hey friends listen up Beetlejuice is back and this time he's making an even bigger splash I just saw Beetlejuice too and wow it feels like they've taken everything from the first movie and cranked up the fun Factor let's dive into why this film has become such a massive hit check this out Beetle juu 2 raped in a whopping $41.5 million on its very first day that's the second biggest opening for any September release ever and let me tell you I haven't seen this much excitement for a movie in long time it hit $ 4,575 theaters and pulled in $13.5 million just from Thursday previews they're expecting it to reach $100 million by the end of the weekend pretty amazing right oh and one more thing we always try to give you the most details in the least amount of time so quickly hit that like button subscribe to the channel and click all notifications so you don't miss any updates now the story picks up right where the first movie left off Michael Keaton his back as Beetlejuice and trust me he's even crazier and funnier this time around Winona Ryder also returns as Lydia de and honestly it brought back all my childhood memories and get this Jenna Ortega who's been killing it in the Wednesday series is playing Lydia's daughter astred if you ask me she's absolutely perfect for this role this time Lydia and astred return to their old spooky house and then bam the story takes a Twist astred has to deal with bullies at school and just when everything starts looking down guess who shows up yep Beetle Juice there's chaos Mayhem laughter it's all here plus a whole bunch of new characters now let's talk about the makeup and costumes Christine blundel has done an incredible job she's kept that classic Beetlejuice style while adding some new twists that are on another level and William defo who's playing an afterlife law enforcement officer I mean who even comes up with these ideas but somehow It just fits perfectly and he's fantastic in it the movie premiered at the Venice film festival and got a 4-minute standing ovation 4 minutes can you believe it people are in love with this thing both critics and audiences are digging it with a 77% critic score an 84% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and to be honest I'm with that 84% audience this movie is totally awesome and a big shout out to Warner Brothers for going all out on the marketing campaign posters Trail promotions this movie was everywhere no wonder the opening was so huge so guys Beetlejuice 2 has proven that some Classics never get old if you haven't seen it yet grab your friends and head to the theater as soon as possible it's a perfect mix of horror and fun and you'll love it and yes if you like this video don't forget to like comment and subscribe see you in the next video Until then stay tuned and keep watching
