Championship draft and really any draft Main Event best ball when you're doing a build where you're not getting one of those kind of let's say the like the big three tight ends even big four big five are you confident enough in your abilities to to just find some late round Dart throws or is there let's say I'm gonna I'm gonna put you in a player shoes who does less drafts they they only do a couple do you think it's more of a need to hop on one of those Elite tight ends if they're not doing dozens of draft I'm gonna make a statement but I'm going to wait for that statement till after my next pick please do we'll do it's a it's it's not I wouldn't say it's controversial statement I just think it's a statement that makes a lot of sense this year with all things considered but we'll wait for a couple picks here see what happens sure I'll ask you a different quick question go for it Jaylen wad unknown injury for like weeks how slowly starting to drop honestly surprised it hasn't dropped him sooner he goes at to 311 is that too high saying that we have no clue what his availability may be and no clue what the injury is and every year you see some sort of player like this where he comes into Camp you know there's a lot of you know top three you know third round pick in most formats there's a ton of things that make a lot of sense about him but he gets some injury you know you don't know what it is you don't know if you know is it gonna hold is it going to carry over into the season like and you get a practice like you got a week till the season starts it's time to start getting worried so it's definitely something to worry about I think it's definitely something to monitor um he's fallen in dra as you should because like I said people hate the Q button more news is coming out people are saying let's come on let's get one more pick there's somebody I really really want here that I had in a queue that I was going to take on the last pick let's see if it makes it I think I I I before you pick it if they're there I'm gonna I have a guess for who it may be I think you're gonna guess the wrong player if they're there but there there's two so either one I two I have two I have two guesses I have two guesses you if your guest is the same position you would be correct okay they are the same position they are the same position there's one I want just a little bit based off structure a little bit more than the other but um let's see the hardest part about doing live draft coverage here uh for the audience when someone is drafting is those 30 seconds while you're just trying to fill the space when the team before turp is trying to make no no pressure Rowdy boys but we are eagerly awaiting this pick to see how it uh P tur he's gonna go all the way down to the wire too this guy it was pit right it was Kyle pittz would overall be my pick but the guy was Evan Ingram okay so IAS it was piter Ingram that's where I was guessing but I was wondering build when you said the build wise I wonder if you were gonna bump pits up because of London yeah the reason why I like Ingram over pits in this system is I have London already I'm not not sitting here saying I won't do it in some but I just like taking one shot on certain teams because something fluky happens and something happens to cousins and panks doesn't you know turn out to be a player then what happens then you're you know you're done and I I know a lot of people don't believe in that mentality in baseball it's different I love stacking team stacking as much passing guys as I can but when you're clicking the button you know if they have an off week you're probably going to be struggling just it's not it's not something I do a ton you know I'm going to do probably by the time it's all said and done T of these yeah so you know maybe a little bit more as you know 10 of these this week overall we'll say that for another day but I think I'm I think I have a a fantasy pros draft every single day until the Sunday of the season starts well let me just tell you T that means that at least all your draft that you're doing through Labor Day again I'm just going to keep repeating it because it's the most important thing that means you are saving dogs $50 from anything I can do to help Chris Chris is you're not only helping Chris Lambert for those who know her fbc's customer service specialist who on the side every weekend she drives her shuttle down to Kentucky best save dogs from the kill shelter and then while doing that she answers your emails of just just blubber and just no one deserves it more and Beyond on that you're saving dogs dogs are the best dogs you're helping her you don't need any other reason and you're drafting fantasy football fir milon win a million bucks been plenty of League prizes on the way so get in drafts this weekend get these filled up I mean if you're if you're a one drafter or a 100 draft guy get in here and mix it up I mean some of these boards are way different than you saw a couple weeks ago a couple months ago it's worth taking some chances it's it's worth just you know it's worth just just draft oh as Sean said the video which we actually played before we started our draft cover I hit him in the fields uh Sean let me tell you making that video there was a little dust in the room little dust you some tickles it was a it's a really impressive cause back to the draft real quick TP putting you just on the spot Brandon iuk let's say he falls to you at the uh 405 does that make the decision between Evan Ingram and him harder or was it always Ingram and then yeah please please please please I was going to say beyond that what do you make of Brandon auk not Rising this is a guy who was a second third round pick before the hold out now he's signed he's back in San Francisco and he's remained stable as a 403 early fourth that doesn't make sense to me I don't think it makes any sense either because like you look at auk you saw the numbers he put up last year extremely efficient you know a lot of guys you know say like oh was too efficient that can't continue you know Debo is going to be the guy this year I don't agree I put out a tweet a long time ago people are going to regret not having more aband and iuk do I wish he would have gotten the Camp two weeks ago of course I would have loved that but it didn't happen so to me you know auk should be going higher like auk Devon Adams auk wad auk Samuel you know auk should be up there to me right behind Drake London yeah I mean I think we we we've seen it before in a couple instances where these players they have rightful concerns with drop them down the situation is resolved it's back to the status quo of what it was yet their ADP kind of remains level and it doesn't make sense you would think they would kind of instantly jump back up I mean we even talk about Rashi rice who dropped down and it was such a gradual rise back up to getting to the point where he was getting drafted like Brandon iuk in just a couple of days I bet is a early third round pick so to team 10 honestly I don't agree with you and the reason I say that is because don't think he's gonna get that high the reason because people are still scared that like you know he just got he's still not pra I believe I saw same argument for that's the same it's the same argument but you've seen cidd ceiling you haven't seen iuk ceiling yet I mean cidd could be does iuk have wide receiver one upside I don't think so I get that but my point is like Brandon iuk before the hold out really took place this was a guy going at the two three turn and now he yes so I understand a dip because of a lack of training camp and a worry about what shape he's in and the potential for an increased chance of uh soft tissue injury but doesn't that still make him at