back I am back to cover this game we had a really good game on our hand tonight we had the sky and we had the Sparks so let's just go ahead and hop right into um this recap so the sky beat the Sparks 92 to 78 and before we even get started let's just welcome back Kennedy Carter Kennedy Carter was absolutely amazing today we realize that Kennedy is absolutely the heart and soul of this team she's the heartbeat she's the one who truly makes this team's go um and it seems like the the team was happy to have her back as well it seemed like they came out with more energy tonight um they played a whole lot better the spacing on the floor was better tonight like I said it seemed like they they ratted around Ken they seemed like they missed her as well so uh welcome back Ken we we really happy to have you back especially as we go into this last stretch to try to make this playoffs we really need um Kenedy Carter playmaking ability and her scoring so let's go ahead and get into um what I thought about this game overall I feel like um this was a this was a okay game um um turnovers continue to be the ailles hill for this team they had 14 turnovers um outside of that I feel like if they clean it up um this team will be a whole lot better um they just got to get better with making their passes and you know throwing the entry pass and and just just watching what you're doing overall you know this could have 14 turnovers even though like not saying like the Sparks are like trash because I don't like to say teams are trash but um if this was a better team they probably would have lost with them 14 turnovers um to be honest with you that's why I said I would I would like for them to clean it up if they can get like maybe half of that you know cut them turnovers in half if you can keep it low um I think that'll be really that'll be really really good uh we had um like I said Kennedy came in tonight she gave you 15 points nine rebounds and seven assists like I said Ken was doing anything that she wanted tonight um got that she got the fastest first upep in the WNBA like she she she do whatever she want honestly she get that first up on you she going to the goal like I said I seen some very good passes for from her tonight she was getting a little fancy I said okay Ken you going in your bag of tricks tonight huh she was doing really really good tonight um then of course you know Angel Reese um she played in a very efficiency game very efficient game tonight shooting 60% from the floor um she ended up with 15 point no I'm sorry she ended up with 24 points and uh 12 rebounds this is one of the better games that we've seen her play um since she played against the fever when she had 25 and 12 like I said tonight she was very efficient um my only thing that I would say about angel re is I I want her to stop being hesitant when she's wide open if she would just pull the trigger and just shoot it I feel like that she would make it but I feel like sometimes when she realized that she's open she waits a long time she hesitate too much and then she shoot like she just got to kind of like get out of her if she can just get out her head and just just pull the trigger just pull it just pull it when you wide open just pull it I feel like she would make majority of her shots but sometimes I feel like she just she's in her head too much about it but outside of that you know we seen her hit her three um like I said she didn't hit some she hit some mid-range Shots tonight um offensive rebound cleaning up cleaning up the um cleaning up the goal you know when Camila was missing I seen her her twice like I said angel had a really good game tonight like I said if I had the CRI anything about her game um I just want her to stop being hesitant on the mid-range shots um once she gets a little bit more comfortable in the shots like I said I feel like Angel will be um a whole lot better player but I feel like that's going to come with time like I really want to see her this season I I mean this summer I really want to see her like in the gym just really trying to perfect um her offense we all know she got the mot her on defense we know that she gonna grab the boards she going to defend she going to get steal she going to get blocked but I really just want to see Angel get a a whole lot better on her offense um other than that um we talk about Michaela Michaela on war man I really like how Michaela has really stepped up since Marina uh ma has been traded like I really love um Michaela game um she's coming in every night giving you at least 10 to 12 points um it seemed like she's getting a whole lot more comfortable in her game as well you seeing her going to the goal you seeing her doing that little spin around little f move I like I like that little move that she be doing like I feel like she's getting a whole lot better in her game too um I feel like um Michaela is one of the players that I would like to see come back next year as well with our Core Group um outside of Angel Camila and um Kennedy I really would like that um if Michaela would stay on this team as well because like I said Michaela has really stepped up since Mar has been out and she goes out and she play hard every single night she has been very consistent since she's been um inserted into this starting line so shout out to Michaela um you playing really really good um also I like that Camila Camila is playing really good too like I said um ever since this Allstar break Camila is coming in like I feel like she's getting more comfortable in her game as well um finishing around the rim she's really good at that and Camila really has she has a mid AI a mid-range shot as well we seen that tonight on display um she knocked down a midrange uh mid-range shot and I feel like this summer if Camila really um perfect that mid-range like