[Music] do [Music] if you're falling asleep don't you first have to pretend to fall asleep like you've got to like lay down and close your eyes and be like i'm going to sleep like almost like having a conversation with yourself that you're going to sleep right do you do that i don't think about it that is about it go to sleep you just close your eyes and you're instantly i don't like have a to-do list i need to do that's not what i'm saying what i'm saying is if you're about to go to sleep and you lay down like tonight i go home i lay my head down i'm about to go to sleep i have to close my eyes back all right jake i'm going to sleep now not i just got done working a whole day in the coal mines and now i'm tired i do say if you work hard enough you just go to sleep that's true maybe that's it what happened to counting sheep wasn't that a thing that's part of the process i don't know if i've ever like counted i don't believe it like i'm sleeping straight to sleep like i just i just fall asleep well first of all i don't sleep that much anyway yeah i love sleep i'm one of those guys i love sleeping but i'm really bad at it but i just fall as i just fall asleep this reminds me blaine said the other day he's like yeah i got home around midnight which was perfect because it was like two hours before my bedtime it's like it's ridiculous the nfl makes changes to the playoff overtime rules we discuss whether or not lebron james should call it a year and we each pick a sleeper team to make the college football playoff i'm jake crane and welcome to crane company [Music] [Applause] [Music] see that little dimming light starting to come it's a problem according to sources the nfl is looking at modifying their overtime playoff model during the post season only to give each team a possession many people are dug into either side of the argument either you want to change to the current model which allows the team with the ball first to win the game if they score a touchdown or you don't i've been a proponent of changing the rule for a while now and while i'm glad to see some movement occurring on changing it i questioned why you would only change it for the postseason to me that signals you believe the postseason should be separate from the regular season when it comes to actual rules of the game and that doesn't make any sense the rule should change but it should change for both the regular season and the postseason not one or the other how are teams supposed to prepare for something if they aren't doing it until the postseason starts what other sport i know some people talk about nhl a little bit has different rules for postseason compared to regular season when it comes to overtime where you don't have a shootout the math doesn't add up each team should get a possession and should have to go for two after they score a touchdown if they do score a touchdown a great example of why the rules should change is look at the chiefs and bills from a year ago you could almost call to josh allen rule and not even allowing a team a chance is counterproductive so good on the ni nfl for eyeing the need to adjust but let's just adjust everything together i'm gonna bring in my co-host blayne crane david conair guys i love where the nfl's head's at but just like it seems whether it's the nfl or the ncaa you're staring down the barrel of the right answer but you want to go the furthest way around just doing the most logical thing why would you have a different overtime rule for the regular season as opposed to the postseason because even if you went to the model of you're going from the 25-yard line and in to score a touchdown eventually one team is going to win it's not gonna ping pong back and forth on long drives for each team uh in in the postseason in overtime as opposed to during the regular season why don't we just do all of it the same i agree explain it to me over time in the nfl has been a problem right and they make it a little bit better i mean forgive me for not just coming out with a full congratulations here we could have just completely solved the problem with not that much more effort here's the thing in the nfl regular season there's only 16 games like just go ahead and fix it for that too because every game does matter like it matters to these teams we're not talking about 162 game schedule here they could end in a tie even though i'm of the mindset that no professional sporting event should ever end in a tie hockey baseball anything like that all you're saying to your fan base at that point is we play too many games and they don't really matter so they can just end in a tie this is why i think college football the overtime in college football is so much better than any in the nfl it's basically a microcosm the game gets whittled down to its essence the farther you go in the college game which i really like which is if we haven't figured it out over the course of an entire football game we're each going to start at the 25-yard line and we're gonna figure it out you try and score we'll try and stop you after that if we still haven't figured it out we're gonna start at the two yard line we're going to try and score you try and stop us i like that both teams get a possession it seems like an easy fix well this is good like i understand what y'all are saying if you're gonna do to the playoffs you might as well do it to the regular season yes i know what they did and what they were thinking okay so if you look at the numbers during the season or when it comes to overtime the team who gets the ball first wins 55 percent of the time yep it ticked up a little bit okay in the playoffs the team who gets the ball ball first wins 90 percent of the time