least a mid third round pick he's not gonna be he's not gonna be but I don't see him getting up there so you think he stays in the early fourth for the next week I think by the time draft next week I think he stays behind Debo yeah I don't think he gets wow I mean sharp drafters like player a player like myself I'm taking him over I I mentioned all the names that I'm taking over you know Nico Collins Damonte Adams Jaylen Wild Samuel Mike Evans Rashid rice is is a talk it's a fair talk I feel like but I mean I don't I don't know man I I I I thought he should be going up but I also thought Kyle pitch would be up there and he's not and and I don't Kyle pitch was a second round pick for a week or so two weeks or so he got up there early third was like you know his cut off now he's going to the fourth and what did and and I've always been a Kyle Pitts hater I i' I've said that last year when two years when everybody was all taking him in the first round one of those guys you never to any pin you never had a pits coin I was never a pits coin guy this year I am a pits score I said he's my tight end one you know he and in my statement going back to it let me make my next pick and then I'll say what my statement is because I don't think it's that crazy people might say it's a crazy statement but you know think it is I I'll take something real quick wise you're couple picks away on last thing I'm Brandon iuk you know TF he should be going over Deo Samuel because maybe there's a slight acclamation ramp up period he's a better receiver than Deo Samuel he is a better route Runner yeah I think he's a more popular Target of pery he takes less hits obviously Debo we all talk Jordan Mason in theory Debo is probably their RB to um Brandon IU is the one who got paid Debo is the one who probably won't be a 49er next year Brandon iuk is the one you have if he stays in this fourth round like tpus predicted that's a value that every team sh Hammer the bigger worry about 49ers for those concerned maybe about what I could be or all that the bigger concern is Trent Williams and the Niners splits massive concerns because it doesn't seem like he's anywhere close to playing uh with his contract situation they are bad when he doesn't play so that's honestly uh the most reasonable argument I'll hear about not fading Niners but lowering Niners on your draft board um and how does that affect Christian m that's not talk there's no Trent Williams um I saw a report the other day I think it was yesterday I don't know if it's confirmed or not so I'm not going to you know say it's you know I haven't he's not 100% practicing yet mcaffrey and yeah I think the thing with mcaffry is that just them the on the clock snipe that was a double snipe I was gonna take Walker and Kamar you know just to start the room um this more while you think on your pick I I'll real quick on CMC I don't think he's practicing in full but by all accounts they're just they don't want to rush him back it's not an actual concern he'll be bet ready for week one it's just you know they're taking their star player uh and making sure that he's okay and they don't reag gravate anything so I don't I wouldn't look too much into that Joe Mixon is the pick I was planning on it's it's different bit a bit of an icky pick for you or or definely pick I was going to take W Kamar they were going to be my two selections mixon's a guy that hasn't been talked about at all since injuries I mean he was a guy that was getting steamed up heavy you know a guy that was getting drafted a ton and now he kind of like fell off I think he's in a great spot He Could Fall In The End Zone you know 10 plus times and there's really nothing behind him like are you really danian Pierce that's not happening and cam acr's like yeah that's a good story and I hope he's back and that's cool but like if mixon's 100% he's GNA I mean they traded capital for him you know he's gonna get the work is he 100% that's a question but to me in a build like this if this is best ball Joe Mixon is not my pick I can tell you that right now it would be one of the receivers or or another tight end not not probably not tight end but definitely another receiver there's a ton of them right now but with this build I think it makes a lot more sense to go you know obviously the dream of Jaylen Herz didn't happen I thought about you know Ferguson KD Josh Allen if he would have fell would have been my selection just to you know I think it would have been you know uh Great Value and then Ken Walker and Kamar are two guys I liked I probably would have taken Terry McClaren if this was a different draft but again you don't want to get too Overkill at the position because you can get yourself in a major major Hassle and quarterback is is not something that I'm considering anytime soon because if I didn't get Herz or you know Josh Allen didn't fall to me you're starting to see CJ stad move up Lamar Jackson's kind of falling a little bit in these drafts I don't really get why I'm not a Lamar guy this year but it seems like there's seems like Team 11's setting up a a z flowers Lamar turn so we'll see Joe Mixon it has me a little flustered so we have to we'll see if tur can recover I will say we always say like every draft is different adps all over the place you'll never know what you get that's why people watch this that's why people drafted multiple fantasy Pro Championship drafts specifically the quarterbacks like it is absurd how different each draft is like we've seen Allen Herz Mahomes at each point throughout the last month kind of have a hold on that qb1 Crown uh you see some where they the first quarterback has been taken until the mid to late 5ifth you see some where Mahomes Allen Herz go and then the qb4 like Lamar Jackson CJ goes into seventh or eighth we see in this draft CJ strag goes two rounds over ADP there is literally you cannot oh when he Snipes the Lamar Jack safe flowers that you're predicting I will say this snack the snack sniping main events in fantasy pros I don't think it's a big deal the stack sniping I've been seeing lately is people are just doing it deliberately and I don't I can I can tell talk a whole show about how just ridiculously stupid that is in some cases but we'll get off that topic I just finishing my thought is just you could not predict at all what's going to happen with quarterbacks it it literally they're all over the place you go into the draft and Ninth round Kyer Murray it's absurd it's sixth round Joe burrow and 10th SE third round third round Josh Allen fifth round Josh Allen it makes no sense it really hon I wouldn't say completely but that's probably one of the bigger things that impacts how you build out your drafts because if you see these quarterbacks flying you're going to have to move them up but there are some where some of these teams look really really good in comparison to other fantasy pros drafts because there are some leagues where quarterbacks don't start going off the board until the fifth sixth round so everyone has a run on running backs receivers and tight ends and they can all cap it off with Elite quarterbacks because everyone in the league kind of waited so it's definitely an interesting development that's occurred this year that's different than past years where we see at least a slate of elite quarterbacks kind of maintain their spot in the second third rounds this year it's it's absurd to be frank and I believe looking at it and obviously as you said it's not as important for a fantasy P championship at weekly manage of all the quarterbacks drafted I think pretty much all of them are naked just no Stacks unless you want to say Mahomes and peo um which that stack I don't understand at all I mean I I mean it might not be an inent is it an intentional