Well, the excitement is at an all time high on the eve of the College of Idaho football season. The oats kick things off tomorrow night at seven, their first night game under the light since the program returned to the NAI A ranks back in 2014. Let's go as the Yos look ahead to the season. They hope will be a success uh as they've had recent success and throughout their other years. Yeah, and they're gonna face a tough test right out the gate. The Oates take on division two opponent, Lincoln University. We actually saw this matchup last season. The Oates took care of things to the tune of a 37 to 7 win. But facing ad two program, you're gonna notice some advantages. Lincoln has at least on paper in terms of depth and size. Still. The oats are all about facing an early challenge. I think that's something that we all kind of just look forward to. We're always looking for competition. We're not shying away from it. We know it's gonna make us better, we know they're gonna challenge us and in the end it's gonna make us a better team. It's a challenge but that, that's what you want in an opener. It's a, it's a great adventure and uh and we got to be on it and I think the guys, when they look at the film they see because they're playing division one schools after us and hanging with Cal Poly, a pretty good F CS program. And, and uh so that's, that's why we did it, you know, it's, it's another game, another home game and, and, uh, gives us a chance to continue to improve, get a lot of guys, a lot of reps.
