H how's it going everybody Cameron here with Canadian gamer coming at you with another video now today we are talking about the PS5 Pro which was recently announced available November 7th 2024 now depending on the region you live in prices may vary console is going to be $699.99 USD and in Canada the console is going to be a whoppy [Music] $959,000 Canadian and you say to yourself that is a lot of money you know you can get an entrylevel PC for that price true true and there's a lot of YouTubers out there trying to roast the PS5 Pro as being a ripoff lot of upset basement dwellers out there that are saying there's not enough of a difference to Warrant upgrading to a PS5 Pro over the bass PS5 oh oh oh I'm here to tell you that's not true that's not true ladies and gentlemen and I'm going to explain that to you right now so the first thing right out of the gate people are complaining again when we say people we're talking about people in the Retro Gaming Community we're not talking about people in the real world they complaining that the console doesn't have a doesn't come with a disc drive complaining about that so let me tell you this folks for every YouTuber or commenter that is complaining about this there are thousands and thousands and thousands of high income households out there parents that will buy this console for little Timmy and guess what they don't care about the disc drive because guess what nobody cares about physical media anymore It's All Digital okay we're not living in the mid90s John lenman okay get with the times yes I love physical media just as anyone else does but we're not talking about me okay we're talking about the rest of the population that has moved on from that dead format so that's why the PS5 Pro doesn't come with the disc drive it has the option for those like John linman who need to have one you can go out and buy one or if you've got an existing one you can it's my understanding you can you can latch it onto this console here so why is this thing worth the asking price well let me tell you as someone who owns an Xbox series X which is basically the same as a PS5 as far as Hardware is concerned we're not talking about games my biggest gripe with this generation has been the fact that you can't have your cake and eat it to you want to play your games with Ray tracing turned on then you got to play your games at 30 frames per second you want to play your games at 60 FPS then the graphics take a hit I can't stand that I can't stand that so with the PS5 Pro they've rectified that so now you can play all of your games for the most part as far as I'm aware okay in quality mode and performance mode at the same time so it is absolutely worth it absolutely and you know the ones that are complaining are the ones that already shelled out whatever it was $599 bucks when they bought a PS5 and they're just upset because you know they have to spend $700 USD or 1,000 bucks Canadian to buy a new one well guess what sell your old one sell your old one and then you're not paying $6.99 anymore for a new one right sell your old one it's not rocket science oh my God and and the biggest thing that gets me of all the the ones that complain are are you broke ass you broke ass you broke you're acting like 699 bucks or in my case 1,000 bucks you're act you're acting like that's a lot of money like whoever's complaining about that you're obviously broke as a joke because the rest of us out there they got real bills to pay okay 1,200 bucks is a drop of water in the toilet it's nothing it's nothing at all so yes the PS5 Pro is absolutely Sublime the fact that you can actually play your games in 8k or whatever it's going to be at 60 FPS giving you an entrylevel PC like experience on a budget let's be honest here let's be honest it's a hell of a deal it's a hell of a deal to the point where I may have to buy one honest to God I may have to buy one the PS5 Pro is what the PS5 wasn't and what should have been okay let's just let's just call it as it is okay and if you don't like the price of the PS5 Pro fine wait for it to go on sale because [Music] eventually eventually it probably will or at at at worst case it'll replace the original PS5 and you'll just have the PS5 Pro and the PS5 slim that's my guess but for you broke ass that are complaining about this console being too expensive for what it is oh it doesn't have a dis Drive oh again we are living in the digital era go to your local Walmart there's hardly any games for sale Okay GameStop is hurting so bad because there's no more I shouldn't say no more physical releases but the appetite from the consumer to go into the store to buy a physical game is not there anymore so GameStop has to resort to opening these Boutique retro GameStop stores okay to generate profit because they're not making any money off of the physical games so do I think the PS5 Pro is too expensive not for me it's not okay maybe the 13-year-old CG yeah it would have been too expensive but if I want to go up and buy a PS5 Pro which again maybe I will I definitely could I've got other things on the go you know maintenance around the property car Main maintenance other life expenses that make this seem like Child's Play okay I'm sorry it's true and I don't have a PS5 I don't have a PS5 I never bought one so at this stage in the game if I do buy one it's going to be the pro okay and I got news for you this thing is going to be sold out okay don't listen to Dreamcast guy don't listen to all the naysayers outside of there being a Nintendo switch 2 or Rel least holiday 2024 which I don't think that's going to happen the PS5 Pro is going to be the hottest ticket in town okay the scalpers are going to latch on to this okay people are going to be paying 500 600 $700 over overprice over window sticker for this bad boy so for all you guys out there that are bitching and moaning about the PS5 Pro again you guys are just salty broke ass that are upset that you bought a PS5 when you should have waited okay and now you can't afford a PS5 Pro and you're too lazy to sell your PS5 okay that's that's your problem okay me I'm probably going to get
