[Music] the dragons and Raiders Clash on Saturday afternoon I'm Paul jodka joined by former dragon in Shantel sters to break down this encounter and shaa your old side they got a very important win last week in great fashion because that confidence helped them to do it again versus the Raiders this round yep absolutely coming off the back of a win and a very good one will always give you confidence yeah absolutely there was a change obviously during the week big news coach Jamie sard he won't be continuing in that role from 2025 onwards how do you see that affecting how and George aaar go about their business for the remainder of this year yeah for the remainder of the Season it could go either way but that's always a possibility but I do know that s has invested a lot of belief and faith in the young players who have come through the pathway he's been really committed to building those players so that there is a lot of um promise in the future for the dragons and a really good pathway so I think that for the remainder of the Season they're really going to come out with fight for him okay will be interesting to see let's turned to the Raiders they were beaten by The Roosters last week despite going out to a lead early strong showing in their in augural season Unfortunately they haven't found the same form or at least in the wind column in 2024 can you point to the reasons why it's hard they are an outstanding team they have a great list on paper their first halves actually are really good and even so they score the first try in a lot of cases it's I don't know exactly what it is but I think that they need to add a little bit more extra factor to what they're doing at the moment back ended games that expect them yep exactly and you can see every other team who is making their way up the table up the ladder is doing that they are elevating to another level so the Raiders aren't doing overly bad but they do need to add some Mi Factor well both teams with little bits of points to prove a onepoint win to camra last time they played do you expect it to be as close this time round and who do you see coming on top oh this is another hard one it get yeah yeah it gets hard every week and the dragons certainly have something to fight for the Raiders even have more so something to fight for they are absolutely desperate for a win but I do think that the dragons have confidence and they can take it out this week all right thanks shie if you want to see this match live go to nrl.com tickets if you can't get to the game you can still watch it on Channel 9 fox tail Sky New Zealand or k kickoff is at 12:45 he
