Caroline wasaki shares heartwarming insight into Family Life at US Open Caroline wasaki has opened up about her tennis career and her young family after she shared a brilliant insight into their US Open life former world number one Caroline wasaki has been balancing family life and her return to tennis in recent years but it appears the two go perfectly hand inand the 34-year-old is currently in Queens for the US Open as she continues to refind her after starting a family the 2018 Australian Open Champion announced her return to professional tennis last summer after halting her career as she began her family with her former NBA player husband David Lee wasaki gave birth to her daughter Oliva on June 11th 2021 and Sun James on October 24th 2022 the Dane started her US Open journey in cruise control with Victory against Japan's now hibino in straight sets and dropped just one game on Tuesday day wasaki was asked after her Victory by a reporter how her young family have adjusted to spending time away from home as her tennis career takes her around the globe Jessica Pula drank beer to speed up US Open drugs test she replied they absolutely love it I mean I bring them everywhere I think it's such a great life experience for them even though they're so young they don't know any better this is your life traveling everywhere meeting new people seeing new places I think they've become really open kids from that and they adjust so well to a new bed a new hotel room speaking about her oldest child Olivia's enjoyment at being on the road she continued we came here this year Olivia walks into her room she goes wow this is a nice house we have here I go yeah don't get too used to this she goes well this is mine now she like runs in and she's so thrilled it's just fun to see the world through her and Jam's eyes it's nice to see how easy they adjust to everything it's been a real joy to bring them and have them obviously you know being a mom is also full-time job so you know juggling both is not always easy but it's something that I'm so proud of and so happy to be able to do bab news
