#14 Clemson football 2024 Dabo Sweeney transfer portal fail? Clemson schedule x Clemson recruiting

[Music] will the whole no transfer portal thing catch up with dabble Sweeny well today on T too real I'm going to keep it to real on why I believe it will stay tuned when you looking at the 2024 Clemson Tigers there's a lot to be excited about on the defense because the offense is still a work in progress not t too real what do you mean by that Clemson will have one of the best defenses in all of the ACC headline by Barrett Carter headline by Peter Woods TJ Moore so forth and so on also they brought in five-star linebacker Samy Brown so they're going to have a very very talented defense RJ mickens at safety as well but the offense has a lot to be desired about and I really really truly feel like if Dao Sweeney wasn't so stubborn he could have went in the transfer portal and got a lot of talent at receiver yes they're going to have Tyler Brown to come back from last year who was the leading receiver they lost bu Collins to Notre Dame and I just think because dbo Sweeney is trying to make a statement to where you can win without transfer portal players I'm not going to play the nil game so forth and so on he's going to get into his own way and keep Clemson from being a 10- win team and I always find it kind of funny to where you see these coaches like dabble Sweeny who was a very very arrogant guy he even told the university if you don't appreciate what I'm doing fire me and somebody else will I mean he said that in the interview when you see guys like that who believes their way is the best way and the only way try to go against the times that is so funny to me but what I mean by that is this the time being nowadays in college football is you have to play the nil transfer Portal game because that is the only way you're going to be able to keep your team a championship contending team or a playoff contending team year round while also building for the future with the high school recruiting so you have to hit the transfer portal you kind of got to play the nil deal you don't have to overpay a player but you got to pay something to get those players in to fill those holes and I really really feel like because Dao Sweeney could not get out of his own way could not adjust to the time he missed out on a lot of talent in his transfer portal that could have made Clemson a playoff team in my opinion because Clemson has a very very good defense and that is more than half the battle in any college football game if you have a really really good defense Clemson has that they have a okay quarterback in k club niit but if they would have hit the transfer portal and got two or three more studs at receiver also at cornerback also maybe on the offensive line maybe another running back if possible possible this could have been a very very scary team in 2024 but because of that I think Clemson's going to finish 9 and3 they're going to lose against Virginia Tech they're going to lose against Georgia definitely and they're going to lose against Florida State and if they're not careful they're going to lose against Louisville as well so I'm going to go out on the record and say Clemson's going to finish 9 and three if they could have hit the transfer portal and shorted up a few spots you could have been looking at 11 and one 10-2 but they didn't so 9 and three this is your boy tat to real where we always keep it too what to real holla [Music]
