Intro today we're going to do what the spreadsheet tells us and we're going to look at 12 wide receivers who did poorly fantasy football-wise and week one but we're going to look at the routes ran the targets the air yards their workload metrics to see whether or not we need to be buying these guys in fantasy football we're looking at the trends we're looking at the trends to see what to do and this is probably more for deeper leagues right now but for your traditional redraft leagues you need to identify these Trends as potential trade targets as potential numbers to look at going forward 3 weeks from now you'll have a bigger sample and you'll be able to draw on these players a little bit more but we're also looking at a one game sample which is going to impact the numbers greatly cuz you can't add multiple games to it and there's game scripts involved and everything else so you're going to have to look at the numbers and we'll theorize with it but those theorizing we're trying to look at and project forward to Future games and outcome but these are 12 wide receivers that you could potentially make a move for right now but before we again you got to click that subscribe button right now because we're doing deep Dives every day on these players we're trying to find those cheap players to buy for redraft dynasty deeper redraft leagues looking at the values for DFS looking for those guys who are just emerging who are just pul sitting right now with the workload metrics that could go off in the right matchup we're looking for for those fine edges to help you win your league we use these videos to help you set your lineups as well click that button stop Amari Cooper Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 missing out the first wide receiver we're looking at today is Amari Cooper he was targeted nine times had a 20.9% Target share ran 53 routes a 94.6 route participation rate he is rostered in most leagues if not all leagues I am catching comments where a lot of weird guys got dropped this week A lot of people are going cra crazy over the waiver wire and I'll say the players on the waiver wire this week they're not they're not many League winners if any if any it's not a waiver wire batch of players that I would be too excited about from a macroeconomic standpoint he got 170 air yards and a 45.7% air share part of that is because the Browns were horrible against the Cowboys are behind most of the game it was a bad trailing with deshun Watson just getting roow doog messing up on a lot of pass attempts the thing about this Deshawn Watson's got to get right not every defense is going to be the Cowboys but the bright spot here with Amari Cooper nine targets 20% Target share he's getting the Deep ball too so he's kind of going to have like a wh Fuller effect here because DeShaun Watson on his end isn't going to connect too much but Ami Cooper is going to have some games where he brings in those deep targets so what I'm looking Atari Cooper and the situation from what we see from the small sample is a player that will probably have some big games but a lot of bad ones as well we're probably going to see he caught two balls for 16 yards he had a lot of opportunities well kind of opportunities but they were there where if it would have connected he probably would have hit pretty big 18.9 ADT is elites he's got a good Target share a 20 plus% Target share with an eight out over 15 is nasty and that's a player you want to look at but again one game sample DeShaun Watson not looking good maybe we reel it back in maybe we get some opportunity but the opportunity Elijah Moore Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 is there but also his teammate Elijah Moore six targets 14% Target share so the target share is kind of low it's kind of low there but the targets were up but he ran a lot of routes and he had a 92.9% route participation rate he was on the field a lot he was getting that work rate in and was in on 93% of the snaps 22 a yards a 3.7 average depth of Target so since the target share is not above 20% and is 8 ODS low I'm kind of staying away but if I'm in a deeper league and knowing that he's running 52 routes and running a 92.9% route share and getting some volume here with six targets I'm thinking about him I will never put him in my lineup unless I absolutely have to but if I'm like a 20 Team league or something like that I know the routes are heavy here the snap share is heavy I'm thinking about it if if I have to make a move cland Sutton Courtland Sutton Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 might be a buy and traditional redraft and maybe all formats because he's cheap and he's in this Denver offense with a rookie quarterback that's going to be in these weird game scripts where they're going to have to throw the ball but he's got an elite Target share at 28.6% Elite amount of targets at 12 ran a lot of routes pushing a 95% route participation rate 163 air yards and a 61.7% air share a share of those air yards that's Elite all the work rate metrics are Elite a 13.6 a DOT is very good so over 20% Target share a double digit a DOT we're running a lot of routes and he's cheap he did not produce four catches 38 yards and we look at the future here I don't expect B Knicks to light it up to the point where they have heavy leads in every game and it's tight game scripts it's probably going to be some games where it was