what's going on there guys we back with another one and today we got to discuss some things that's going on over there at ESPN as some of Stephen A Smith's colleagues are reportedly mad at him after the addition of Jason mccordi and one of the big names that was just let go from the network RG3 is mad at both ESPN and Stephen A Smith as he was let go and what is described or what was described to him is more budget cuts we've seen other top names getting laid off or Let Go by ESPN some sent home finishing out their contract some who are free to go sign in other places and RG3 is one who was demoted and not too long after that he was let go and so this is what they saying it said uh he is still getting over this firing at ESPN and it has been a very frustrating time for him as he really got caught by surprise but what happened with Jason mccordi being hired by ESPN made him Furious as it comes at a time where the group has been saying that they fired some people including him to cut cost it doesn't make any sense he is working on his next steps but when the news about mccordi broke he was in shock really disappointed and surprised that ESPN made a move to recruit someone new in this context and what context are we talking about someone to cover the game of football somewhere RG3 feels like you know he's an expert in and he has some on air experience and never really got that first tech opportunity feeling like Stephen A had the power to throw him a bone if he wanted to but didn't but really didn't and um this leads me to believe Stephen A Smith's contract negotiations that's going on right now um where he's expected to become the highest paid Talent on air um around 20 25 million that they gonna work something out because they're meeting his demands and they are putting together the team that he wants and this also leads me to believe that he's lining up a show where um Jason mccordi who's going to be on twice a week they're going to uh clap back at the facility a little bit AO has been sending inadvertent shots online saying he's not competing with first take but at the same time in in the time slot and saying we are going to have discussion less debate pretty much saying debate is played out this is the new formula and Stephen A Smith is still going to debate but he's going to have Shannon sharp Jason McCord have a few guys on there who have you know the same experience over there AO show while Stephen A Smith is able to be an Entertainer and interet the these guys are able to give in-depth takes and so Stephen A is currently making 12 million right now Troy Aman's making 18 million right now and we going to see how this plays out but RG3 man is reportedly not happy with ESPN at all because he feels like he was lied to feel like this is even a position that he could have filled but when the network kind of went sour on him and they put what's the name in his place what was my man's name was it Kel was it Jason Kel that took his position um now Cy doing the the um first take thing getting good money to come in and do it and this is another thing mord is going to keep his position at CBS covering football as well so uh that's all I got for the today guys let me know in the comment section what you think don't forget to like share and subscribe till next time peace
