hello hello hello you're tun to another episode of The Wonder King show today's topic yes we're going to be talking about the o line coach that has passed for the ball more Ravens look um death is never an easy thing man it just oh my gosh that's why I tell people all the time to make the most of your time with your loved ones the people that you care about tell them you love them now tell them you love them now because tomorrow is not promised to no man none and this is such a great example of it he looked like he was in great shape 70 years old I don't know about you guys 70 is not no like uber I mean it's old but it's not like oh my God old he was in good condition walking around working out the whole night he was in great shape for a 70 year old moving around mobile running the whole night everything was fine ready for another season of football the man's a grandfather father h a husband oh he goes into the hospital for for something he's gonna be a Hiatus he'll be back and just like that declines and he's gone I want to give condolences from the wonderin show uh for Mr Joe um you know it just man it hits hard I don't want to hear nothing about football right now even though he's a football footb coach there's nothing about football I want to hear for today um you know it's just sad and anybody that has lost loved ones I I try to have empathy towards um people wholeheartedly because if you have lost somebody you know how it feels it feels like a piece of you is being ripped off piece of you is being broken off a piece of you is being separated you know and I can only imagine how those grandkids are going to take it that their grandfather can't come home or not coming home the grandmother the kids you know what I mean losing a parent is so hard you know I you know I I told y'all last October um I went to bury my grandmother in uh Jamaica and uh I watched it just rip my mom to shreds and it was a hard thing to watch because the one thing that's promised to all of us on this planet is death Rich poor black white famous not famous great shape not great shape obese small petite that's what you're promised so it's just one of those things that it's like the circle of life but it does not make it any easier and I watched my mom just go through it I watch my father with his mother and father also so I just I I tell people and I always try to give empathy to them and I know there's some people that has no empathetic bones in their body I already know that so to y'all you know I don't want to hear nothing crazy don't say nothing disrespectful please you know send your condolences man you know a lot of these players are feeling it too you know a lot of times we look at them as like robots ta t18s and all that type of stuff like on what's egga you know what I'm saying and don't realize they're human beings they have feelings they they they build relationships they build you know camaraderie they build love they build uh uh friendships lifetime friendships with people you know how many players do you think now you know will be at some of his weddings and stuff like that for his kids and think about it that's that's what happens you build relationships and you get close to people and then it's just done gone you know I what's that one there was a Twitter guy I remember it was something like she sent uh I remember that it was a it was a I believe a a couple sent out a Thanksgiving uh thing to like this young guy and I love that story and uh he responded to it and said oh it's okay it was the wrong number but I hope you want he's like hey well you know you can still come through it's fine he's like well I'll take you up on an offer and they just kept it going every year even after the husband from the couple passed away and he got with his is I'm talking about they're close now and that's what I'm saying I don't I mean yes the Raven season starts literally in a week and a half I get it I mean the the fifth it's a week and a half it's crazy yeah but um even with that being said I don't want to hear nothing about it this is the this stuff is bigger than football man and I know that I don't know this man but man I can only imagine what it's like for them you know because think about it as even M of fact since some of y'all like the foot let's take it to the football thing imagine you're getting ready for the first game of the season you're like all right guys we're we're in this together because that's what you you have to buy in wholeheartedly buy into not only the program you got to buy into the you got to buy into the other players as your brothers the coaches as your brothers all coming together for one com common goal and right before the season starts you lose one of your brothers that's not easy it's not funny it's not cool it's not it it it's man you know what I mean it just it's a tearjerker man it really is you know y'all ever watch the movie up bro listen that's one of the saddest if not the most heart-wrenching beginning to a movie I can ever imagine like straight up worse than bamb be worse than all of them youever watch the movie up they were so happy so happy and they're got all these plans and the years keep going by and you know one year turns to five years five years turns to 20 20 turns to 50 and all of a sudden that person that you have done all this stuff with built a relationship with been through ups and downs you have literally become a life partner with gone imagine what it is for his his wife his kids and that's the worst part about it um is that all of us we're going to make condolences we wish you got praying for you guys that's what we're all going to say because we're not we don't know them personally you see when all those condolences stop and you're in that house in the dark house by yourself that's when this thing truly hit you that's where the prayers come from that's where the pay prayers are going to because everyone's going to be at with you for the funeral the reception the buildup to the funeral and then after that happens life just keeps going on so I just hope everybody is okay I hope everybody is doing well I hope everybody is well well well read well well prayed up because like I said tomorrow is not promised to any of us rest in peace Mr Joe Coach Joe rest in peace sir God bless um I also want to say it's crazy too because I'm coming up on another year my birthday is August 29th you know what I'm saying saying shout outs to me so that's another reason why this hits hard right cuz I'm watching another cyc of the life come through and I'm looking at the years I'm like man I was just 22 years old I was just 25 years old now I'm in my 30s and I'm like man the bro I could remember the Y 2K bug [Laughter] like you remember when ABC family was still still a channel I remember tape decks VCRs cassette players eight tracks in the old long big body lincol that the old players used to drive and my uncle used to have one all baby blue Powder baby blue one you always used to have that orange a track in there I remember when Red Box first came out I remember when red box came out and put Blockbuster out of business and now red box is out of business KB Toys toys are R Us man please if you're watching this I hope this gets to somebody because somebody might need to hear this tell the people you love that you love them don't save it don't like I said before tomorrow's not promised they want to hear it now give them their flowers now cuz that day that you're like I'mma do it
