that the coalition government of Justin Trudeau which was running with the support of jmit Singh has come under threat jmit Singh in the end has done a major betrayal with Justin Trudeau by withdrawing his support there was a political deal between jmit Singh and Justin Trudeau where jmit Singh's party was supposed to support Justin Trudeau till 2025 or Beyond however if you think about it this is a huge betrayal by jmit Singh Justin trudo had refrained from taking any action against the khalistani elements just to keep jmit Singh happy he strained relations with India made numerous statements against India on various issues and created many difficulties for Indian students but in the end when you follow the wrong path the result is bound to be bad now you can see that the Canadian government is under threat the same jmit Singh for whom Justin Trudeau did all this has in the end withdrawn his support now let me explain to you what the current situation is in the Canadian Parliament after jmit Singh withdrew his support when could the next elections take place in Canada and what will be the impact on India Canada relations the Canadian parliamentary system is may seem like a small number but as we know from India when a large party doesn't have a majority parties with 20 15 or even 10 MPS can become kingmakers by forming a coalition and helping to run the government even in India today a coalition government is running the same thing happened in Canada the liberal party was able to run the the government with the support of jmit Singh's party this is why we also saw that Justin Trudeau was very supportive of jmit Singh on the issue of kistan Justin trudo expected that his political deal with jmit Singh would continue and that jmit Singh would support him in the next elections as well scheduled for 2025 but jmit Singh is an extremely opportunistic leader he realized that Justin trudo's problem was not just that he didn't have enough seats Workforce the people starting their careers are finding it hard to get good jobs when they try to buy a house they are shocked by the prices from an econom perspective Justin trudo's policies have completely failed jmit Singh understood that whether or not he supports Justin Trudeau Justin Trudeau is almost certain to lose the next election in 2025 so jmit Singh decided to distance himself now so that during the election he could point fingers at Justin Trudeau saying that he failed to manage the Canadian economy that he couldn't create jobs control inflation or bring down housing prices jmit Singh has cleverly safeguarded his political ker but the question now is whether there will be snap elections in Canada the chances of snap elections happening have increased significantly all that is needed now is a vote of confidence in the parliament to test whether Justin Trudeau still has the majority it seems unlikely that Justin Trudeau will be able to prove a majority with just 154 MPS and in that case the government will fall and Canada may face elections again in Canada the trend we are seeing suggests that a right-wing government could easily come to power the most popular leader in Canada right now is Pier POA the leader of Canada's conservative party which is their right-wing party Pier pover completely disagrees with Justin trudo's policies especially his handling of relations with India if elections are held soon Po's right-wing political party will likely come to power they may need some support but they will get it possibly from The People's Party and they will form a government in that case we can expect a major reset in India Canada relations Justin Trudeau in an attempt to cover up his economic failures had shockingly started blaming Indian students he imposed many restrictions on Indian students saying that there would now be a 24hour work limit for international students mainly affecting Indian students they would only be allowed to work 24 hours a week supposedly to create more job opportunities for Canadian Nationals Justin trudo also made it very diff difficult for Indian students to get residency in Canada arguing that if Indian students became residents it would drive up property prices even more but again when your economy is fundamentally weak what will you achieve by imposing restrictions on International students if your economy is not producing jobs what difference will these restrictions make Justin Trudeau has tried to blame India and Indian students for the problems but his political party has realized that the Canadian public will not accept this argument and he is bound to lose the next election so they have distanced themselves from him now a major change is coming in Canada which will have a very positive impact on India the biggest thing is that the next G7 Summit is being hosted by Canada and if just and trud though is not there at the time it will be more comfortable for us we will be able to discuss