stack it could just be they wanted Mahomes as their qb1 I guess they could be trying to build a you know Xavier worthy team here coming up um also makes sense I just think in a field like this a big field like the fantasy pros it just makes so much sense to try to get a stack because when you're getting there to the end the final three shoot at you want to try to maximize your points all over I mean you know you're trying to win if if you're trying to get in there just to like you know come in you know the money I guess cool you know everybody's different but okay there goes Xavier worthy so I'm on the clock this is an easy selection for me um let's make it and then we'll talk about it you're high in the Titans offense so that will Calvin Ridley I mean it was it was pretty much an easy pick for me um it just makes too much sense you know DeAndre Hopkins banged up we don't know if he's gonna be ready for the season he should be all things positive about will Le I hope he's ready because that just makes the pick even better to me um I don't know if Ridley's a full Alpha but with Hopkins taking some coverage on the other side it this team's going to throw the ball a ton you know I love the running backs I love Pard I love Spears I love all those guys but but they're going to throw the ball a ton and will Lis in a in in a in a division that's going to need again to put up points Titans defense is gonna be good I mean they added a lot of pieces a lot of you know positive you know things on the defense but Anthony Richardson CJ stad that offense they're going to need to score points Jacksonville who I love this year you know it it makes a ton of sense to add as many pieces in that division as you can because it's going to be one that's going to put up a lot of points and one that I want as many pieces as I can from and Ridley and Hopkins are two of my highest own guys obviously will Lis he's up there in my top three quarterbacks right now I think he's second last time I checked I try to do as we get closer to this season a little exposure test just to make sure I'm not you know too heavy on guys but also high enough on them so today I looked and will Evis is number two on my list what exposure are you most worried about I that's just like an interesting yeah like which when you look at your exposure here on the ffpc which one you're like like I I I I I stand behind it but yeah that one that one concerns me that I have this much or this little uh of blank player this little is Xavier worthy I mean I just am very fearful of it it's it's probably the one thing that I would say keeps me up I got a ton of drafts till the season start I'm going to add as much savor worthy as I can and and that Thursday night game could be one of two ways like if Xavier worthy goes nuts then I'm gonna have to just sweat it all season if Xavier worthy does nothing which I'm hoping I can add more cheap pieces because people are gonna be like oh my God he had the perfect setup and didn't do anything let's let him go down in drafts so I'm worried about Xavier worthy the one that I'm exposed to a lot that I'm probably worried about is probably Chris Godwin I mean he's a guy that I have a ton of okay everything seems positive going to the slot but I still worry about Baker Mayfield is he just going to throw the ball to Mike Evans every time he gets a chance you know is Jaylen McMillan gonna take away you know plays Godin in the snap you know he's if he's healthy he's getting up there in age that's definitely a worry you know new offensive coordinator so my hope is new offensive coordinator they get him in the slot where he's the best and he flourishes that's probably my highest you know I don't worry about Chase Brown we I've talked him a million times at this point it's a known that I love him um Patrick Mahomes is probably another guy that I don't have a lot of it's not because I don't want him it's because I just feel like I just keep missing him I buil I buil a team with him with rice the other day that I just absolutely love um but Mahomes is probably the one quarterback that I'm probably the most worried about because he could throw 50 touchdowns this year easily with that skill set he has and obviously the receivers that they've added they're probably the three guys that I mean we could talk about some other guys as we get you know down the road um there's nobody that Crystal L is a guy I was not really on a ton but I've been adding some just because this I hate the Saints I hate Dennis Allen but like there's nobody else there it's him and Kamar and if they can figure out a way to stay healthy same thing with Kamar you know if they can figure out a way to stay healthy all season and be targeted you know a lot more it makes a lot of sense we saw Kamar did you know last year I mean he was he was on a couple of my main event teams and he was a absolute monster and 17.5 you know PPR points uh got a got a question for you is uh from BW here in the chat which is kind of just not really question is he was saying David and joku will be interesting uh to see what happens this year uh seeing that either he must be drafted or bust and he has no shares what do you make of in joku obviously we always talk about obviously the the top five tier of of Kelsey leapor McBride can Kate Andrews and there's a little tier breaking then you have your your pittson Ingram but and and joku is part of that next run of the Fergusons the KD the enus where it's they maybe don't have the upside of the the top seven but they've also shown in the past an ability to be really Elite scoring tight ends on certain weeks so just in your opinion guy we haven't talked about a lot what do you make of David and joku within that Browns offense I mean the Deshawn Watson thing is definitely a worry I mean is that guy ever going to figure it out I hope he does because David njoku is a guy that I've targeted a lot in this in this range you know him and Brock Bowers are two guys that you know make a lot of sense the statement I was gonna make and I'm I'm gonna make it before I forget all things considered I would take Evan Ingram Kyle pittz Jake Ferguson George KD Bowers and njoku over and I know it's six versus five over Mark Andrews dton k k McBride leaport and Kelsey All Things Considered where they're being drafted and just system like Evan Ingram should be getting to me he should be getting drafted in the second round of ffpc drafts Kyle Pitts if it's not this year it's never going to be we know the talents there we know everything there I mean new offensive really good running back receiver tight end core and then they cap it off with with both Kyler and Anthony Richardson two guys who I project to finish as top five quarterbacks with qb1 overall potential with the rushing upside uh good skill weapons to help them actually higher on Kyler than Anthony Richardson which I had kind of pivoted from early in the year uh as you are now on the clock Jordan love goes right before you what are you looking at uh you have five receivers two running backs and the tight end on your team right now what's the pick in the ninth round the pick in the ninth round will be Brian Robinson um a guy that I like a lot this year I just think that in Cliff Kingsbury's offense um you know I'm definitely worried not that much about Austin ekler I know Anthony ly happens just keep pushing there's a guy that I have in mind that you know fits um yeah let's do it um DeAndre so remember like how I was saying with iuk about how it's you know these situations are concerning a drops them and then their price doesn't go back up to what it was DeAndre Hopkins I know there is still some uncertain DeAndre Hopkins is playing week one by all accounts prob I mean if not it might be a onewe type of