oil click on this comment and go and take a stroll through that comment section so y'all can see the context and see what I'm talking about now I'm not saying that this is something that's going to happen overnight obviously there's going to have to be a study done even with the relaxers that lawsuit that was a 10year study but I feel like there is enough people and all we need to do is make a little bit more noise so what I'm going to need y'all to do is that anybody and everybody who has had some type of experience with losing hair or getting scalp irritation from using myel Organics I need you to get in the comment sections and tag myel Organics if there are any Tik Tok lawyers or any law firms that come across this on your fyp if you can provide any insight for the people please jump in the comments section I'm going to need y'all to share repost comment like engage with this post so that we can push it out to more people these comments are wild y'all need to go take a look hello and thank you for joining me here on inquisitive tv.com I'm lady Carla so today I wanted to read this article to you uh regarding male hair products and then I'll give you my opinion so according to Daily Dot uh.com something is not right expert issues warning against M Organics and it's viral Rosemary and mint oil so that is the title of this article a beauty expert has gone viral after sharing the purported dangers of mayale Rosemary and mint oil the product initially went viral in 2022 with black beauty influencers crediting the $10 oil for helping to stimulate hair growth but after 2 years something seems to have changed the clip which hamaz um 3.8 view million views starts with a Tik tocker claiming that Mel Rosemary and mint oil caus her hair to lose CA her to lose hair as she showed a clump of hair to the camera in response the licensed cosmetologist Laura uh stitched the video to share her thoughts in the clip she calls out the founder Monique Rodriguez for selling out for purportedly letting Proctor and Gamble a white owned business take over meal Organics the amount of people who have reached out to me personally either in the DM are in the comment sections that have said they use meal products experience ha scalp irritations or massive hair loss or hair breakage it's insane she said there is no other reason for this except that when she sold out Proctor and Gamble this is what the product says allegedly they changed the formula so I have to say allegedly uh the comment section was full of users with similar experiences I thought it was just me one wrote adding that the oil proposedly made her hair brittle I'm telling you my hair started falling out in a statement via Instagram Direct message Laura added for me it's about accountability if you have a brand where people are suffering from the same condition from your hair products speak to the consumers because we were supporting you show empathy by releasing a statement or addressing the allegations but to this is the an issue and to just sit back and say nothing oh yeah we're going to expose you Mel didn't immediately respond to the Daily Dot request for a comment via Tik Tok comment Mel has been in the subject of discourse before so problem started to arise after Caucasian Beauty influencer Alex Earl made a viral Tik Tok featuring the product this is because according to the cut more and more white women started to purchase the product which is described on his website as being exclusively for Black people's hair types so um I'm going to leave the link and you can go ahead and tell me how you feel now I just started to um invest in this line of product and at my local beauty store and I haven't I'm just going to tell you the truth this is the past 3 months so I don't know when the company was sold but I just found out about it and just to let you know I haven't been experiencing any side effects any negative side effects or um losing any hair so far I've bought the shampoo conditioner um I must say in my experience I guess it's according to the hair types but in my experience my personal experience is that it made my hair feel so refreshed after using it and I've used the shampoo and conditioner probably about five times now since I bought it you know I just bought the shampoo but I've been using the oil for about 3 months okay the oil has done nothing negative sometimes I feel stimulation but so far and I use it quite often and it's made my hair feel very good so I am sorry for the ones who have lost their hair I'm just now finding out about the feud between allegedly I'm going to say between Michelle Rodriguez husband and another YouTube influencer um because he was allegedly angry that she was stating her you know just giving her opinion about the hair product I thought was positive because it it this was like about four years ago and so I did research because I heard that there was a feud which I knew nothing about I never I've seen the product on Pinterest but never thought when I saw the product I never thought that I'd use it because I saw white women advertising so one day when I went to the beauty store my local Beauty Store um I said I'm going to try it because it's here and this is majority of the products in the local Beauty Supply Store are from black companies so I said I'm going to give it a try and so far I haven't had any negative effects um it's made my hair stronger I must say um and I haven't I haven't felt anything negative so it seems like this product has been out for a while and I did research on YouTube and this has been going on for about five years I never knew anything about the founder Michelle Rodriguez I never knew anything about the feud before alleged Feud before they sold the company and I think that she made a big mistake her and her husband because that's what I hate to say it but this is the truth that's what a lot of black people do who are successful when they get a company they sell out not all but a lot of them and then they change the formula they change the whoever takes it over and a lot of times times is white people they change the formula well that's not good for everybody's hair because as you can see there has been a lot of complaints okay so there's a um you know a part one and part two video uh it says surviving male Organics the downfall and um you uh can go check that out I just happened to see it by uh too much tea influencer and there's a lot of negative reviews but then there's a lot of people that say that it's it's still okay uh one mother I saw on her