Intro Spartan Nation what's going on Darian Harris here with Trey Mosley it's going to take you all through the new 65 000 square foot renovation of the football building here at Michigan State's campus and it's going to be a really exciting day for us you ready to go Trey absolutely let's do it right here is going to be a 20 foot tall angle board it's going to be as unique As It Gets In the Country Three trophy cases designated for our national championship trophies six of them by the way being able to see the history and uh continue the Legacy tradition in the elevator game as well so the space we're Gear Lab standing in right now is going to be our gear lab and right here you'll be able to hit the screen right here pull up all the different uniform combinations there'll be actually a QR code that allows you to kind of take a screenshot to your phone of what you decided in terms of your favorite uniform combination of what we got I'm gonna go green helmet white jersey green pants yeah like the green white green offset it yeah that's my favorite then on the Ground Floor ground floor here okay this is what's called Electrify glass so the glass is going to light up illuminate it's gonna be like Iron Man right so you're gonna be have an opportunity to actually virtually suit up all right and really visualize yourself okay as a Michigan State Spartan as a Spartan dog technology nowadays you know it's crazy to see how far we've come Locker Room right now we're standing in what is the beginning part of the brand new locker room older rendition of the building stop right here so this was kind of the end of the weight room kind of remember that but this is all add-on all additional space right here so again we're gaining square footage here with this build and as we move through here okay this is gonna be a brand new recovery pool this is right here it's high level right here no doubt so the Locker Room Space full locker room space okay so 126 lockers total okay 120 for the current guys on the team six selecters for NFL guys coming back in the off season you couldn't even ask for anything more you know the comfortable seating all the space for you to put all your belongings you got the fans to make sure everything's dried off I don't know what Recovery Area else you need all right so we're currently standing in our Sports Science Sports recovery area 5000 square feet to be able to warm up here and then take this beautiful ramp right here which will be turfed out and ready to rock and roll and I'll tell you right now 100 no this is this is oh yeah this ain't no joke right here nah you can already see doing some back pedals up here oh yeah get them hammies right oh no strength and conditioning stuff gonna have a lot of fun with this good luck to y'all the new all right Weight Room almost 16 000 square foot weight room I'm gonna try to spend as much time in here as I can man but just when you hear a number like that like 16 000 square foot of opportunity to build your body up how does that make you feel I'm gonna try to use every square foot of it myself you know thinking Upstairs Downstairs over 20 000 square feet of space dedicated directly to our student athletes bodies and wellness and well-being and making sure they're ready to go for competition Players Lounge Players Lounge is where we come to just Kickback you know might talk about some stuff other than football you know just clear in mind pop a shot or ping pong foosball it'll be six TVs couches there'll be spots for you all to eat all right so that concludes our hard hat tour of brand new football so this is my first hard hat tour so this is that's exciting for me man but Trey I Outro appreciate you joining us on this and helping to take uh our fan base our alumni base obviously our current student-based faculty staff and players along for the ride it was fun you know just being able to see and experience everything you know just all the hard work that everyone's put into it especially you know all the workers who've dedicated so much time and effort into getting this done for us in a timely manner can't wait for this thing to open up real soon absolutely go green go White