situation the downside the name that always sticks to me it's a silly example because they're different situations but Jerry Judy in 2023 was the same Jerry Jerry Jerry Judy was like a fourth round pick he gets hurt uh Falls to like the six seventh and then when reports are coming out like yeah he's really probably only going to miss one week might even be back week one but his ADP never reset to what it was just saying it kind of feels the same way with DeAndre Hopkins who was like kind of going in the seventh round range and now you're getting him consistently in the ninth sometimes even 10th round for a guy who is going to be in an improved a pass heavy offense who has a good connection with Levis despite his age and he's going to be there for week one even if there is maybe a little bit of a rampup period for him he is a guy who the player profile I don't love but you're taking dandre Hopkins is essentially what wide receiver 50 as the second to last pick of the ninth round sign a great value it's a ridiculous value and one that I I love at this point I'm probably not taking enough him I I know he's getting up there in age worried about the injuries I get it is is he going to break down but that offense is going to throw the ball a ton I've said that since day one I said will Lis is going to be this year's Jordan love um DeAndre Hopkins is going to benefit from that and there's going to be plenty of jump balls that we know he's one of the best if not the best in the game at it and you know with Calvin Ridley on the other side Tyler boy in the slot they have a lot of weapons there with both running backs who have past catching ability who both look like they have some extra juice in the preseason there's definitely a guy that I want here so I want to wait till we pick is while we wait to pick T you and me talked about this backstage before the show and I kind of want to ask the chat because genuinely some of you guys in the chat maybe all of you are smart like very well could be smarter than me like you guys are knowledgeable you know your stuff you show it when discussing with us in the chat my question to you and TP please pick and then we'll discuss your pick but my question is we often hear about age Cliffs right and and wide receivers running backs after a certain age they fall off and you're supposed to fade is there going to be examples Christian mcaffrey this year or do you think we are going to see a continued trend of like running backs around 28 that just fall off or or or running wide receivers hit their early 30s it's just an interesting thing because it's so rooted in draft mythology that you stay away from some of these older guys but so many of them are starting to disprove it it's an interesting take TP you took one of the biggest risers uh in the fantasy P Championship over the last couple weeks all the buzz in Dallas Rico D we you and season baby it's Rico season you you and me so how Beyond Rico how are you you you admit it you're a little bit rattled by your Joe Mixon pick can Walker and Alvin not anymore I have no cares in the world I I got so you feel good about obviously Chase Brown I'm always so you feel good about this running back room the running back room I would love this running back room in any draft I do to be honest with you you know what if you would have switched out mixim for Kamar Walker or or mixon's fine I mean if mixon's 100% there's nothing not to like about him so no issues whatsoever there um you know my running back room is very and korm just kind of is the clear rb2 is that what pushed darl over him yeah I mean and also back to exposure Blake horm is one of my highest own players okay you know in the fantasy pros that I've drafted so far so those two guys in this range I'm going to try to mix in as much of them as possible if I had one draft my pick would have been Blake Corum but it's another type of situation where I don't have as much Rico in these drafts so I'm just trying to add as much as possible you certain situations the coin flip I look at the exposures and I pretty much go you know I I don't want to get caught with 100% of one player or you know 75% on one player because freak stuff happens injuries what if he just doesn't what if Ken Williams this then you have a dead pick you got a pretty much 10th round draft pick that's never going to see the field you know obviously I don't believe that's going to happen but if you're something I learned from Todd Burrows last year I'll give him a shout out is don't get too Overexposed to a certain player because yeah obviously you see the the money signs if it all works out but if it doesn't work out and you're 75% you know Trey Benson and Trey Benson never sees the field you look at all the guys that are going around Trey Benson and they're going to be you know fantasy forces or guys who are going to put in week you know especially in baseball you and then since then dowo Corum Benson Julia ml um we're Chase Brown all the way but this is a question for you as someone who plays in dozens of drafts at some point is you want to balance your Chase Brown shares which is okay I have if you're gonna say Bal some with Zach Moss yeah not a ton I have I have drafted you know Zach Moss a couple drafts um mostly the reason is because I didn't get Chase Brown um it's just a bet against myself but it's never going to be a let's just say 7030 exposure it's going to be a lot worse than that it's probably like a 9010 at this point if if if I lose I lose but the good thing about if I lose with Chase Brown which I hope I don't because it'd be very expensive for me is where Chase Brown is going you know most of the time he's my rb2 he's probably never my rb1 on any build so as my rb2 I'm drafting enough depth behind him that if things go Haywire I'm fine with it so not something I'm worried about I I gotta there's not gonna be much Zach moss in his you know could he score 10 touchdowns of course but Chase Brown is is an extremely talented player and you know they believe in him if they didn't add smashi Peron not that he's a super star I know that name has been the most talked about name on Twitter this week but it's Chase Brown season I got to ask you if you could take a look at the draft board obviously you're liking your team build Chad our Josh Jacobs one from uh what 2022 yeah let's just say I don't think it was overall Josh Jacobs that it was um more just where he was selected sure but still that that's the most egg on our face we've had in uh doing one of these streams by doing these you're gonna get plenty of that so it's just you take your lv's where you take your L's yeah we got to make takes what's the point of doing not a sophomore in college I would have been on here hyping up Lyn Bowden I would have been hyping up Benny Snell in 2019 so there is absolutely bias to it Ray Davis to me as I said if I take away my personal bias it still feels like an amazing value in the 12 round for and I mean this a very good football player with intriguing High upside pass catching skills that he showcased in his last year at Kentucky a guy who's running with the first team has a really good style that fits that Buffalo offense while James Cook is talented I don't think we've James Cook will never be fully in any fantasy player circle of trust as good as he was last year that there's a reason he's still going in the fourth round despite the success he had last year is that there's still a weariness to him and I think a guy like Ray Davis is almost certainly going to siphon off touches and will slowly gain a bigger and bigger role and then if James Cooks gets hurt that's a smash play so brilliant pick nothing you said nothing you said was literally off there I pretty much agree with everything you said I mean