[Music] I mean it's it's an extraordinary H honor you know the first time was and it sort of doesn't change um regardless of of the occasion so you know the words sort of remain the same around um how you feel about you know your standing you know in the competition when you consider the voting side of things and even as I look at some of the names um you know on the on the plaes here um it's a you know a cherished achievement that um yeah I you know care you know care a lot about so it's uh yeah it's very uh yeah I'm very appreciative when I think about my own you know voting and who I sort of voted for and and and cast my guess numbers for is is you know it's really hard to separate guys especially at the you know the top part of of the competition you know day cost Crips you know Heeney Neil uh I'm probably forgetting you know guys who are really in that you know Echelon and it's really hard to to split them and I think you know hopefully what it comes down to is obviously the the respect and integrity side of of hopefully how you play the game because on a talent you know Case by case scenario it's really hard to split anyone because there's so many talented players in the league so um I think that's one of the things I try to do to the best of my ability is just play the game with integrity [Music] yeah I mean still not even close when you consider he's won five of them and that just goes to show the type of player he was for a long period of time um but to to end up in the conversation is is uh hard to get my head around at times um especially when you're still in the game and still playing so at the end of the day you know it's it's it's an extreme you know honor that you can sit here and and speak to it and and talk to it to those types of people and those types of names and and one that will continue to sort of Find meaning long after probably my career is is done and finished so yeah couldn't be more grateful to be honest and rounding out this exceptional team Whitfield Neil tror and butters please put your hands together for your all Australian team of 2024 ecstatic man um you definitely see you know behind the closed doors and and from a our club perspective that the work and the effort that goes into to to Really every season um but particularly for Adam who's been such a high performer for a number of years and and somehow that elusive jacket has evaded him but um to be part of it and be you know one of his teammates at the time that um I know he would feel really um proud about his season of football and I think he's been acknowledged in in the perfect way with with this honor um it's just extremely yeah it fills you with pride I think when you're a teammate of someone who who goes on and does something they really wanted to hopefully achieve um you can't help it feel happy for him happy for our team and and um yeah just all around excitement [Music] I think as a player you'd be crazy to not feel excited by the opportunity um even when you consider how the finals have landed and how um you know the only game in Victoria will be our game on the on the Friday night you hope you get a lot of fans there to just come along and hopefully showcase the best parts of our both of our games um and it'll be a really challenging game as you know PA Thorn's form throughout the year probably one of the best teams on a form basis in it at the minute so that's that's a massive challeng but I think that that feeling is overall by excitement um the opportunity and the prospect of of who knows what can happen beyond that first game but as you said our focus is squarely on getting through this week we got a vfl final series for our foots grade boys to play in the exciting thing for the girls is how many new faces and new people are going to get a chance to to pull on the jumper um and basically imprint their their own sort of style and and and whatnot on on our football club and and on the game um and it's exciting those formative um part of a New Journey um should have everyone feeling really good and inspired about what could be very similar to to our attitude going into a finals I hope it's the same thinking for them going into the start of their their campaign and want it be a fun Journey
