[Music] what's up guys houndish here and today we're jumping in with some Destiny 2 news and updates and of course it's Thursday so we get Bungie's weekly blog post which as always outlin some new details future changes Recaps for some of the reveals and content this week but there are a handful of new things in there as well so we're going to round everything up in the video as always and if you enjoy it a rating below really helps us on the channel also get subscribed so I can keep you posted with more destiny content but otherwise now let's get into it and a first quick mention before we get into the twid but tofu bunny on Twitter shared that the Nerf face of Spades ornament appears to directly lift a commission that they did in 2015 and what's essentially being said here this is widespread in the community there's a lot of conversation about it at the moment but what's being said is that Bungie have essentially copied some community art or fan art in order to develop the new ace of spades ornament or the Nerf version in the 10th anniversary so they provided some images as you can see the color scheme is kind of inverted right there the community artists version at the top but outside of that a lot of the geometry additional Stripes Line work and even the kind of scratches in the paint appear to be nearly identical to the version that was developed by a Community member and so a lot of people started getting cross about this and the destiny 2 Team have actually responded they said we are currently investigating internally and with our partner we're also in contact with the artist and we'll share more on what next steps we're taking once we gather more information so Bungie haven't denied that this has happened and obviously there's a recognition there that these two appear to be incredibly similar this wouldn't be the first time that things like this have happened in the community either so what are you guys think let us know in the comments section I do you think there are parts of that ornament design which are literally identical to the original source so it's pretty strange really that Bungie would go ahead and do that or someone working within Bungie would think that they'd be able to get away with it as outside of the black and white essentially being inverted they're near enough 100% identical so folks in the community will have their say we'll see what Bungie have to say on it down thead Ro but I figured it was worth touching on since a lot of folks in the community are discussing it already next up though let's get on to the bulk of the twid for the week and as we mention at the start there are some Recaps for some of the things that have happened this week so the future of Destiny 2 Bungie say we're building the future of Destiny with code name Frontiers earlier this week Tyson green the game director for Destiny 2 and Allison lur The Narrative director shared some of our plans in a new Dev blog if you hadn't had chance to check it out all of those plugs are linked in the twid so that's in the description box if you want them and they point out there were extra sort of insights about core game activities rewards and the portal but finally they say we'll be building upon this section over the next few months with breakdowns of features and changes coming to Destiny and we're excited to share more news of Destiny's path ahead with players soon so that's one of the Recaps next though bunge do talk about the new dungeon which is coming as part of the next episode so the dungeon will drop on October 11th and they say in just a little under a month on October 8th episode Revenant will launch launch we've got lots of new details to share before that time but today we wanted to focus on one of those pieces which is the new dungeon and that will launch on Friday October 11th at 10: a.m. Pacific time the new dungeon will feature a contest mode for the first time ever so gather your fire team save the date and we'll have more details for you in the weeks ahead presumably that contest mode will be 48 Hours like we see with the raids also it's a week one dungeon so we won't be waiting around for it very long after the launch of the episode although it does require the dungeon pass which is still a separate purchase like it has been for the past couple of years also important though is to note that bunge revealed earlier this week that Icebreaker will be part of that dungeon so presumably that's the core exotic for the dungeon very curious to see what they'll do with the weapon to bring it forward to Destiny 2 I imagine it's probably going to get a reasonably significant rework but I guess we'll have to wait and see for now though good to have a date for that new dungeon and let us know if it's something you're excited for down in the comment section next up in the twid though Bungie give another update about the Skywatch enemy density or more specifically the real problem is the drop rate of the engrams which were required or probably actually the requirement or the amount of engrams which we need to get in order to get that Triumph for the legend title so they say we've heard your feedback regarding engram drop rates in the Skywatch zone of cosmodrome to alleviate this problem and to allow The Accidental generosity Triumph required for the legend title to be completed in a more timely manner we are increasing enemy density in Skywatch in a future update in the meantime there are still several weeks left to earn and access the legend pin as well as the title which will be available until code name Apollo ships in 2025 so the good thing is that it's going to be around for quite some time we'll still be able to earn it for at least the next 9 or 10 months but it's interesting the way that bung are changing this to kind of stick into their guns in a way I suppose by not changing the requirement of course it would also be difficult to actually buff the drop rates of the engrams as that has a wider implication on rewards in the game I can't help but feel like it would be better if they just reduced the required number of Ingram drops but I suppose we'll see how this plays out and let us know your thoughts about it down below they also give a note on the veteran Legend armor sets and they say players who've earned the veteran Legend armor sets available as part of the title can also get ornaments for all of the armor pieces at no cost when visiting the special delivery terminal that sits between gunsmith and the Crypt AR so if you didn't know that now you do they also say next week they plan to dive back in with more details on what's coming inside of episode Revenant so we are going to get more information next week I don't know whether that will be previews about the actual new content or more of the sort of sandbox changes and adjustments that will happen alongside that launch that's probably the case for now but more info is always welcomed I suppose so I'll keep you posted on that as always the final bits from the twab though and they talk about the Encore exotic Mission they talk about how it takes us to newly terraformed parts of nessus with of course that updated visual aesthetic arguably one of the winds for Echo and they say there we've discovered Maya's truly disturbing plans took on her involving Vex forces and snatched a powerful weapon from the claws of our enemies and Maya's been working beneath the core on a secret project stepping into her lab below nessus requires learning to utilize Vex technology taking risks jumping and hopping through Vex portals and after earning quir of one we'll have a host of secrets to discover and ear all of its catalysts as well as additional perks they point out to get access to this we need to complete research specimen n07 from fail safe and visit banshe to get everything started and we'll then find even more Secret puzzles to complete and collectibles hidden throughout the mission help complete fail safe's collection in the helm along with a few triumphs plus they teas we've also heard Whispers of a very cool secret emblem that perceptive and Speedy Guardians can add to their collection which is referencing the time trial that we can do inside of that mission as well so essentially a bit of an advert for Encore right there for most of us that are up to date with this season's content though we probably don't want to go back into Encore for a little while as we've probably played it a handful of times this week at the very least with the am Quest steps that send us back in last couple of bits though they say the Bungie Foundation is headed to twitchcon and that'll be between September 20th and 22nd and we've got something special in store for those in attendance by finding the Bungie Foundation team at the convention and making an inperson donation folks can earn the magnetosonic waves emblem available only in real life during twitchcon and they say this is the one and only chance to grab this limited time emblem so make sure you track us down and say hi while you're there okay if you're going I suppose it's a kind of cool emblem and the last section of the twab in case you want to check it out are some sword logic moments and as promised Bungie have shared some videos and clips that have been featured as movie of the week as part of the sword event that we had a couple of weeks back they point out none of those clips include 1,000 voices which of course was bugged for the duration I hope we get a cool emblem for that at some point in the future but if you want to check out all the clips from The Sword week they are in the twid which I'll link in the description box for today though guys that's everything we've got to talk about so kind of a mixed bag good to have a date and more Echo info coming next week so let us know if you're looking forward to that keep it locked and loaded here on the channel if you do want to find out more of that info as I'll keep you posted but if you've enjoyed the video today a rating below really helps us on the channel also be sure to get subscribed and I'll keep you posted with more Destiny content but otherwise cheers for watching and I hope you guys have an awesome day [Music]