um look it up it's 90 look it up and the difference is in the playoffs you play what you play against better what quarterbacks where are you getting that yeah that's that's the difference i heard it multiple times my question well okay seven had 12 7 or 12 games yeah but the team who's gotten the ball first and over in the playoffs you're talking about regardless if they scored a touchdown or not if they got the ball first if they got the ball first won the game okay okay 90 of the time because you play you play against better quarterbacks so what that's what it comes down to and people go back and they always think well it's the bill's bill's chiefs sure the josh allen rule but go a couple years before that all right you remember the patrick mahomes chiefs patriots chiefs patriots game where patrick holmes didn't touch the ball i know and if you're an nfl owner it's just it's so unfair in my opinion the way they had it that's why i'm glad they changed it i mean i believe the head coach is 36 times in a row in overtime the coin flip if you won the coin flip you got the ball first but if you're but okay what what my my question is though okay we can look at the numbers we can do that but if you're saying in the postseason when it matters the most when it's the most prevalent to get everything right this is the best way to do it but during the regular season we're just going to keep doing it i i don't feel like how how do you arrive on two different conclusions either this rule is better and it's it's you could say more fair everything in life isn't fair but how can you say this rule is so good we're going to use it for the postseason but the regular season now we're just going to keep it safe that'd be like if they're like you know what in the in the in the bowl games in the college football playoff we won't kick you out for targeting but during the regular season we'll kick you out of the game for targeting how i i don't i don't get how you mince those two i would would just say the drastic difference in between winning that in the regular season and winning that in the play but how do you get in the playoffs yeah again every game it counts i'm not saying it doesn't and if it was if it was me i would have changed it for the regular season too i'm just saying off the numbers they had the data they had they saw 55 percent and then they saw 90 and if it's a new rule right i could kind of go back to the because the last rule they changed was the past interference rule right or the extra point all right it was or the extra point but pretty sure it's a past interference where you could review it you could review it then you couldn't yeah right right was that only during the playoffs no that was no name one name another rule that only happens during the playoffs the the only thing i could think other than the numbers is they did it because it's a new rule right and you kind of want to test it a little bit before you make it every game and the drastic this is drastic playoffs because the drastic number difference once 90 the other one's 55 percent i mean that's if you won the ball first at the playoffs you're losing that i mean you're winning that game was it josh allen the quarterbacks you have you're winning that game that's why it's 90 and i'm not saying every game doesn't matter but i can see why they just did it for the playoffs see i i can't see because to me it just you muddied up the whole issue like i'm not i'm not understanding why we have to separate the playoffs from the regular season the rule of th and it's not like overtime is some crazy bylaw rule that's like a tiebreaker that doesn't happen yeah five or six games like this is going to happen yeah and to not do it in the regular season when you could be trying to clinch a playoff birthday we can say it's against better quarterbacks but when when you're playing in the playoffs don't go don't go to overtime with teams of bad players does players safety come in they're not regular well i don't think by adding a possession yeah not by adding a possession and well i could be more than a possession honestly getting the ball first isn't only advantageous if you score on the first drive like if you go down and score and then the other team comes back and score you still get the ball first the next time with your better offensive personnel right this is why what i like about college both teams get a possession and then it switches right on the very first one you can elect to be on defense first just so the other team you can get a chance to see if the other team scores or not maybe you could get away with winning with just a field goal i understand that that's advantageous in that scenario but here it doesn't it doesn't flip it just keeps starting yeah and and again that's why i think you should have to go for two after every touchdown okay so like for example two teams are playing they go into overtime i don't care if the if it's the playoffs or the regular season and team a gets the ball first they go down score touchdown gotta go for two they either get it or they don't team b gets the ball they go down and score a touchdown they gotta go for two to me i the odds of you going multiple possessions of people when you're going for two doesn't add to the player safety thing to me but i just will not understand why you would put a rule in place for something as big as overtime just for the playoffs when it matters the most as opposed to doing something different for the regular season because you're telling me that the rules not that good so we're changing but we're going to leave it for the regular seasons which is more games than the playoff in today's modern sports i guess