AP Top 25 Revealed- What Happened To Colorado?

what's going on y'all what's going on Greg Greg said it early in the week back with it here coming up on the final countdown of this Camp thing getting ready for the season and boy you know I'm not W to rush I mean life is moving fast enough let me tell you it is worth the wait man we got a lot going on with these Colorado Buffalo we got a lot to prove y'all doing it for us and I'm not one to live vicariously through some kids or you know sports like that you know I'm not a traditional sports fan but I want Colorado to do what they supposed to do cuz I'm I'm a person who stand for the truth and the truth is Colorado is a good team people throwing all kinds of unjust doubt and hate on them so you know that that's what really stirred me up more than anything you know but it's all supposed to be left on the field and that's where it's going to have to be played at at the end of the day they got to go get their respect now we just seen the AP Top 25 come out some people talking about it and of course Colorado is not in it and I guess the logic is Colorado was only won four games and y'all know how I feel about that narrative they made sure they only won four games they could have won five they could have won six could have won more but it was it was a very stringent effort to make sure that they win lose as many games as possible and win as few games as possible because I mean that the the effort was there I mean like I said yall know how I feel about that Utah game a lot of close games a lot of people even forget how close these games were cuz they just happen to say they lost and it fits that narrative even though they had some problems they were a better team than than that that four and eight whatever team we know that they had their flaws but we know that the talent was there and there some things they could have did better but hey it is what it is so of course that's used against them in a lot of ways but when you look at this year I noticed a little thing you know when you look at Greg said I kind of like to analyze it's hard to analyze stuff during the offseason just a lot of talk gossip rumor but there some things that I catch that maybe other people don't or maybe they don't talk about so that's how I bring my perspective and when I look at that top 25 list I noticed that it's seven SEC teams in the top 25 seven and that's typical and four of them is in the top 10 that's probably average even below average may maybe it change throughout the season but it's kind of hard cuz they they have to play each other and um even though they have little cupcake scheduled a lot of them they try to I don't know finesse their way into this playoff situation see like whoever making these schedules but cuz they have the cupcake games at the beginning and the end and they don't really play everybody so they can kind of choose I'm only going to play one or two real hard games I got to see see somebody in the SEC Championship they don't really go through each other one the conference is too big but they got seven total so they got the most and the second most I see the Big 10 you know everybody try to say the Big 10 and SEC other the big Wars you know and um bit 10 has five um five that's in the top 25 so that's decent but what I don't see people a lot of people really talking about because of the downplay especially with Colorado is they've had this downplay of the Big 12 in the competition and who they really have that can compete and nobody's really there and that's cute but the bit 12 right now has four teams in the top 25 and I'm just going to throw this little plug in there they lost two teams to the SEC so if you really want to knock on on on the Big 12 competition if they had have kept the teams that just lost this year if they had have kept Oklahoma and Texas they would have the most in the top 10 top 25 they would have the most if they had a kept Oklahoma in Texas just leaving everything as is right now they would have had six and the SEC would have had five and the AC and the and the the Big 10 would have five y'all y'all catch that I call it they would have had the most they would have had six everybody else would had five except poor ACC ACC only have two um which is Florida State and Clemson what I see and and Miami in Miami um I don't see what Clemson doing in there and I think Clemson might even be ranked higher than Miami um but I'm going to put it in the thumbnail so y'all can see it I just have little couple notes and I can't knock that Colorado is not in it because they need they have something to prove and we can't expect it I mean they want to use the measures based off a last year record and hoo haa that's fine but it's a debate going on about what it would take for Colorado to get in top 25 and I really don't think it should take much um last year after the first few games by the time they got up the Oregan they were ranked and then maybe you can say because of the shock factor and maybe because TCU was ranked in the top 20 when they beat him and then they turned around and beat Nebraska pretty handily and then they turned around and and and they it kind of barely beat Colorado State and so some people say okay well that's why um they deserve to be ranked even though everybody was ready for them to fall real quick because of the whole um Oregon situation coming up and the USC coming up right behind it and Oregon went through them but they kind of they tried to fight back with USC and far as conference play they they they struggled from that point on I think they beat Arizona State they should have beat they should have beat Stanford and the rest of the games were close except uh Washington and that's their record and