Agree. I like it without it. I agree. They probably could make like a different structure. Right. All the time. Mix it up. Yeah. Had the Olympics there. Incredible. All right, Audrey. Well, back here at home it's a little different. Oh, my goodness. Active, yeah, very active. Lots of headaches on the roads as people get back, you know, after a long weekend. Yeah. I, 35 was so busy this morning. I mean, just at standstill for a while, still an inch long and we have more rain in the forecast today, but it won't be as intense. And let me show your radar in a 2nd 77 out the door. 78 at since, and it's lunchtime and we're in the seventies. That's the thanks to clock cover and rain cooled, air winds are from the northeast at seven miles an hour and humidity is up. So, going forward today, flash flood watch, not for San Antonio, but for our western counties, Medina County to Valverde County everywhere, shaded and green. That's where we're expecting additional development, more rain and even some powerful thunderstorms later on today. Now the radar is starting to thin out in northern San Antonio. I notice out west getting a little bit more active as it's been the last several days between Hondo Uvalde Eagle Pass in Del Rio. Uh zooming into some of the communities around the region from Bandera to about Kerrville and comfort a light shower out there and around San Antonio from scenic Oaks to Lotus to the rim. Hollywood Park and parts of Stone Oak, light uh light rain at best. There are a couple of embedded more moderate to heavy downpours between Leon Valley downtown towards Von Ory, for example, between highway fif 151 and highway 90 some moderate downpours out there this afternoon that does stretch down highway 90 to southern parts of Medina County. But again, where these flash flood watches are in effect until midnight tonight. That's where you can see a lot more rain starting to form and starting to strengthen between LA prior Crystal City Brackettville and towards the Rio Grande. So I think for the rest of the day, while there is another chance for more scattered rain for San Antonio, heaviest rain and more widespread coverage of showers and storms will remain west where you see some of these green areas that's 3 to 4 inches of rain. And today alone zooming into the city, there was a pocket of rain between Leon Valley and Shirts between Kirby and windcrest that picked up on average 3 to 5 inches. But notice where the radar is estimating northeast of windcrest, a pocket estimating 6 to 7 and that was just in a couple hours time, which is why there was flooding along I 35 towards the downtown area uh between there. Um Also near Castle Hills, it was a large swath of rain that again, that ranged from 3 to 5 inches from earlier today. The hour by hour forecast again, more scattered rain, a few storms in the area that could aggravate some of the areas that have already seen flooding earlier today by four and five pm. More of the same scattered rain heaviest rain out west by 10 p.m. tonight. I think we're quiet tomorrow morning. Uh, another small chance in a couple of isolated showers, but I think today will be the best chance right now in the forecast, high pressure out west watch. What happens with this low across the Midwest? It moves farther northeast. Yes, that's far from us. It's not gonna do much. But what it will do is drawing some drier air. It'll move across South Texas and that'll push out the humidity by Sunday, Monday and Tuesday early next week. What that's gonna mean for you and I, well, better afternoons, lower humidity and comfortable mornings take a look at the 14 day forecast. So we still have an impact alert day for today just for additional development. 50% on scattered rain, 90 on Wednesday and then 90 on Thurs a 40% chance at additional showers and a couple of storms by the end of the week. But notice by the weekend it starts to really trend down lower to middle nineties and then look at the mornings by Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Next week, we're looking at the sixties high as near 90 with very low humidity and very dry and comfortable air. We'll be right back.