we should just be grateful for small victories what no i'm not i'm not buying anything at the playoffs if you're gonna change it change it for everything what's what's the booster club say blind um we got let me see here river because both teams uh comment from river says but because the reason it's not in the regular season it's in the playoffs because both teams play the next week in the regular season playoff is one and done so it's another player safety yeah but but again you're adding a possession and we're gonna be more than a possession okay well you're adding a couple possessions like is it so it's worth taking away a couple possessions to see what we've seen go down in the overtime and this is coming from the same people that want to add more games to this game yeah like if that's the case get rid of a couple preseason games and let's figure out who actually wins the regular season games if it's about player safety but but again if you're trying to better the sport and better the game and make the rules better to make it i guess more even per se why would you why is that not a blanket uniform rule for everything i don't understand it's like all right hey hey when you're just driving around regular you don't have to wear a seat belt but if you're going to race somebody or you've got to drive fast you better wear a seatbelt it doesn't make sense to me it doesn't add up all right colin houston with a question hashtag ask crane and company now that now that the overtime rules are being changed what nfl rule rules will be the most annoying for players and fans to deal with and how can they be improved what's a catch somebody that's yeah somebody explain to me what it catches the one that bothers me is not being able to touch the receiver after five yards it's ridiculous it's how am i supposed to cover anybody yeah how much does it cover anybody i can't touch you no i can't physically touch you or try and reroute you so okay unless i'm pressing you basically is whatever you wouldn't be allowed to touch them i don't want to you they called it the background and watch the games they touch them just don't hold it this is why i hate coming out here and arguing with two officers a quarterback and a wide receiver about this oh you're not even trying to be biased i'm not but you can't first of all you're literally buying receivers push off a lot all right as a receiver coach which i was taught to push off at the hip i like where this is going keep going hip and nowhere higher because higher you get fully extended and refs are used to calling what when a receiver gets fully extended the push off that's how you get called you push off at the hip it's harder to see it so it's harder to call but a db is also taught for a second even in his route you're gonna grab a little bit oh for sure you're gonna grab a little part of it after five yards they keep doing it now and i'm okay with hand fighting to a certain extent because it's like positioning when you're getting a rebound on basketball all right that's what you're doing when you're hand fighting from a db2 receiver but don't hold the guy don't impede him from jumping or anything like that i do want to because people don't understand the defensive back you're already it's already harder to cover somebody than a receiver is to go catch it on i love where you're going right because keep going because i mean you're reacting your receiver you know what you're getting to do so the db in my opinion other than maybe being an offensive tackle it's the hardest position to play in football good all right but it has to be fair because dbs hold receivers push off it just needs to be called it's like a fouling back so you should be able to touch them after five yards you agree i believe you should be able to put your hand on them not grab them like push them or anything i believe you should be able to you know hold a hip yeah well it's it's amazing to me asking somebody because again if we're saying after a certain amount of yards in that short stretch of yards the five yards i'm not allowed to touch you outside of pressing you or me playing cover two and funneling you back inside to the two by two side to help out the safety if you get two verts that's about all we got in the bag bud outside of me just having the back pedal you know like i got caught by my parents you know in some sort of argument the whole way because these guys are legitimately running four three four four and you're asking me to go backwards without touching people i don't know how you cover somebody that rule should be changed let me ask you this i've never asked you this one actually uh as a defensive guy do you i'm sure that you're not a fan of the continuation on offside so if defense jumps offside the play can continue and i can just throw one if it's intercepted i get five yards if you all fall start we should be able to cream the corner i thought a pic yeah that play as it even it sucks it's a lose lose like well you might as well take advantage of this one and three again it's like okay it'd be like in basketball like okay hey he fouled you dribbling up the court we're gonna let you just walk to this three-point shot in the corner and just take it that's another rule that what rule mirrors that on offense like oh the offensive tackle jump now i get to murder jimmy garoppolo that one and the spot foul i'm passing one rule i'm starting not to like is touching a quarterback's helmet all right hands to the face not really d-line o-line but i've seen rules of god just coming over maybe an awesome oh it's ridiculous in the helmet and it's a pen what are all these have in common they impede what the defense yeah that's the