people say oh well you you only one like one conference game everything Le conference and whatever whatever but you know we had a couple of weeks run with Colorado broke into not only the top 25 but the top 20 and it didn't take long so a lot of people saying hey they they could take five six weeks they got to go six weeks undef feed I'm like that's that's that's nonsense they not playing nobody that's nonsense because yeah you can use the rank thing against them but it's only going to be so many teams after week four going to week five this undefeated and you know you going to have to respect them um but the beauty is we see that Utah is around I think there around like 12 Arizona is in there uh Kansas and Kansas State those are the four teams that we see rank I think uh I know uh Utah is the I say highest rank they were uh or lowest rank whatever you want to call it where they're at 12 and I think I think Arizona is maybe second best and then I think it's Kansas I think Kansas State so I think Kansas State got the the worst rank but again they are none of them in the top 10 and the reality is I don't have the schedule we're going to get into all that as the season fars breaking it down on who play who we we and how this thing can break down but they all going to play each other every last one of those teams going to play each other it's not like other conferences where they might play some of them but they they don't play certain teams they only play two of them they going going to play Colorado's got to play every last one of those team I know they do and I know they said Colorado had one of the hardest schedules because of that and some of the schools don't play all the tough teams but Colorado play all the tough teams they ain't got no BYU and West Virginia and you know they got they you know they got Cincinnati and Baylor they don't they play all the top teams somehow I I can't speak for everybody else till I see the whole schedule breakdown so they going to have their chance to prove and that also tells me that some of the other teams going to play each other too so that's all going paying out but not only will it hurt the rankers like for Utah to lose it's been the highest ranked team that it would be oh we just lost our highest ranked team so really you want them to win as long as possible so when you beat them it has more value the thing about Utah they maintain their rank Colorado will see them pretty much like um the game before the last game or you know the game or two before the last game and then Oklahoma State um I'm not mistaken Oklahoma State should have been in there I think Oklahoma state was in there I think it was in there so I may it may be five Utah Arizona I know both Kansas was in there and I think Oklahoma State May a squeeze in there so they may have five anyway I'm going put that I'm put it in the in the thumbnail here so we can see what it looks like that's pretty decent for uh conference don't have no competition and it's good for Colorado cuz that means if these teams hold on to their rank just a little longer when Colorado beat them it won't be like oh you well we had them rank but they were sorry like TCU soon as you beat TCU they they rank you know they didn't want that rank to mean nothing even though when Colorado beat them they were ranked oh they really was that good anyway we want them teams that hold on to their Rank and possibly even get a little better rank so when Colorado beat them be like Pacman just be like you getting you you taking that Merit you taking the that the Valor from the points so you can be like we we beat ranked teams we beat four ranked teams we beat five ranked teams versus you only beat one ranked team so we going to try to rank you uh 16th or 12 uh don't let you make the top 12 for the playoff so the more ranked teams the better so for all that talk about this conference is not competitive Colorado don't play nobody tell that to the AP you know it looking very similar to how the rankers was kind of playing out from Pat 12 and it's rightfully so because you you got two of them came from Pat 12 that you're using to help aid up your ranking you lost two but you brought in two to help Utah Arizona is helping with the ranking of the Big 12 so it's looking like that far as rankings they I know Pat 12 at one point I think they had eight or nine out of the 12 ranked in the top 25 in that season and for people to say and a lot of people would say that Pat 12 probably was the second best conference last year but nobody want to get credit at that um it's it's like everywhere Colorado moving is like oh they're not that great cuz you already want to minimize what it means for them if they succeed so if they do succeed is like oh they Ain play Nobody oh they can't do it in SEC a lot of people want to say could they survive in sec I believe they could I see Tennessee is rank Tennessee have a good year every now and then um but everybody in the in the SEC not dogs SEC talk real big you know we got a couple guys from Kentucky from from uh from vanderbel we got guys from these different teams and um a lot of people would say well you know you can't even be Kentucky you can't even be ven but they play this little game like SEC is so Superior I remember when uh Utah went down there smack Florida last year and I remind somebody say that's they didn't even had a starting quarterback who supposed to be the guy he didn't even play you know Ry didn't even play last year and they went in there and smack Florida where that was the first game people move that gold post all around they mve the gold post all around to for their point to but the thing is some of these SEC teams ain't what they used to be I see Alabama still ranked like fifth they