like this where he's going to have to throw the ball he's going to have to learn he's going to get opportunities B Knicks did progressively look a little better every quarter with more attempts they allow him to throw up 42 times I expect courland Sutton to have a good Target share I expect him to run a lot of routes and get a good a DOT and I expect them to have some good weeks here and it might be off and on it might be due to the circumstances of the offense but if you're looking for a cheap wide receiver to trade for if you're in a deeper format or if you're in Dynasty you're trying to find someone cheap someone with some work rate but you do not want to pay a first round pick you want to pay something very cheap maybe like a third round pick a rookie draft pick or if you're in a traditional redraft league and you're trying to figure something out for your lineup or for some depth courland Sutton could give Josh Reynolds Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 you some good depth here with this workload Josh Reynolds is a guy you may want to look at off the waiver wire people were looking at V but B's a outs very low we're a 9.1 average death of Target here for Josh Reynolds who's a veteran who has been off and on productive when I mean productive a game here and there as a spot start or a spot production for Fantasy off and on throughout his career eight targets 19% Target share that's a good Target share it's a little bit below 20% but we are there a good route participation rate at 84.3% so we're out there running routes 73 air yards 27.7% share of the air yard so he's getting volume he's getting workload for traditional redraft I'm watching this I don't know if I can pick him up DF best I might make some moves just to mess around if I'm doing a ton of lineups Dynasty if you're really hurting you might be able to get him off waivers and maybe you can trade a guy that's just hovering on the back end of your lineup for a fourth to third round pick and pick up a guy like Josh Reynolds and then you're getting like 90% of that guy's production and you're getting a pick on top of that maybe you want to do that especially if you're middle of the road or something Rashad Rashod Bateman Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 baitman these numbers are fascinating traditional redraft you're staying away right now but all fantasy Gamers need to watch Rashad baon he got five targets and 12 a half% Target share the target shares dog it's not good but we ran a lot of routes 45 of them 88.2 route participation raid on top of that on those five targets we got 120 air yards it was deep ball City and 8 out of 24 which is past Elite that's big time so you're watching these numbers you're watching the targets routes ad do going forward and how he's being used he's not being used appropriately to a skill set he should be used more underneath middle part of the field breaking off routes but they're allowing him get down field get deep targets so with that being said if this continues you're with Lamar Jackson he's going to provide some boom weeks here and there and it's just going to happen it's going to be random so if you're looking for a cheap wide receiver for DraftKings FanDuel randomly week six eight something like that and this a DOT holds up and he keeps getting deep targets even if his a Dot's like at 15 or so 15's Elites 24 is massively Elites if he continues to get deep targets and he's getting four or five deep shots a game you're going to have to make some moves for him on top of that traditional redraft you're not looking at him right now but if you get decimated with injuries and by weeks and you're looking for a deep shot player kind of like a rashed Shahed but definitely not rostered definitely sitting there on waivers that's going to get about five targets a game and getting those deep shots if this continues he's going to be a guy to look at to gamble with Dynasty he's free I'm not buying buying but Demarcus Robinson Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 those deep shots might help you down the line to set lineups we're looking at Demarcus Robinson everybody's running to him off the waiver wire I would get him over Tyler Johnson but I think it's closer than realized Tyler Johnson was cheaper so if you're doing bids or if you was doing bids the odds are you put a couple chips down on him you get him on the cheap you'll get some targets that way Demarcus Robinson you would have to put a little bit more down to win him on the Fab but seven Targets 14.6% target share you want the target should to increase a bit we'll see more next week how that turns out but we're running a lot of routes 92.2% route participation rate he's on the field he is going to be on the field running routes so those targets could go up we do have a history being productive in this offense we're getting a good ad dot he's the guy to get due to the work rate we don't have a shallow ad dot it's a good one Tyler Johnson ADOT was like 4.4 it was shallow his is deeper and he's running a lot of routes the targets are going to come his way we have a history Andrei Iosivas Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 of being productive Demarcus Robson good bet off the waiver wire and now we got Yoshi a lot of people soured on him due to the production and that's just going to change when T Higgins comes back but eight Targets in this