video she was doing brushing her daughter's hair uh which was down to her shoulders and um she said it works just fine for her and that was a recent video so um but then there's a lot of angry black women saying that the formula has changed now I'm not going to try the pomegranate and honey I was going to but since they're having so many complaints I'm just going to stick with the rosemary oil because it's been working out for me and I haven't had any issues I'm not going to stop buying it um but if there is an Ever issue of course I am I'm going to stop but the problem is I'm going to tell you the only thing that makes me angry is that soon as some successful black people I don't care if it's a restaurant I don't care if it's their home the reason why I say that is because the Bay Area is where I'm from and a lot of them sold their homes to go down and live um buy a cheaper home in the Central Valley because somebody offered it to them the de developers allegedly offered to buy their homes because they wanted to be able to sell their homes for more so a lot of the black homeowners in that area they sold out some of them were renters so they had to go down to somewhere in like the uh Central Valley to live in a cheaper area Okay so this goes along with anything successful down through the years that has to do with our people they always sell out they always sell out and I'm still going to speak out about this although meel Organics has um done nothing it hasn't done anything negative to my hair and I'm a black woman but I'm going to speak out because I don't like the fact that um you know the husband and wife uh sold their company when you're successful so what you had a few do could they that be I'm just asking you could that be why this uh black couple the successful black couple sold out it just doesn't make any sense you let me get my hands on some ingredients and be successful I would never I would never sell out I would never sell out but a lot of black our people a lot of black people do they end up they end up selling out because once they they offered I don't know if this is why but a lot of times when they're offered a lot of money say for example $3 million which would which would be hard to pass up you know if we saw the the check or $5 million they sell out and of course the formula is going to change so I say to you be very careful because a lot of these companies which are black on they sell out they sell out and I uh am afraid what is going to happen in the long run I really think that Michelle uh the founder I do apologize I don't know her last name oh yeah Rodriguez Michelle Rodriguez she and her husband ought to think about buying the company back because it's just um something that has offended a lot of Black customers doing something like this for whatever reason yes I um think that they should publicly do a YouTube video or something come out to the Press give your apologies of what's going on with a lot of these black women's hair falling out in clumps because you have offended them you left the company that you founded and their hair is falling out because of the people who allegedly took over and allegedly changed the formula so I'm just letting you know um so far it hasn't it hasn't messed with my hair but there are a lot of black women that have been using and buying meal are Organics products and their hair is falling out you know I think black people once you get a successful business you should never sell out you should never sell out for no amount of money even if it's somebody may say well if it's 10 or 20 million you don't know what they were paid you don't know what they were paid but somebody may say I take it if it was me well of course we would because that's no change I mean of course we think about it but when you think about it in the long run somebody's going to take over your company you know somebody's going to take over your company and change the formulas just like KFC some years ago when the founder was living Colonel Sanders you know and the mashed potatoes and gravy he even got sued after he sold the company because they changed the gravy he said the gravy wasn't the saying so they sued him for saying that and he founded the company but you sold it you sold it and the mashed potatoes and gravy it does taste different than when I was a girl I can say that the chicken is all right but you know things always change when you sell out and he was a white man you know so this is sad this is sad because in this day and age we need for our people to stay in business you see a lot of whites and other races and they start their companies and you know a lot of them they keep their companies they don't sell out they'll pass it down to somebody their kids or their grandkids in the family and they keep on look at Walmart look at how successful they are I don't like a lot of things I'm not going to get into that but look at how their family is still carrying on the comp company that um Mr Sam or whatever his name is look at how they're carrying on after all these years because of efficiency you can find anything in Walmart so back to me y Organics I come out and say something apologize because a lot of black women particularly they believed in you they believed in you and you know you sold the company and they said that their hair is falling out because the formula changed so I want to leave you with this I encourage um black women my black sisters I encourage you particularly come out with your own hair product and don't sell out that's what I say come out with your own hair product and don't sell out because if you do you see you will see what could happen you're going to get a lot of angry customers because the formula could very well change when you put other people over it now I will say that okay so choice is up to you you can either try the product and risk it or you could just um just say forget this I'm going to start my own product and I will be successful and remember this story remember uh the story of Michelle Rodriguez and her husband leaving and I think that they decided in my opinion these are all alleged statements remember I think they decided after that Feud happened between the YouTube influencer and her husband allegedly I think that's when they had decided to sell the company I think uh looking at the time span but I could be wrong so you know I just wanted to leave you with that I'm lady Carla I thank you for joining me here on inquisitive menv.com and I'll talk to you next time God bless [Music] why