I have a lot of James Cook but not like crazy crazy um but it just makes a ton of sense everything you said just fits perfectly what what what about Jared lorensen the Hefty Lefty before my time but a legend bring jar lenen Sean green Hefty Lefty so Sean green asked the question earlier much CMC it's not by choice today was the first time I got a chance earlier to draft him and and I did you know number one I'm on the clock so let me get this out of the way too just another lottery ticket I'm trying to get as many as them before this running back room gets real dark um Kaman vadal I don't trust Gus Edwards I don't trust DK you know I don't trust um JK Dobbins you know I know they just added Hassan H Haskins who was a little bit of a guy I liked I think it was two years ago it might have been last year I don't remember um as a backup when Derrick Henry was there he's a Michigan guy you know definitely a guy that like I would keep on a radar you know when it comes to deep Fab and stuff like that just because he is a Michigan guy so he has that familiarity with Harbaugh but I think Vidal is the most juice in that back field he's my sixth running back on a team that you know I guess you could say running backs the weakness right now um but taking as many lottery tickets in these rounds as I can because when I'm building a team like this with the five receivers that I have not really worried about receivers there's plenty of other high upside receivers that will be coming off the board here soon that I like same thing in the tight end room uh there goes one of them right there that's a good pick with Jaylen McMillan he's definitely a guy I've been targeting you know a good amount um so yeah looks like I'll be hold on still kind of far away I gotta I gotta ask you TP real quick go ahead with a guy like Vidal and this is about n imagine I'm sure it's dependent on what happens with your team with injuries under performance over performance like a guy like Vidal you're drafting the 13th round in your just general sense if you're averaging kind of all your years how long do you hold on to him like it let's say he's clearly running back three but when you know Dobbins has injury problems you know Gus Edwards isn't the most you know exciting Sexy Back Vidal at some point if something happens to Dobbins or Edwards you expect the doll to get an opportunity essentially the question is like how long can you wait on him is there like a when you're picking him is there a set time or is this kind of like yeah I mean if I don't see it after a couple of weeks he he will be a cut candidate for me he I mean you gotta give him a little time I mean you gotta get him a couple weeks see what's going on in that back field if somebody takes that job you pretty much cut the guy I mean it's it's tough to say you know how long you hold him for because it all depends on what your roster's looking like guys get hurt if you need that roster spot maybe you give up on him a little early he is my six running back so like you know I have the you know the flexibility of you know waiting a little bit longer because we all know the running back it gets ugly out there you know after there's going to be a drop off here and you know especially in these Main Event in fantasy pros you see guys that um fall a little bit more hold on one second I gotta make a pick in another League look at you multitasking I'm trying to multitask right now there's people who do dozens there's people who do I don't know like I get I get tweaked doing two three my one just ended so that's good uh good good thing I'm going listen yeah before defense that's that's I wanna I want to get to a question perar 99 asking TP would you drop uh audri Esty as rb9 for McMillan as his wide receiver seven I assume the answer is yes I would say yes yeah 100 per. I think I mean I think audri esy does have value but the buzzes of McMillan is too much to ignore the fact he's on waivers is nice and I mean if I'm reading this right if audri G is your running back nine I I I take your upside flyer on MC Millan good good position to be in I'd say definitely a good position to be in um two two yeah no no no two two upside names that could could be I I just I to answer it just to me McMillan seems like he has way more he definitely gon be playing the thing with jayl McMillan is he's gonna be playing almost every down I mean I mean he's he's my target if I'm targeting these like 14th 13th round 15th round guys I pretty much Target him in pretty much every draft so I know TP you almost have kind of said it with some of your exposure to certain players like the Broncos offense which I feel like for the first couple months of our live streams we were very rightfully anti anti Shawn Peyton just anti the players and the last month there's been this kind of across the fantasy Community almost like a gradual rise in like yeah maybe the Broncos aren't that bad which is very possible um but I think McMillan Buzz outweighs audri esime especially with kind of the positivity towards Davonte Williams Jalil mlin there and Blake Watson made the roster and Shawn pading was pretty peruses in his praise towards Watson throughout uh training camp so I'd be feeling pretty comfortable dropping audri EST and I think MC billan is someone you want to have week one could ese be the guy it's always possible anything's but it's down the line it's down the line I me we just don't know like he's definitely a speculation if you have deep rosters you know if you're if you're telling me ese versus McMillan is McMillan 100% of the times if ese beats you he beats you but McMillan could easily you know win like why not he's going to be playing on the outside he's going to be playing a ton of snaps he clearly beat you know Trey Palmer so to me it just makes too much sense turp you're about to be on the clock here at I don't I don't want to get into your draft I was about to ask a draft specific question but I'm not going to out of fear you can any question you want right now literally won't will not hurt my feelings whatsoever sure the question is essentially going to be when do you start targeting obviously I'm assuming for you defense kickers probably in the later rounds are you looking to get multiple more tight ends are you going to be good with Ingram and then maybe one more or and then are you looking at backups for Lawrence around this range when does that start to come into play because you've hammered it's definitely coming in range soon it probably won't be here might be here we'll see what the next pick goes because there's one guy that I kind of want interesting another another guy Justin Herbert 14th round last Tuesday with Brian we saw him in the 20th just absurd range on some of these quarterbacks okay so you do go a second tight end in Hunter Henry Hunter Henry was the guy that I was targeting I mean we've had Andrew Cooper on the show I live by his motto I mean if if you see some of these guys in this range try to get a guy who could be a top two target share on the team it just makes you know too much sense and and Hunter Henry could be that guy new offensive coordinator Alex Vel you know why not Henry you know on that team we pulk Douglas Osborne Baker I mean we can keep going on the list of guys who are just totally unknown right now that offensive line is atrocious Brett's gonna be throwing the ball I don't think his depth of Target is gonna be a ton that means great things for guys like Douglas and Hunter Henry and when May's out there I think it's gonna be just as better because he can Chuck The Rock to me it's it's Hunter Henry makes a ton of sense here and with the hunter Henry pick it might be the end of the position there's one other guy maybe two other guys that I like late um that