she's not she ain't gonna be a run trick pony She's Not Just Gonna Be A Plus player like she a player who can um get that mid-range shot too so they gonna have the respect the outside on that perimeter so I really like how Camila is just taking a chance and she has that confidence in herself like they throw it they throw it to Camila like Camila she's like no hesitation she's taking that shot every single time and nine times out of 10 I've seen her knock those shots down so like I said man I feel like Camila is really coming into her arm she's being a whole lot more aggressive on um both sides of the floor um trying to get those you know she GNA get those blocks she G to get the um and get her booket right at the go um I really like if the sky will like just continue to feed her when you see Camila is hot like just continue to keep going to her like that builds confidence and her and that's building confidence in her teammates too like okay I know I can go to Camilla right here you know so um like I said I really like how Camila is just she just really coming into her own of course Lindsay Allen Lindsay Allen has been playing really well I like how that even though the Kenny even though the Kenny Carter came back it really didn't affect her game we saw Lindsay being a playmaker tonight um I want to say Lindsay had about seven assists um and eight points like I said she was at playmaker she just wasn't standing around trying to be a shooter tonight like she was you know dishing the about Kennedy uh dising dishing the about angel Camila like she really allowed herself just to be that playmaker and not just the shooter and I feel like if lindsy can come out every night and play like that even though Kennedy is back in this um lineup if she just comes in and just plays like okay I'm not just going to go stand in the corner and get on knockdown shots like I kind of want to be an asset on offense as well and I feel like it worked really really well tonight for her and Kennedy like I said I've seen Kennedy like really just being a playmaker this probably one of the first games I seen her like um just really passing the ball not saying like she a ball hogging at or Nothing But Ken is more of a shoot first uh guard but tonight uh Kennedy had seven assists too so like I said she was in her in her bags a trick so if they can if those two can play like that every single every single time like we would definitely make the playoffs like we if we get those um if we getting 10 to 12 from Michaela if we getting 10 points from Lindsay Allen if we getting you know Ken gonna come in and give us at least 15 to 20 Angel if she can come in and give us what she what she gave us tonight and Camila going to continue to give us 12 and uh 12 and N 12 and 10 like I'll take it I feel like this will they will going to they were going to run and they will make uh get into the playoffs um we didn't we we got some efficiency From the Bench tonight um 23 points Diamond The Shield gave us 10 and uh Rachel bam gave us nine and I feel like um Diamond sh she just be kind of like up and down like some some night she'll come in and have a really good game the next game she'll fall out the next game like if we can get a little bit more consistency from uh Diamond the shields of coming off the bench uh that'll that'll be a whole lot better for the bench because I I feel like um spoon didn't go really too deep into the bench tonight we didn't see um Dana play I think I seen uh bana Turner out there but um she kind of just rolled the hot hand of her starter tonight like they was playing they just jail really really well tonight like I said I think it's I think it was just like just having that energy back um with Kennedy Carter on the floor it just made them play a whole lot better but outside of that I feel like this was a really um I won't say was a great game but it was it was an okay game like and this what this is why sometimes I kind of like feel frustrated with the sky because I know they have these type of games in them like I know they can go out and hoop it's just about everybody just you know being somewhat consistent um spacing the floor uh going to people who got the hot hand and just riding that hot hand so like I said um the sky can really get into the playoffs if they just continue to play the way that they played um last night um going forward even though um Atlanta won tonight we still hold a tiebreaker of Atlanta so we are very very narrowly holding on to that AC SE um the sky do play the wings on Sunday um that's gonna be a t task because we already know arque is a bucket over there uh satu is back um you never know when Natasha Howard is gonna give you um Tiara going to be crashing board so Dallas is not going to just be like a walking Park type team so hopefully the Scott can go out and get this game and then um on Wednesday they got the mystics um the mystics is right there in in the mix as well too so the mystics if I'm not mistaken um yeah they right there too they're 11 and 23 so that's going to be a really that's going to be a really big game um for the sky as well going against the misses CU they need that they need that win and then after that we got the lean we got Mercury we got the dream and then we got con so we got a little stress to go but I feel like we can get it done um we can continue to uh put these wins together I know the sky can do this we I believe in y'all I know y'all can make this playoffs um I just want to see uh I just want to see this team get into the playoffs and kind of like get that experience and know what they're going to be up against next year because I feel like this team is going to be a whole lot better next year so yeah um so that's all our that's all I that's all I had um as far as this game overall um like I said everybody played a
