following the rapid sellout of tickets for Oasis highly anticipated reunion tour in 2025 the band has issued a Stern warning to fans about the dangers of purchasing tickets from secondary Market websites on August 30th tickets for a limited pre-sale of the band's stadium tour scheduled for the summer of 2025 became available to those who had won a spot in the ticket ballot the overwhelming demand caused major ticketing websites including Ticket Master gigs and tours and C tickets to crash as a result fans who missed out on the pre-sale were directed to the general sale which began at 9:00 a.m. on August 31st despite the best efforts of many most were unable to secure a ticket in the wake of the initial sale tickets began appearing on resale platforms such as viogo often at significantly inflated prices in response Oasis has issued a statement cautioning fans against these secondary sellers the band has partnered with twickets a platform that allows fans to sell tickets at face value and emphasizes that only tickets resold through Ticket Master and twickets are legitimate oasis's statement reads please note Oasis Live 25 tickets can only be resold at face value via Ticket Master and twickets tickets appearing on other secondary ticketing sites are either counterfeit or will be cancelled by the promoters while it remains unclear how Oasis will verify the legitimacy of tickets purchased through secondary Services fans are advised to avoid these platforms to prevent the risk of acquiring counterfeit tickets Tom Keel chief executive of UK music echoed these concerns during an appearance on the BBC Radio Today Show Keel urged music fans to avoid secondary sites highlighting the risks associated with these platforms obviously it's a natural tendency if you can't get tickets to find alternative sources but I very much urge music fans today if they don't get tickets not to take that route the demand for tickets is so high that Oasis may consider adding more dates to their tour currently the tour will feature 17 stadium shows across the United Kingdom and land the tour kicks off with a two-date residency at cardiff's principality Stadium on July 4th before moving to Manchester for five shows at Heaton Park the band will also headline five nights at Wembley Stadium in London and perform three shows at murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh additionally they are scheduled to visit Ireland for two concerts at croak Park in Dublin in August Oasis has confirmed that their 2025 tour will be the only opport opportunity to see them perform in Europe that year however further announcements regarding additional International dates are expected to be made in the future
