s did you forget who I am what is going on everyone we are watching Transformers 5 the last night I have not seen this movie and so I thought I would join these two jokers in watching this film Jokers I thought a lot about this going into it cuz this is the film that made the least money out of all the Transformers films right the one before with Mark Wahlberg grossed over a billion dollars and this one gross 600 million at the box office the critics across the board are like no good but you guys are clicking on this and I'm like why so there's a couple of reasons one would be you're hardcore fans of Transformers and you want to see us fall in love with it too or you dislike it and you want to see us in pain or three you just really like Steph and Kristen and just want to watch them for an hour so all reasons are valid taking that into consideration let's move forward here and enjoy this as much as we can here we go Transformers the last night oh they came in they're getting their asses kicked whatever farting I would not want to get hit with one of those balls sorry that sounded so bad sound really bad I will lay down my life for you but this Merlin Merin he's no wizard that was like my thought and fear the entire time so I'm I'm glad you enjoyed it that's that's super cool to learn I had fun with visuals like you like like Kristen was saying uh just the scope of it was super cool the way Michael Bay shoots cars shoots action or shoots shoots military movement and and operations all that looks great like he loves to just put [ __ ] right by the camera and it's just it's he's got his own style that's worked for him and I think all that's cool I just wish the movie was shorter it's like if it was like 2 hours maybe hour 45 I feel like there's actually a decent movie in there if like you're saying you just throw all the rules away cuz wow that ending made no sense to me um but like you just throw all the rules away and you just treat it like a really heightened anime kind of thing come to life it's fun right but it just it overstate its welcome for me I think it's the big thing it's like if you just trimmed it off trimmed off like 45 minutes you you've got actually a really solid film here and I think people would have liked a lot more but I think that's with all the Transformer films I think they get carried away with the whole like okay everything looks really cool but then you're stuck there for like almost an hour just fighting and you're like okay it was really cool but now you're kind of overstaying your welcome and if they would chop it and like condense that it would be a lot more enjoyable and a lot more like baller yeah like you were saying I I agree with that Anthony Hopkins totally made the movie for me like he he he did for me in this film what Mark Wahlberg did for me in part 4 um it's been a long time since I've seen part 4 but what I remember is Mark Wahlberg looked like he was having fun and I enjoyed the movie more because of him having fun in the movie it's like it just felt like you know they were just being Loosey Goosey and just having a good time I'm like that's what I wanted because the movie is silly I kind of liked it as well and I didn't like it so I have mixed feelings because I hated the ending but I this one yes I like the way it looked yeah yeah the broccoli I just didn't like the story line on the ending and whatever but I love the beginning the beginning going back in time like and all that stuff I really enjoyed that story line it would have been interesting to stay there but it's fine we came back yeah there so like and even the middle side like the middle ground was like okay this is interesting yeah but there's a uh there's a book called seven EES that I believe they're adapting into a movie or show or something it details how if the moon were to fall apart like that it would just rain Hellfire on earth like it it would the Earth would be just it would be 10,000 de or something insane and so the fact that that wasn't addressed and then you have this thing just just like carving through the Earth like that that's of that magnitude and it's not just setting the Earth on fire it's kind of crazy to me I don't know I'm not a physics so I don't know how that [ __ ] works I know but it's funny that he has someone who's like it's called physics like exactly he try to use half the rules but then I like screw it and to the point of Sor I'm trar to get you on camera all these unne like the longer run time than really necessary it's like I don't need to see the moon get blown up yeah yeah yeah for sure cuz it doesn't even make sense yeah lots of characters lots of things going on uh yeah so but the the thing is where it shined it really shined that's the thing about Michael Bay is like I wish he was like he had a co-director to kind of rein him in or something but maybe that would just never pan out I'm like at the very least he could be a great DP cuz like he makes [ __ ] look so amazing know um the way he moves the camera like he definitely has an eye and I always respect him for that and he made you know he's he's got a cool Vision it's just that yeah the story is just kind of nutso Bluto yeah anyway that's I guess that's all there is to say about it it was cool but it looked great love the locations I feel like we all around the world locations were awesome locations did look good set design amazing yes and Vivien was pretty she was was she was very pretty um they never fixed the hair situation that bothered you but that's okay it's a continuation continuity issue yeah but it's probably so hard on movies like this to work on that because they're so long and they probably moved stuff around yeah but anyway I had fun where I had fun