one like conspiracy i can believe in illuminati and all this stuff the conspiracy i believe in is they're out to get defensive people well i wouldn't be so what is what do people want to see in nfl games good defense and overtime rules that stretch in the regular season and postseason touchdown those are the two things they want to see what else from the booster club before you okay jack wagon not a question here but a comment and i enjoy this he says let's stop making pis which is past interference a spot foul once again the college game got it right yeah i don't agree with this why not i think it should be a spot foul because would at the end of the day if you're beat deep okay if you're beat deep there's no chance what can you do okay see this is you completely hold the guy you grab them you don't you rather give up 15 yards then give up a watch so here's my here's my quit here's my question here's my clap back to that okay well will you buy it before you say it oh well i'm clapping back what i'm saying is so if that's the case okay any time where something happens where db is about to pick the ball and an offensive player deliberately messes with him then it should be a turnover it should be a turnover the ball should be given to the defense where that foul was get a good well you see it a lot more than what you would fight out how often if it's a good white house so we're going to believe it hold on we're starting to believe dbs can catch now that's fair too though we're starting okay we're talking about the kitchen we're not talking about stereotypes okay hold on travon digs that then astrovon digs that well travon diggs was a what astrobot yeah and they moved into db and now what he's catching everything you don't see a lot of receivers you receive he can't go outside in the cold because he'll get sick that's how much he's catching i go a step further than spot foul it should just be an automatic touchdown you know in the end you know they have rules didn't they have the [ __ ] here's what it should be nba here's what it should be here's what it should be if we're gonna say that there should be spot fouls and i can close my eyes and underthrow a receiver that's 50 60 yards down the field and then he comes back for the ball and it's pass interference it's a spot foul if there is an inkling that that db's about to pick it off and they interfere with the db it should be a turnover where the foul occurred that's the only way because the way i'm looking at it you can jump off sides like cohn said and just chuck it up and the worst case thing is you get five yards out of it there's no equivalent of that for defense the offensive tackle jumps i don't get to go and pump slam the quarterback or the receiver jumps they don't have to all right you got to run a vertical now i know what you're running it's i i like that when it hurts the team i'm pulling for i completely agree with you yeah well it's a little bit of bias what else playing one more all right um let's go to justin turner what's up john oh man for the dodgers uh yeah that and justin turner a country singer too i digress um hashtag guys if they got rid of overtime in the regular season wouldn't they a help address players safety and b make all regular season games matter you know what would help player safety if we just don't play football games well so my question he said it would help player safety if they change the rule if they got rid of overtime in the regular season wouldn't that a help address player safety and b make all regular seasons okay okay we talk about addressing player safety here's here's my thing you're playing football okay i i get there's things making the helmets better concussion protocol i get that but if we sit here and try and make everything safer we are going to ruin the game of football football is a violent sport football is a violent sport that has multiple possessions in it the games they're four quarters okay the minute we start trying just protecting everybody from a rule standpoint we're gonna change the whole game of football it's different saying well the helmet padding can get better we're learning more about you know uh how to lessen the blow of a hit to the head that's a scientific thing but we're starting to say oh well let's not even do overtime in football then the next thing is let's give them flags and the next thing is let's just turn it into an esport and let him play madden and all that it worries me that we're not realizing some things are just dangerous when you get in the car it's dangerous that's just how it is but you're still going to get your ass in the car and go to work and drive around you want to know why because it beats walking that's what you chose to do these guys chose to play football they chose to do it they know football football's a violent sport they know it's violent whether it's overtime in the first quarter uh the coin flip whatever to me i think we've got to be careful in in trying to to water down the game because we're worried about people getting hurt people will always get hurt in the game of football when grown men put on pads against other grown men throughout the history of the world some violent stuff's about to go down whether it was in in the coliseum whether it was it the costume of all days not the coliseum the new days out at usc it's just part of it and again the same people who are talking about we can't have a longer overtime or the same one saying we need more games in the regular season stop advocating for that or get rid of fewer it doesn't we got to be really careful with player safety when we're talking about a violent game it's just part of the deal they'll be like telling