make a ton of sense so to me it's just you know Henry you know shuts off the board Marshon Lloyd was a consideration um Marsha lyd was in consideration he was the Clos the running back room it was either going to be him or Tyrone Tracy who's still on the board but I don't care about talking to him it just you know it makes too much sense I uh I got to ask you perar 99 has been talking him up in the chat when he was drafted a couple rounds ago go really sucks that Josh JNS has an high ankle sprain it does because I mean the steam he was he was like every reporter said yeah this guy is the best receiver in Camp you and me have both said I'll I'll take my Victory lap last year you and me both loved him coming out of UNCC don't understand how he felt to the third round of the NFL draft you and me both love tankel and him as late round Dart throws I'd say we hit on both of those although Downs fizzled towards the end of the season and Dell obviously got hurt the high ankle sprain is Con erning but even if he misses couple weeks and then takes a couple weeks to get back up to speak you're getting him in the 13th round surprising that ad Mitchell has passed him because in theory when Josh DS does get healthy very conceivable that like even let's even talk about compared to Pitman I know the injury I know it sounds crazy but would you rather a fourth round Michael Pitman or a 13th round Josh DS and build out other receivers instead of Pitman I think for me I'd rather have Downs than Pitman and obviously just take a different receiver other than Pitman I don't know how I don't have much Pitman to be honest with you I agree with you with he's he's been dropping pitman's been dropping a lot he has been dropping to me it's just I mean it's not just it's more of just like I don't believe in Anthony richon as a as a you know quarterback yet throwing the ball I love Anthony richen the player but that's more for his rushing ability um but I mean pitman's a guy that I I just don't see a path to get to you know I always look at guys being draft in that range can they be a a a wide receiver one I don't see it perar 99 giving us some more information which is his teams are Taylor Stevenson Corum assuming bran allen tank bsby Jordan Mason Tyron Tracy P Ryan and estim I don't to see I'm not a bsby guy I think tank bsby stinks so tank bsby would be the one I'm cutting out of those n I'm not a Bigsby guy either I mean he's a backup so all right is too it's probably still estimate for me I mean I mean least BBY gives you some sort of potential as a as a handcuff I don't see have I can pull up the ADP in front of me and I know they looked awful in the preseason and he's been hurt I was looking at last year's like overall finishes Russell Wilson had a way better finish last year like I think he was like qb4 than I thought he did just because there was so much negativity surrounding him like this is just question is like Russell Wilson a guy you're fine maybe if you really desperately need to take L as a backup quarterback obviously he he's one on a team that believes in him I know it's a ground heavy attack which I'm sure takes away from a bit as I know you're on the clock but I'll just say this I mean okay you had outs I forgot about the one of the most quarterbacks of all time yeah that was my I mean will Levis would have been my pick I probably should have took him over Hunter Henry but you know I feel like Henry was a more of an asset to my team I know quarterback people are going to be like well Trevor Lawrence and Aaron Rogers aren't the greatest and you're not you're not wrong they're not but I'm a big believer in Trevor Lawrence this year I think he has a qb1 you know in his range of outcomes um he was being drafted as that last year and totally flopped but Jacksonville just had a weird year I think he comes back this year he's looked really good in the preseason I know it's the pre-season before anybody says it but it I'm excited about Trevor I'm excited about offense Brian Thomas Kirk etn Ingram obviously um can I get into a take about Trevor Lawrence like not fantasy related you know how you kind of always talked early on about like Caleb Williams and his mentality and all that yeah I think Trevor Lawrence is a better example of that because this dude uh was probably one of if not the best quarterback prospects since Andrew Luck I was I mean brilliant college career I thought it was obviously the urban Meer Year all scratch that no one could succeed Trevor Lawrence is guy though where I do wonder where the mentality is at and about his ability that to supersede into that Superstar category that I think talent-wise he should be with the coaching staff he has the weapons he has but he's pretty open like in numerous interviews hey football is just football it's it's not the end of the world to me like I think he's even had quotes like if I don't win a Super Bowl that's okay it's just a random I like Trevor Lawrence I think he's a talented quarterback it's just interesting to me that when I look at him like of all the quarterbacks he's the one where I'm like where's his mentality and head at to really maybe work to get to that next level and if it doesn't happen this year it's not happening I don't think yeah I mean he has everything in line exciting rookie you know Ingram taking the next step you know Kirk being 100% even though he's banged up hopefully 100% etn who looked great last year continues to look good in the preseason you know and a team that seems to be hungry in a division that's going to be a lot of exciting games a coach that's a very good offensive mind who just got paid Trevor Lawrence I mean everything lines up that should be there for him it's just the question of you know is it upstairs the talent's there we know he's one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league he is but above the shoulders is where the question has always been with him so if he figures it out this year I mean Jacksonville is going to be all the guys on Jacksonville are new guys you want to own every single one of them yeah it's Jacksonville's definitely an interesting spot see we see Brian Thomas rising up boards Christian Kirk is there Evan Ingram is obviously one of the most if not the most underrated tight end season ever I'd say um literally no one when I look talking about etn either for a second third round pick not a the problem with etn is he's in the same range that I talk about like I love etn I'm drafting him a ton yeah if I start two receivers like if I figure out a way to start a J Brown Harrison I would love etn at that pick absolutely love him in the third round the issue comes into let's just start you say you start with bejan or you start with you know Bree hall or mcaffrey even in some cases it's just harder to click that button because there's so much value at their running back position that if you're going You're gonna be behind the eightball you're G have to be chasing tight end CH chasing receiver it's all about structure it's all about you know the build and you know I'm about to be on the clock so let me just make this pick no you don't have to worry team nine is gonna take you down to the wire there you had he's definitely helped me out because I'm sometime I'm not really paying that much attention to the draft um the Dallas Cowboys Jaylen Tolbert uh T real quick before we get into Tolbert which I think we've mentioned how he's one of your most known players but I haven't actually delved into why you own him so much real quick on Rogers beyond the Achilles there was also the his last healthy year in Green Bay wasn't a great you you started to see a fallof fantasy wise he obviously is going to be in probably a run heavy offense but I do think there's enough there if