don't lost they Co you know the rules be different like they say Washington is not ranked because they they lost so many things they lost their coach well same thing happened to Alabama but they still rank five it's like you you giv weight to names so this year is going to be very telling it's already paning itself out because the rules change it's inconsistency it's a hypocrisy to it all you can rank this team because this that and that but you don't use that same measure for these other teams so certain teams their name is carrying them and they going to have to put up and I would like to see SEC more SEC forget all the cupcakes play each other you know more so you can go ahead and and see who really coming up out of there um because what happens is they they beat each other or they barely play each other and they get all the freaking rankings they get all the you know you in top 10 you got six of them from the SEC that's nonsense you get them so much weight off the name alone and the record they don't even play each other everybody else got to run through their whole conference the Colorado got to beat all the dogs there's nobody who's the man at Colorado get to skip now last year you can say they didn't have to play Washington but that was it so however this schedule set every guy who's supposed to beat somebody callado playing they play UCF who supposed to be whatever until you beat him then they was that good they play all these different teams they get not slide by nobody while in the SEC Georgia in certain years they can they can skip Alabama and vice versa or you know Old Miss or you know they don't have to play both Georgia and Florida typically they don't have to play all the top guys the all the rank teams don't play each other they may play one or two other ranked teams and the rest of the Cupcake People they can run through in the SEC and then they go play some Troy and suas sua Valley or somebody you know the beginning they go beat Georgia Tech like Georgia at the end and it's like man they they had about three three four gimme games not including the weaker teams in their conference so all they got to do is have a couple tough games not Los and those those games usually decide who going to go to the conference Championship um and it's heavy game because they lose like you seen last year Georgia didn't make the playoff cuz Alabama snuck them at the end but um that's the only thing I can see about it but I think it would be a lot more competitive if they always had to play each other and it's like I said it's not the day of old when everybody they play tough you couldn't escape it when they had when Florida was good and Auburn was good Georgia couldn't escape it cuz they had had to play those teams most of the time and yeah they they they may not play Alabama every year they would see them in the conference but they still had to make it through some tough Florida teams and some tough Auburn teams you know uh Mississippi State not really nothing you know so it's like when you the top tier team SEC they the same ones usually you make it to the conference Championship and now that you have a ensive playoff a lot of people expecting majority of them like half of the BCC and I don't I don't think that's fair but also it shouldn't be likely cuz they should be playing each other and if they're losing two three games don't say well two three game SEC game is the equivalent of one says who says who don't don't don't be silly cuz y'all don't all play all the top teams y'all y'all gonna lose somebody who's average if you losing two three games because you ain't really playing no no you the real dog and you really ain't playing but one of two other dogs so again if you put six games six teams in there all y'all ain't dogs so you you know it's going to be interesting how they decide who the ranking and and it should be what it is it should be that that Florida State stuff they undefeated they higher rank if they they lost one or two games and you lost four but you in SEC it don't it shouldn't matter so it's going to be interesting how they going to decide who to rank but like I said I expect Colorado to be a undefeated team going up just just looking that not going too far the first four into the five games they should be undefeated and if they not ranked by then you you got some serious stuff going on I don't putting that past these people uh I think in one fashion you want coach Prime in the playoff because you know the hype and on the other end you got the same people who wanted to milk every game out of him to see him so you can say he didn't make it he didn't make it and so the other people won't be inspired by him and come take all y'all coaching jobs all these gold jacket people or whatever you want to whever you want to put it coach Prime to seed some people got something to gain out of him losing and it is what it is and it it can get ugly it could be some some weird stuff going on with the referees you see the schedule a it's not weak it's not cupcake so it's going to be interesting keep your eye on this Colorado thing if you with them you with them keep a eye cuz these people try to pull one over they distract you and they throw all these fake stories out there and keep all the hype going keep your eye on what these people doing cuz we can't have another last I'm telling you it get weird just play football you can't beat them on the field don't do the weird stuff and we better watch the weird stuff and I don't know what we can do but we we need to keep an eye not slideing hand we don't need none of that cuz I believe all things equal Colorado got a chance to definitely get in that top 12 if they don't play with this little weird ranking thing you know they it's in
