hi everyone Demi Leo here today's Verse of the Day Proverbs 16:9 tells us that in their hearts humans plan their course but the Lord establishes their steps you see this verse truly means so much to me and I'd love to share a time with you guys where honestly my plans were interrupted you see a couple years ago I got the opportunity to be a part of a fun exciting project and a week before I was about to get on my flight to go and film and be a part of this project I got a call saying Demi the plans have been cancelled now I don't know if you've ever experienced a call like that or received some disappointing news but news like that can be frustrating right well those celed plans ended up opening up a month in my schedule and I got to go back to my home country South Africa and spend time with my family and shortly after I arrived in South Africa it also ended up being my little sister fr's 13th birthday FR was born with severe special needs and many disabilities and left her completely dependent on us and and our little family for survival that birthday I got to celebrate with FR ended up being her last Earthly birthday FR ended up passing away shortly after her 13th birthday fast forward to about a year later I got a phone call saying Demi those cancelled plans are back on track and you won't believe it and I can't make this up but the first day of filming a year later ended up being fr's first Heavenly birthday I think it was just so sweet just shows the Lord's heart to his children that he knows the things that are meaningful to us he knows the things that um are personal to us and that was a very personal gift something that I could never have gifted myself so today maybe if your plans are interrupted I want to challenge all of us to maybe Embrace that Interruption welcome that Interruption and say Lord I know that my plans are not perfect but yours always are