Lawrence does like if Lawrence doesn't like pop like you're expecting him to your quarterback position is just in trouble if he does very big trouble yes Rogers probably has enough weapons where you can confidently slot him in and yeah there might be some weeks you if you C like let's say you start Rogers two or three weeks uh this year maybe one of them it is just the Bree Hall they run the ball he goes Rogers has 200 yards and a touchdown he doesn't give you much but he also has enough there with Garrett Wilson with Bree Hall in the in the uh receiving game obviously Malachi Corley Mike Williams is there that he has enough there and I'm sure there's going to be flashes of prime Rogers you just gotta gotta hope that the weeks that Aaron Rogers may be in your lineup are those flashes now Jaylen Tolbert let's talk about him you're on your soap box most don't player give me give me sell the people on Jaylen to Brandon Cooks banged up first of all that's really not that meaningless that's just help things they added absolutely nobody no rookie no guy who's given any Buzz whatsoever you know Jaylen Tober actually played well at the end of the last season he's had a good camp hasn't played which is great that means they believe in him yeah you know haven't seen him out there you know he been sitting with other starters yeah he's not out there with the scrub so he's not something that you know if you saw him out there with the backups and all that stuff and then you'd worry hasn't b cidd lamb obviously late to Camp might take a little bit for him to get acclimated back into football shape jayen tobert in an offense that we know is going to throw the ball a ton makes tons tons of sense he was pretty much positive in Dallas um it where you're where he's being drafted All Things Considered it's really hard not to like him as one of the best values in draft right now I love him no issues what's whoever taking him you know it's it's really hard to find a guy like this this low that you really get behind and and he is definitely definitely my guy this year let's say you win the million-dollar grand prize and Jaylen tobert is the reason you do it will you commit on the show to showing up to Vegas next year in a Dallas cab Tober Jersey no let's not get crazy well then no no maybe like a jailing mean literally there's some really good ones you could think think off the top of your head and just like wow like amazing names that just let me make this pick I honestly no idea my favorite one in end okay yeah just I love the pick actually no I'm not taking a tight end that was a freaking lie to that that was definitely a miss click well that's still a good pick he he was in my he was in my queue but he definitely was a missclick off we're we we're take we don't freaking know dude it's 17th round fantasy P Championship drafted on weekend $50 from every draft goes to Casey to the rescue which saves dogs from kill shelters that's all right he's still there so I'll take I don't mind Greg dorch by the way in the 17th round there's similar I think he has value I mean I was talking about Wilson and dorge and with Z Jones being out very high on that offense you know I think he's gonna get plenty of targets All Things Considered so you know obviously Ian hardit is a big uh fantasy like presence especially on X and his Greg dorch post never failed to make me laugh so read from them do Dominic Davis Sean is that before my time should I know who Dominic Davis is I don't because I've never heard that name before I mean there's certain guys that get drafted in the 20th Brown of these deeper leagues and you're just like even people who are established and do millions of these like myself you literally have no clue who these guys are like oh for sure but the best ones are the ones where I I I said it openly people who come on these shows whether it be Bulky's podcast or our live draft coverage or s'more will maybe not you you know your [ __ ] will introduce me to names now the best one on balky high stake fantasy football hour I believe it was March no wasn't March it was after the draft so it must have been May guy was saying I'm taking Isaiah Peko the Isaiah P's rookie year I'm taking Isaiah pcho in the 20th round of every single draft I do and you should be too like isah Peko you look him up and then lo and behold I mean puka nakua little little bit more wellknown but another one as just these guys who just they start popping up is Jordan Winnington that guy this year I know there's another name Jermaine Burton I mean Mar but I'm saying that just come out of that started off as like players that like kind of faded off like Jermaine Burton went from being like the popularest guy in fantasy football late to now even like not even being drafted are you are you are you planning to take a tight end here or okay so can I say you probably figure out the tight end very easily if you can I say a name then can I say a name I don't really care you can say it uh not tight end is the example of this year guy didn't didn't and I'm sure a lot of people didn't have a ton of knowledge on but is rising rightfully so is Malik Washington right for the Dolphins because opportunity is there he he fits what they like in their receivers and and you know Jaylen wd's banged up Tyreek Hills banged up Odell is not gonna play at least for four weeks uh maybe he's a guy who can kind of emerge as an early on fantasy uh little bit of a not I wouldn't say star but a a fantasy starter uh nonetheless you're you're trying to take a tight end and then you're on to defense and uh kicker who is this uh tight end you're going to be targeting as oh te team nine is winding down in all seriousness I don't care who he takes my pick is was gonna be Greg dolit last time so he's probably gonna be my pick here but there's also a chance that I take Malik Washington because we did talk about this on the breathing so I'm I'm gonna make that decision here shortly all right he takes Rashad oh he didn't I thought he took he did not take Rashad Bay man another one I love this guy just goes down to the last click Harrison bucker I will say just real quick Rashad baitman another one 18th round you can cut him with nothing but for all the buzz that's been there you gotta like that pick you take doul as your Titan three then your on to kicker and defense I'm being informed that Dominic Davis played at LSU from 2003 to 2005 and then for the Texans Sean I was three years old so yeah not not not not the the random name game only goes so far when you're dealing with someone born in 2000 seriously um so tur obviously defense and kicker put that aside I'm assuming you feel really good about this draft right Greg very excited about it I mean the quarterback room not the best but at the end of the day I'm I'm banking a lot on Trevor Lawrence you're a believer in lawence I'm a Believer in Lawrence and and when I missed out on on Jaden Daniels um I kind of just was okay with just stacking as much as I could depthwise and I feel like I did that with Robinson Dell Davis Vidal all those guys like after Lawrence to me it's a massive massive drop off like yeah I like guys like gof I love guys like Stafford pie you know guys like that but like players like Tua and Kirk Cousins they're just not guys like drafted ton because their upsides very limited they have no rushing upside at all at least I know with Trevor Lawrence you know he has the ability to you know do all that so you know I would give it a solid a minus All Things Considered I mean the Joe Mixon pick got me a little tilted but I mean if Joe Mixon turns out to be what he was being drafted at before the the minor stuff in the preseason I really really like this team this team definitely could be a force I mean a lot of things got to