somebody hey man i'm going bear hunting you know and you tell the bear be like hey you know you just take it easy we don't want anybody ever no it's part it's what happens out there is going to happen guys running each other guys get hurt it's part of the deal as part of the game you want to move on county let's do it let's do it we'll talk about lebron james because you two guys were saying that maybe he should just go ahead and shut it down this season it's it's getting to the point with lebron and the lakers she can start to see the beach through the forest a little bit starting we know the playing games that you can hang on but you're about to be trailing the spurs at the end of the week and it's it's going downhill to me i think you've reached a point and i'm as competitive as anybody can be that you've got to blow this lakers team up the way it is you've got to had a chance to re-sign lebron it's not working out with westbrook it's not working out with a.d you've tried the experiment and sometimes the experiment fails and lebron you're what 38 years old having to go full tilt every game just to be fighting to fight to have a chance to fight to make a playing game which you're going to probably lose and if you do get to a series you don't have the weapons to be able to run it up the way that you normally have to me it's time to blow it up it didn't work what did thomas edison say took him a thousand tries to make the light bulb what they say is well you failed he's like no i didn't fail i found 999 ways not to make a light bulb so what are you saying he should not play for the lakers again he should retire i i think one of two things should happen one i'm not saying he should just sit out the rest of the season but him having to go back to back to back to back to back and carry these guys to maybe get into the playoffs to get bounced early they don't have the team to win it they don't have the team to win it it's the truth where anybody watching knows the lakers aren't winning it this westbrook experiment with anthony davis and lebron it's not working so lebron can finish out this year ball do your thing but i don't think he should be going full tilt trying to save a team that is already sinking yo you already hit the iceberg okay you already hit it you're going down now what's the next thing you got to do find a lifeboat help the women and kids out i get it all right but find a light a lifeboat right now the lifeboat to me is you got to get rid of restbrook probably get with anthony davis you can either try and rebuild an la or you can sync up with ronnie young go play for the trailblazers or something here's my thing though lebron james is a ball player so go play ball play as hard no that's i'm not saying don't play as hard as you can what i'm saying is they are having to rely on him to do everything it's like back in his early days in cleveland but there's a lot of teams who aren't going to make the postseason there's that seems that's true championship not everybody can just shut it down whenever you're not going to win that's what i would like to see lebron is to go out there play as hard as you can every night even when you don't win win with grace lose with grace don't quit on your team even though that would be on brand for him i think but my suggestion would just be ball players play ball well blaine i i want to make sure people understand i'm saying i'm not saying lebron should respect i'm not playing for rest of the year that's not what i'm saying what i'm saying is for this to have a chance to have a chance to to lead to a chance you see what i'm saying lebron is going to have to carry the whole thing i'm not saying set out every game but you see his ankle now yeah again he's it's like playing the game of operation sometimes you go in there and you scoop it out and there's no buzzer but lately here it's with lebron when i when i realistically said i thought there's two sides of this all right they're obviously going to be lebron's side and you know the people the media side the outside guys if you were to play in the playoff game and win you know who they have first round they have phoenix goodbye you're not winning goodbye you're not winning i don't care you're not being you have a better chance fighting the actual sorry you're not beating the suns this year beast monsters michael well no he could um lebron has played more minutes in this month than he has for the last eight years that's a lot in his 20s he's hadn't played this many minutes and when i go back and this is from my side of way i look at it when i go back and i've seen a guy the last time i saw a guy who played this many minutes trying to carry a team into the playoffs let me guess did he also play for the lakers you also play for the lakers was kobe bryant and what happened and he tours achilles and it hurt his career late it hurt his career braun with his ankle injury i know lebron not as a competitor i'm a competitive person my myself as a competitor he's not going to give up right he's not and that's what i'm going to say that's not on the year all right he needs to go about this injury the way you go about normal injuries rehab do everything you need to do and i think he's going to do that just from the competitive standpoint that he is but if it's me and i'm if you're a fan of lebron you're 38 years old you're playing way too many minutes time's running out you have to decide whether anthony davis comes back i don't care if anthony davis comes back it doesn't matter you're not winning no if you're a fan of lebron james and he's already came out publicly and says he wants to end it with him playing with his son ronnie somewhere you have to make