it was important that he was um an amalgam of fabri fabrication because we wanted to be able to position him in the story just just just so um and so to have had to base him on on on the agents wouldn't have really given us that freedom um and to just to follow on from what Zach said what was interesting to me was playing someone who thought that the battle was done there was something very interesting that he to me represents an awful lot of us meaning you know uh the he he felt that his hardest work was behind him and suddenly he had possibly his biggest task yet ahead and it felt a little bit like a lot of us now maybe where we feel like you know um if you you could have said 10 years ago that perhaps the world was in a slightly different state and in fact we still got a lot of work to do um and uh what was wonderful working with Justin was just being able to really lean in bed in this the the authenticity of this guy his relationship or non- relationship with his family the crutches that he sort of Lent on to to survive and to to get through this life whether it was the smoking the drinking all of that taking its toll and uh it was always interesting we felt we wanted to we always wanted to to create this the question can he do it will he do it because he was up against such a a formidable Force there's definitely a handsomeness I didn't I didn't really think about that um I I mean there was um there was a sort of lived in quality to him that I en enjoyed uh investigating um there was a lot of discussion about facial hair uh and uh we uh but but I mean every every agent I interviewed had a mustache so it just was a given I had to grow a mustache it was almost it almost became a joke that everyone every every agent I I I interviewed had yeah an enormous Tash so that just became I guess I was hiding behind that there was a question down there was down there
