no we were saying we'd love to come to Canada I love your are those all books those are all records but that's a whole another [Music] story thanks change congratulations you're like this you're like traing around in this Lord of the Rings thing let's talk about season two it's like to be back and wandering in new locations what what is it like to be back and how does it feel the second time around feels incredible I mean I've never done a second season of something before so it's like so surreal and amazing to be with um to be reunited and then to also uh work with and act with the most incredible crew and and new cast as well uh so it really was it was a pleasure it was an absolute privilege yeah it was fun it was nice to come back the feelings were high I would say does that make sense there's all kind of were high the feelings tions were high you were high it's the whole thing ex uh where specifically were you this year that you weren't this season that you were not last season like were were were there specific locations you got to go to this time that you have didn't last time you know what I mean English yeah yeah um we went to tene and filmed there for six weeks terrible yeah I know yeah no it was amazing it was like it's just beautiful I don't know if you've ever been but like it just the Landscapes go on for miles and it really I mean to have it is the landscape vun like it really is amazing it just it really plops you in I really do just feel like a tiny little being surrounded by all of this um desert studos and then yeah we worked in the stud two UK Studios yeah right but how did it work like are you guys like in full like Hobbit regalia and then at night you're going to go clubbing like how how does it work when you're actually there on on location I mean that is the best part about fil filming on location is that you can film throughout the day and then yeah you meet some amazing crew that are local to the area and can tell you the best places to go and and we have a good time yeah we have a good time now do you guys have a specific emotional connection to this entire world before you became part of the project were you L the Rings nerds beforehand I I grew up with kind of my family really loved talking and my dad particularly like really wanted me to read the books was always like just like would like put them in my so I was always Weare them and then I watched the films and yeah I really was a big fan big fan of talking beforehand but um but it was nice because being a part of this just gave me a great excuse to go back and and revisit some of the books and the LA now did you read them your father made you read them did you actually read them or I did I did read them no I did read them and I love them but I didn't read the s marilan until um I know no I was just thinking like as a 10 imagine the weirdest thing as 10 year-olds just be like I'm reading this quite an intense book yeah no and and and go on please I was I was introduced to Tolen um on this job actually um I never I wasn't really aware of him and his work so it was actually really amazing to get to sort of know him quite intimately now because I'm obvious sort of being submerged within it which is really I mean incredible and also to be surrounded by people who really know what they're talking about um that's something that's really wonderful and helpful as well if I've ever got any questions I have people I can ask and it's been really wonderful to get to know it alongside my journey on this job the last question on that point obviously this comes with Incredible expectations from people who think they know this story when you're just trying to tell your own story you talk about sort of navigating the pressure of introducing characters that people think they know even though they've never seen before yeah I mean I think for me personally it's just really trying not to focus on the scale of it all or or what people might expect or anticipate because I am really aware of of and I think we all are how how much this means to people how much talking means to people and so really wanting to respect that and and honor that but um also focusing on and telling as truthful story as as possible with the characters we've been gifted so I feel like in that sense um yeah just really trying to not pay too much attention to external noise uh but also respect the law and and what the showrunners have created and the crew yeah and it's been positive so far it's it's been a really quite an amazing journey yeah no it's been really lovely and also you know just had Comic Con in San Diego and having that cycle of you know as actors you know we do our job and we sort of then put it out there and then the fact that we get to then hear about people's responses firsthand is something that's really really special um and yeah we've had such a lovely response and just incredible people supporting us well congratulations come to Canada we'll hang out I know great place I honestly would love to but specifically Toronto it's the whole thing anyway all the best guys enjoy your crazy Marathon day all the