the decision now whether or not because one load management has to be a real thing okay all right because you can't have a detrimental injury right now that's going to agree with later on when you're playing the amount of minutes right now where you start getting into that to that i'm worried type of space like running the car you're running 40 plus minutes a game but there's a solution between you're having to play every single minute and carry the team in the playoffs or you just don't play the r the rest of yeah that's just i'm saying that then it'll grow out yeah yeah that may lower the lakers chances of winning you know a couple games for the rest rest of the regular season when lebron isn't trying as hard as he can but that's where a coach comes in and says like look i understand this hurts our chances a little bit to beat the grizzlies you know on this road trip but you can't play the entire game i'm sorry yeah well again that's what we're saying but but the question is if you're going to take that middle of the road and blade i don't see who the bruce club says if you're going to take that middle of the road approach i think you start looking if you're lebron am i rebuil i'm at a place in l.a where people will come play obviously the lakers one of the biggest brands in all of sports do you rebuild this and say hey russell westbrook you know we tried for breeze brothers situation we need a fresh start you know we gonna get a good trade for you let you go somewhere else anthony davis hey man thanks for the memories fall out boys fall out boy style uh let's try and send you somewhere else do you rebuild it with the lakers or do you just say i'm going where ever p somebody will take brian yeah i mean look he's good enough at um you know going out and building super teams to help him win that i think that he'll be able to do what do you think compared to michael jordan well you're gonna hear soon enough but yeah i cannot wait it's so disrespectful to have the conversation but look he really is great at building those super teams to help him win having other people he'll be able to do that whether in la or back in cleveland you know michael jordan never won a playoff game without scottie pippen yeah we're gonna get into it you know that that's funny isn't it great i saw i saw lebron take de la dova the sandwich man to the playoffs look blaine's tapping is like look at blaine tapping his legs while he's going wake up waking up it's so funny when we talk about lebron it's so funny when we talk about lebron especially like in the chat stuff the amount of hate for lebron james in the chat is insane in the chat what is the chat saying what what is the chats well i don't want to get no no no no no no don't you take the chat all right let's start with rw trojan lebron will never be yes lebron will never be as good as kobe or mj or even magic he even said kobe and magic oh i love that i can come on the show buddy uh another one lebron is overrated yeah just facts a little bit what facts do you have hold conserve your powder all lebron will always be second to jordan not a question not relevant to the conversation just a fact when your name is sir slam a lot you get it you are an authority on the suburbs it's doctor slam a lot so you come in my house he's got a wife's name right it's christina well i just knighted him all right sir slam a lot let's let's let's move on later a little bit of sleeper college football you want to do that ooh sleeper college football it's never too early for this let's dance let's first of all set the parameters of what a sleeper is okay so somebody not bama or any of the same teams that we've seen in the college football playoff we know it's going to be at four give me a sleeper team outside of the norm maybe even a little bit i want you to go outside of the box walk around the corner find another box get outside of that and then find the next box past that so we're going outside the box i don't want a top 10 team i want a sleeper team that comes out of nowhere that hasn't made the playoffs you're saying has it made the playoffs i'll be a blue blood pressure oh yeah yeah that hasn't made the playoff okay i want to go last county okay i'll go first everything about me wanted to say texas a m because i believe in what they're doing out there okay i'm a big fan of jimbo shout out to our boy billy lucci absolutely but i have to go through the sec west gauntlet and such a big part of this we've seen notre dame get in as the fourth team sometimes without planning a conference so honestly i'm actually going to take a flier right now on the southern california trojans you're going lincoln right now southern california lincoln riley caleb williams why not i mean they do play utah on the road october 15th but they don't have to play organ in the regular season so they could potentially that could be a match up in the big 12 championship but i'm going to pac-12 sorry pac-12 champion but i'm going to take southern cal i think obviously he needs to fix a lot not only on defense but maybe even like we always talk about the cultural things in the locker room i don't know what the current state of the team is i just think he's proven to be able to get teams to the college football playoff he has an unbelievable quarterback with a high ceiling okay a very high ceiling and he's gotten some great recruits in so far why couldn't he make it to the college football player well you're you're in the pac-12 you're in that conference i'm interested to see how landing does it oregon you know there always be somebody sneaky that pops up there but i mean and when i'm looking at that league with lincoln and the transfer portal you