Sal I'm glad you asked because
I've been trying to get Cody Bellinger on the Yankees for
like three years now, so this is another opportunity here and
yeah, he would be a good fit here for the Yanks. They desperately
need a bat. We've been over the reasons his 742 0ps isn't
all that spectacular. However
would ranked third on the current
Yankees behind two guys you've heard of Judge and Soto so this would really be a nice
lineup boost for him. He can play a bunch of different places
as well. He could do a little first base if you like.
Yeah, and the Outfield is a good outfielder as well. This
is a no-brainer. Her to me, but there are a lot of no-brainers
on the trade market for me Sal this is a team that needs
Improvement. I will say I was not high on
Bellinger. But right now I think he'd be a great fit for
the Yankees possibly probably wouldn't have to give up as much
as they would for maybe some of the other names that
have been out there speaking of which Jeff passan reported
today. The Yanks would be willing to
deal Jason Dominguez and or spencer-jones in the right deal.
I'm not buying it. I no passons great. I'm just there's
no way I'm believing that Danny should
either of those two guys be Untouchable over small just
hearing that report makes me wanna clap my hands because it
is Bout dang time the New York Yankees, you have a window you have one so do and I
understand the prospects you
have especially in Jason Dominguez.
I'm much more willing to listen on spencer-jones Less on
Dominguez, but you want to win now you haven't won in 14 years.
You better be willing to listen on your top prospects to
put this team together to get the bat you need. I would be so
disappointed if they got to this point in the season and
weren't willing to listen to their top prospects because if
you want to win this is the time to do it and those are
the guys you're going to have to deal if you want to be able to Move your line up to me Danny. I'm not trading
Dominguez because I think you just there's
just too much. They're potentially he would have saved
their season had he not gotten hurt earlier this year Spencer
Jones. I'm willing to part with let me get this right. He's
struck out 129 times in 346 plate appearances in double. I am not giving up on the kid
either but that's some serious contact issues there and the
wouldn't I'm Corbin Burns. Yeah the year, but now they have a
look you're right now, they should have done it then they should have done it then
but now they Have a need for this year's
team. Keep if you want to keep Juan Soto around limping to the
Finish ain't the way to do it and they need.