go my way but we know the receivers love them you know running backs Chase Brown's my fourth running back I think on this team um let me check that again third running back which is second running back what am I talking Rico Dell is my fourth running back who easily could be the best running back on this team um Ray Davis gives me a flyer you think Davis or Vidal as like the rookie breakout running back and that to kind of hit on the expectations that some people are placing on him your running back room all of a sudden looks in a really good spot regardless of what Joe Mixon does I agree um GNA agree with you more so I don't even know what I was gonna ask to be completely better off that way just totally out one of one of our longer dra I know what I was gonna say as I've said for those who are just joining us or right before people start heading out this is fantasy P Championship draft of weekend turp is obviously drafting in it now you can draft in it there are 16 drafts popping off every single day uh really starting at 10: am. through 12:30 a. uh the next day at night so for each fantasy pros Championship draft that fills $50 will be donated to Casey to the rescue Casey to the rescue is a volunteer organization that rescues dogs from kill shelters right before they're about to be euthanized uh our very own Chris Lambert is the founder uh of this great organization and her and her team of volunteers take a shuttle down to Lexington Kentucky pick up all these dogs as she had said to me her record uh amount in a shuttle was 92 dogs she had saved they do this about 23 to 25 times a year they pick up all the dogs they take them throughout a variety of partnered shelters in Erie and buffalo uh multiple in Canada Rhode Island Massachusetts New Hampshire uh they want to always make sure they don't want to ever over flood uh one single shelter with dogs so they they they take hours out of their weekend it takes their whole weekend so $50 from each draft is going to them every draft if you sign up for a fantasy Pro Championship draft this weekend which goes through midnight on Labor Day you will be helping to save dogs you will be helping Chris and her team get the necessary funds that they need to improve their operation and and expand it because we all love dogs we want to save dogs and we want to help Chris who has done so much for us in this fantas football Community um so that is the that is my pitch so if you're going to draft might as well do it when you can win a million dollars and you can save dogs help out a ridiculously great cause and a ridiculously great person I mean I could talk for Chris for 24 hours straight I mean she does so much for you know the ffpc and obviously you know off the field she's great too so to me you know do what you can get in a draft she's the greatest uh yeah obviously I'm trying to get the numbers up here someone's asking how many drafts every morning um on our social media and I'll probably update it like on the my teams page I will be updating how much has been raised so far how many teams drafted um but I believe if I'm going to my numbers we've had already it looks like about 400 plus people have already signed up so trying to do the math it's late 24 480 a lot there's been a lot today and Saturday Sunday Monday it's what it's almost what 10:30 the brain's not working but let me try and figure it out um this is embarrassing 10 I would say roughly what's you've literally been nonstop for 24 hours a day I barely barely answer a text that I sent you yeah well this is our B you're nonstop trying to get these leagues filled we got best ball done now we got to get the main EV best how about that superflex and then then get the Fantasy superlex main event fantasy pros just a big weekend for everything if you haven't hopped into draft yet and hey maybe you don't have 350 bucks or two grand or whatever it is get a couple Partners together and get on the site it's worth taking a shot at lifechanging money yeah and that was a long say roughly I would say around uh $2,000 has already probably been raised last year last year the charity we did the American Breast Cancer Foundation um to help fight breast cancer and I think we raised $10,500 so we're trying to beat that this year and and save some dogs um so to anyone I I I implore you guys please help out in any way you can um help this great charity help this great person help save dogs all and all you got to do is just draft for a million dollars which is is a great deal to us um yeah as tpet mentioned the bball tournament is actually filled so if you're looking to fill pick that you had favorite whether it be value or just anything it doesn't have to be a value pick yet but what was your favorite pick from your draft tonight a guy that I've been adding a ton lately I actually forgot he was there I probably would have took him earlier is Greg does I mean there's not much to like right now and it's very ugly in Denver but to get him in the 18th round easily could be you know the top Target guy behind C Courtland Sutton on that team if B Knicks does figure it out I think he's one of the best picks in fantasy drafts right now he's definitely a guy been add a ton of he's too cheap right now I mean he he gives you that profile of potential and he's easily cut if things don't work out so I mean he's my third tight down on this team and he could easily be my Flex starter with Evan Ingram so it's probably my favorite pick outside the ordinary and then uh my last question I'll leave you off with as you uh quickly pick your defense which is obviously now we're a week less than a week till the season kicks off Main Event fantasy Pro Championship drafts end that Sunday You're an experienced drafter you've been drafting the ffpc for years for those who are maybe just getting into the ffpc or maybe have been drafting on the ffpc but in some of the smaller six leagues and are bumping it up to fantasy pros our main event do you have any bit of advice to them about how to navigate drafting this week before the season starts is there any not obviously because every month is different right you have to look for different things but now one week before the season what's your bit of advice to them if this is your first draft or your only draft and no matter what contest you're in screw ADP go get your guys you obviously like guys there's guys that that if you're if you really love a jsn push them up around get your guy get your guy like you've been talking to your friends you your home leagues whatever it is don't be don't be staring at the ADP that the ffpc puts out there and be like oh I can't take jsn now he's gonna be available for me in the next round guess what this is money time people are gonna go get their guys they're gonna push them up around two rounds in some cases because at the end of the day we all do you know our research and whatever it is some way crazier than other some just for a couple hours and you find guys that you love so go get the guy and and let's let's make some money I mean if if you're drafting a million you don't really need my you don't you you don't need to listen to what I have to say because you know what you're doing you're drafting a ton but you know try to limit your exposure if you're doing a ton but these one guy these these people that are drafting one two teams go to go draft your guys man because this is fun and this is life-changing money and hey winning your league is just as valuable as you know a shot at a million dollars in in these leagues so take your shot you know this is again life-changing money and a life-changing opportunity to put something on your resume that you know most people would dream of even getting the opportunity to do uh I'll leave off with this me and turp