matchup 18.6% Target share you can't hate that we ran a lot of routes over 100 air yards with 116 and 31.2 air yard share can't hate that he did not score 11.2 fantasy points more like 6.6 but still three balls caught 26 yards not good so if the Bingos get hit with injuries again he's a guy to take a flyer on if you absolutely need to Calvin Ridley seven Calvin Ridley Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 Targets in this match up against the Bears he's going to get workload he's going to get deeper targets he's going to get fun that's going to lead to fantasy points down the line that's just going to happen if this continues it may not but he's going to be over 20% Target share we projected that easily in the preseason especially when you looked at him with the Jaguars he had about a 23% Target share he should be around 23 25% Target share by the end of the season with everything counted for he's going to run a lot of routes he's going to get good deep targets that's going to lead to some productive games so if you're looking for a cheaper wide receiver this could be a guy to get that's a vet Tyler Boyd honestly I'd be looking at Tyler Boyd Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 more Ridley but Boyd if you're looking for something off waivers that's getting wor 18.5% Target share that's not high enough for me to get excited 89 and a half route participation rate I think there are going to be a few games where he splashes but they're just going to be random and you're not going to know but he is going to have those moments for redraft I'm not looking at him for dynasty if I'm patching things up he's free he's free I guess but that's only if you're patching things up he's not a buy he's not a sell he's a patch-up player that you're just hoping for the best if I had him on my team though and I could find something else off the waiver wire that's similar to this I would let him go for a pick of like a fourth or fifth rounder and get somebody else I'm not too fatuated with them he's aged 29 and all that but again redraft traditional redraft you're not looking Romeo Doubs Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 at him Romeo dubs rostered in a lot of leagues and he got a lot of workload here with seven targets and a 21.9% Target share the quarterback situation is going to be sus for the next few weeks that's something you got to monitor but when he comes back he's a guy to look at last year he was in the waiver wire articles every single week I Tank Dell Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 expect that this year but he's going to be a guy with good Target share just sitting on the waiver wire that you can gamble with that's probably what Romeo dubz is going to be for the remainder of his career tank Dell if you're looking for a veteran or a year two guy a young guy that has previously been productive to buy this might be the opportunity three balls caught 40 yards so about seven fantasy points depending on the format seven targets 22% Target share We R A lot of routes over a 100 air yards of a outt of 15 he will have a deeper a DOT now that I think about Stefon Diggs is going to get those shorter targets and these wide receivers for the Texans they're going to be a carousel one's going to hit one's going to do okay one's not going to do okay and it's going to be different week in week out that's what we kind of see as a trend when you see a team using three wide receivers like this and at this rate for the Texans this is Elite work rate Elite usage Elite targets for these receivers you want them rostered in all leagues if Amon-Ra St. Brown Fantasy Football Start Sit Week 2 you're trying to catch a wide receiver on the cheap take Dell could be a guy this week Aman ra St Brown no one's trading him no one's dealing him but the spreadsheet says hey look at Aman ra St Brown I did not pick these players the spreadsheet dead these are guys who ran a lot of routes these are guys that saw T Target these are guys that did not score a lot of fantasy points caught three balls 13 yards 21% Target share so maybe take a feeler see if you can catch them check your waiver I've seen weird stuff from commenters I heard Devonte Smith on waivers other guys on waivers a lot of crazy stuff's happening a lot of people getting fomo after week one a lot of people overreacting and that's usually not the case historically with those questions that's why I'm really saying hey you got to kind of listen to some of this because you might catch someone tripping in your league and a thousand people's probably going to watch this one person might be able to swing it on on Raw one person after what he did last week but these routes are there he ran 100% of them he was on the field he gets the short ADOT he's always has that's just part of his game but he gets opportunities I expect him to get a 25 to 30% Target share his Target should should ramp up in other matchups but I'm not worried about am Ross Brown if anything I'm Buy let me know what you think in the comments below I'll probably have more videos like this as I keep scraping through the spreadsheets finding these players who weren't productive but getting a lot of targets running a lot of routes getting opportunity let me know what you think comments below though make sure you hit that subscribe button on the way out one thank for watching catch you on next video [Music]
