[Music] this was really sexy yeah feels lovely texture all of the judges were blown away by the wonderful finish of the new Caesarstone concretely running in Georgia I think the judges were totally on point weren't they this concrete top is amazing I can't stop touch it's actually a really new product rugged concrete from see the story and we when we designed our kitchen we really wanted that raw concrete vibe and then we wanted to contrast it we'd like the soft sheers and the linens of the couch and I just we are obsessed with it that's look at the positive feedback we get from everyone that matches it and sees it is amazing so really happy with that choice and again look at the proportions of this here it's another continent beautiful absolutely beautiful but I'm loving the surfaces this rugged concrete and this light concrete which looks so beautiful but it's only used in a minimal way we decided to go for a very modern contemporary sleek kitchen clean lines you know what we found that at freedom it was just absolutely our brief was was matched you've got the black lighting in the dining the black arriving in the lounge even the black fireplace and then it ties in with cooktop rising with this amazing sink chairs you know it's it's the cut through that a gray so Darren Palmer said that the matte black was the one thing that really made the kitchen pop I love that Darren said that because it was really intentional to make you know use the super matte black to make it pop and we created zones and it was all about sectioning areas off to make those overheads they're sort of blend in and then make that really pop and also we wanted the sort of wanted the appliances to blend into the joinery as well you know it's seamless and it flows together really beautifully the benchtop going all the way across here you see you're cooking in the island we know overhead what about your control center here hmm how cool is this thing beautiful so the centerpiece of your beautiful concrete Caesarstone benchtop is this sexy appliance and this one here is actually an induction downdraft cooktop and it's only like one of a kind there's not many of these in Australia at the moment and what it actually does is allows you to combine two appliances into one so you don't have to have this big bulky range hood it actually sucks all the steam down here the best bit about it is when you turn it on the noises that it makes and check out how strong this fan is but the fans are automatic so it actually senses how much it needs to stock away which is cool it's pretty powerful he's very powerful and one of the coolest things how do you clean it this button thank you that's amazing this is very very cool so Sarah this is definitely the hero piece of this kitchen so this is a super amazing kitchen command center absolutely what we've got here is again the upgraded appliance package so we've got a coffee machine a convictional oven which is also is a microwave your standard oven and then you've also got your steam oven sorry I mean if you're cooking for a big family you've got lots of cook space here or dinner parties or whatever it may be you've got plenty of you know oven space and the coolest thing about this is the slide and hide so you go like that and the door completely hides in there and it's just a really great mechanism that actually really works sometimes you know these sort of gimmick like things don't really work but this is so smooth and amazing you look like a kitchen superhero so good yeah and I guess what that does it just makes you know getting in the oven so much easier if you're walking past or you need to clean you need cool food out it's all about functionality and I think the best kitchens are the kids that are actually really functional what Darrin was loving was the size of the kitchen sink the kitchen that is exceptional families Darrin was right you could feed a Labrador in here if you absolutely could this thing is huge but I think again in a family home it's really important to have you know a big functional sink to wash all your pots and children's dishes so this sink in here is awesome it's like a ray of Thunder you can see why we got mesmerised at freedom I mean look at it it certainly is a little feature piece in this scullery like the kid in gym expected to be there but then you're like oh I love that and Sara I hear you ask where's the fridge yeah nothing better than an integrated fridge again really practical for a family and then behind here obviously we have our pantry so lots of shelves in there and there's down here again all your soft closing finishes which is you know that's a really great sized pantry as well it's massive and I really love the little hidey nook around here too and what's this here is that more storage oh very dishwashers so tell me about the design process it was actually working with freedom was really amazing they've got some really great experts there who really know what they're talking about and for us we've always we love form and we love function but expect I think especially with a kitchen it needs to be really workable and really print like user friendly and they really understood the layout of a kitchen and how to get that flow rise in the kitchen it's just a knockout yeah I think there's a lot here for a buyer to get very very excited that's you so everybody in Georgia you get it on all the time yeah yeah yeah any argument oh look there might have been a slight walk out on this but the reality is its national this is the heart of the home and it had to be right but we had a very clear vision of what we wanted and you know I just don't sometimes I don't know how to express my emotions and I just have to walk out for a little bit basically you have a little town to you I have a tattoo there we go you kids are made up as always the way we renovate is we argue during the day but at night time we always kiss each other and