know you mentioned caleb having mario williams up front is where i'm waiting to see if they're good enough up front i think they can make a run with the witches they have in lincoln being able you know we talked about with caleb williams bringing the quarterback over that terminology barrier isn't there it makes it easier to learn it's like you know speaking french and going to france like you don't have to to relearn the language you don't need rosetta stone you are rosetta stone so you're helping other people learn as well like that pick who do you got blaine you know i really really dove deep you know really analytics old dominion science math equestrian no i'm taking equestrian the fighting dan lennings you're going over y'all are both pac-12 give me always of access you know i go back and i you watch oregon from last year you know mario cristobal and his group were phenomenal recruiters all right they were dan laney the crew he brought in are also phenomenal recruiters but i think dan laney is a schematical wizard right thank you um on the defensive side of the ball and you go back to the organ you know utah game what did utah do pound pound but we're going to run it down your throat i think that changes with dan lanning just the culture the attitude especially on the defensive side of the ball that's going to be harder to do against the dan lanning team i think and then you go to the offensive side of the ball i thought they had they have great good players at oregon and then bo nick's coming in and yeah good players at oregon on not just one side of the ball on both sides of all they have talented players i mean you lost one it's going to be a top 10 pick in the draft this year at the end i think beau knicks can fix a lot of problems for them on the offensive side of the ball experienced guy scc guy anthony brown struggled to sell it live yeah anthony brown was not a great passer of the ball and bo knicks i wouldn't say he's a leak passer the ball but he's a good throw over the ball it's an upgrade and you know he's been through a lot he's he has experience i just think they somewhat have the makeup to make a run in the pac-12 because i think dan laney's going to change the defensive side of the ball make him more aggressive go get guys not waiting to catch people but go get people and that's how you beat it like a utah team because in my opinion utah right now is the best team mm-hmm in the back pac-12 on offense and defense and special teams yeah and and i'm gonna get to mine in a second but i i'm looking at to get out of the pac-12 you're almost gonna have to go undefeated because you're looking at two sec teams that are getting in and and ohio state's probably getting it you don't think oregon can get in with one loss against georgia week one i was thinking if it's against georgia week one and you run the table and georgia does you know has another big time of year yes that game actually helps you regardless of my opinion but you can't it's one loss or none or if you don't play a team like georgia i think if you're usc i think you damn gonna have to run on the table i think after the table but my team i'm gonna take us down to the coast fellas but not the coach you're talking about with usc who went home this offseason oh this week in oregon crystal ball mario cristobal miami it's been a while it's been a while to quote stain the you the brand we all know the brand that wants to be able to fight the muck pahokee get mario cristobal in there a guy that understands the trenches like he was a world war one soldier he understands the trench is better than anybody they've done a hell of a job recruiting hell of a job through the portal tyler van dyke returns 3 000 yards passing 25 touchdowns some some questions that receiver and linebacker but i think they've they've got some young guys that have a chance to make that move you're in the acc clemson had somewhat of a down year there's some questions there at qb is there a time for a changing of the guard florida state michael brothers still some questions you can get through the acc mario cristobal going back home to miami everybody's pissed off in the program but pissed off for greatness i think mario has the ability to go in there year one and run through it two questions where do they play clemson do you know this year i want to say they play them at home and two do you think the same point remains that you said about the pac-12 yes miami need to go unbeaten i think they do but but if you have one loss we've seen we've seen clemson lose to like pittsburgh and get in before okay you could say that maybe recency bias with clemson and how well they've done but i think if miami if they have one loss and they beat clemson they have that big win we'll have a chance to get in now we've seen chaos a little bit at the end who's the last team that gets in but i'm telling you guys right now miami is sneaky sneaky they're at clemson they're at good november 19th good what a great day to go down there too rub the rocks ooh they also yeah who they got earlier at texas a m good thank you at texas a m good this build character what was that build character no that's actually week three week three okay good three seconds so get it for the 17th they go to that you're gonna know we're gonna know early fellas we're gonna know early because if they go and beat a m and then they go and it gets weird with clemson at clemson i'm telling you guys watch out for my and they're at georgia tech while i'm shaking in my space that's a definite help yeah thank god they don't know but shout out to our boy jeff collins yeah shout out jeffy college all right if you want to watch or listen to the rest of
