ah Blake Lively what a woman you are I'm not going to lie to you guys I've been admiring Blake's style for the longest time and honestly even though I get why some people were annoyed by them I enjoyed her banter with her husband Ryan Reynolds for the most part so imagine me seeing everything that's been going on with her from movie scandals to lots of mean girl talk and then as if these were not enough her clothes within the movie and the Press tour shocked me like can you believe these two clothes are styled by the same person by the same person I mean Blake herself of course I don't know what happened if she's having a bad year or somehow she lost her styling charm or not but I know for sure that this is not it watch this video Until the End and please tell me if you think Blake needs to hire a stylist or if she's a fashion expert and we were all in the wrong here seriously guys I can't wait to hear your thoughts on our outfits let's start with her clothing style within the movie if you didn't know Blake was The Stylist herself in the movie so we know who to blame for all the fashion crimes that lily bloom has committed now some of you guys might think that I'm exaggerating when I say fashion crimes but I think the Tik Tok Trend that these outfits inspired would give you an idea of what kind of a disaster we are facing hey Lily you want to do the honors no you go ahead I I need to take it in from here first things first this is not Lily Bloom and I believe the ones who read the book it ends with us would agree with me Lily in the book is feminine delicate and effortlessly cool in her style in some ways she always gave me the impression of the French Chic aesthetic I feel like Blake focused on the effortlessly cool part so much that she lost a plot so we ended up with a style that channels a teenage girl who has no idea about what she wants to wear but she knows for sure that she wants to annoy her mom by adding all the trendy items on top of each other simply to fight the expectations for instance let's look at this look what do we see here we see a woman who Scrolls down on Pinterest way too much the leather jacket Trend check the boxers visible under the pants Trend check the denim on denim Trend check the print on print Trend check the suede boot Trend check the wrong shoe Theory check I mean is there any Trend that Blake left out in a single outfit seriously like this is the definition of Overkill here's another one admittedly this looks way better but again denim on denim is here the crop top is here suede boots are here clearly she had a theme in mind and wanted to stick to it but what was that theme I'm honestly clueless some interpreted her style as a reference to Lily's reserved nature due to the abuse she endured throughout the book and movie however we never see a transformation in our looks from beginning to end no matter what she goes through plus even though a lot of her clothing looked like shapeless sacks put on by a beautiful woman a lot of them are also sexy in a way but of course looking sexy does not necessarily mean they were aesthetically pleasing or fashionable by any means I think this one is a good example like this is a nice dress I'm not a fan of the color but I think the neckline looks amazing on Blake however the styling of it is so bad that we can't even realize that it is a good fit for Blake and her body can you imagine this dress in a way that is styled by a true stylist it could have been so good I mean look at this brother what's that what's that brother this is a crime against not only fashion but also Humanity she looks like a fisherman in Norway rather than a 20-some flower shop owner even though I really like cargo pants in general I think this is one of the worst ways I ever saw anyone styling them Al note to myself never wear your cargo pants this way hey Lily the military called and they want their uniforms back I mean wearing one camouflage is a choice in itself but wearing three different camouflage patterns on top of each other is a whole other level of styling blindness that I can't even fathom I really like the boots but that's it the sad thing is normally I get excited each fall to stick my pants into my boots to create a different silhouette I'm afraid this year Blake and Lily Bloom join their forces to ruin that for me and yes I'm mad in this case our teenage girl decided to wear her mother's clothes I don't know why but I appreciate the change for once that being said it still looks pretty bad once again the wrong shoe Theory did Blake wrong if you didn't know the wrong shoe theory is a fashion theory that claims you need to pick the unexpected shoe choice to complete your outfit since it makes you more stylish even though I get where this Theory comes from and have seen a lot of cases where the theory worked perfectly I think Blake got it completely wrong also can I add that her hair looks far from its usual glamour in this movie normally she has really good hair but in this specific movie in almost every scene her hair looks like an undone mess and I find it very ironic knowing that she dedicated the entire press store to promoting her new hair product line I just don't get it here even though her hair overshadows everything her clothing is the one that bleeds needs my eyes I'm sensing that she wanted to look effortlessly Chic but this is not effortless this is just careless it's giving I put on my father's clothes energy it's giving I have no idea what I'm wearing energy it's giving it is the laundry day energy and I don't Vibe with any single one of these energy types ah the infamous jumpsuit I mean I love jumpsuits there are those types of clothes that are one and done effortless cool chic it can be dressed up or down bed based on the occasion and might make her body look amazing if it fits you perfectly unfortunately Blake's jumpsuit is none of these things and that way it is an anomaly in the jumpsuit universe that's all I have to say about it where does Blake find all these patched jackets seriously guys I wasn't aware that we were in a patchwork jacket epidemic or perhaps I did not realize it because Lily Bloom bought all of them in the market Jesus if there's one thing that I learned from this fashion disaster is that not all Trends are for everyone not all Trends should be applied at once and layering does not necessarily make you stylish instantly the interesting thing to me is that in comparison to the dull colors shapeless Silhouettes and masculine cuts of the outfits in the movie Blake embraced a completely opposite style to represent the movie in the Press store if you saw her press store looks you know that she embraced all the floral outfits in the market they were all feminine colorful and fitting to her body the sad thing is still the stylish plake that we are used to seeing was nowhere to be seen yes most items were good in their own sense but they were not styled well plus I'm still trying to figure out why she embraced all those floral patterns to promote this specific movie like we all know that this movie is about DV not
