Long Overdue Grocery Trip & Shop With Me || Under My Budget for August !! + Fast Grocery Day Dinner

[Applause] [Music] Oh Lordy Mercy it is brought hello everybody so it has been a good two weeks since we've been grocery shopping we need to desperately so let's go I have not spent a lot of money on groceries this month so my budget envelopes for August are still pretty full whatever is left over after today will go into September's budget is that pumpkin shaped noodles [Music] I really like the small [Music] curs yes let's do some butter I think we're completely out of butter but we do have [Music] ghee par me pepperoni let's go Colin you might have to get out of that soon I told you Rider's current addiction and Dusty is obsessed with this it's very strange he says it helps the circulation is it true is it you know for fact it does it does change his his feet do look better by the way y'all this is like an everything grocery haul like brought of everything I'm taking from almost every envelope to shop today oh look it's fancy why is there Green Oh with lime flavor ew I don't ew Dusty said what makes this Italian it's from their mountains that's why oh so here's the deal y'all I'm trying to stop my Dr Peppers and I heard that if you do sparkling water and black cherry Meo it's like the same thing so we're going try that sparkling water is so expensive where's the Topo Chico I don't even know if it's going to be good so I'm getting a small package is it sparkling oh it is sp yeah that's sparkling I wanted Topo Chico but I can't find it going to make some nachos this week I'm upset at the price of these these used to be $2.78 need to reup on the honey we're about out oh my gosh that it's so sticky last package of Honey weed it was my lucky day I'm going to make Dusty one of his favorite things ever boom girlfriend need to re oh that's opened need to re up on these two babies garlic powder and onion powder what even what even Dusty you need to try these out for your channel oh my gosh what even that's expensive but yeah it's dehydrated $1000 Colin said it's $1,000 is that patties no it's dehydrated so it bulks up I don't know one of Braden and Rider's favorite snacks is lemon pepper to the packets oh ly I should probably get four more I mean what a perfect snack for a growing Kid full of protein but yeah let's get the boys some of their seaweed it's 84 cents heck yeah is this just my kids that have like the weirdest taste for snacks tuna seaweed they really have that than anything they would they would rather have that than any kind of sweet they're so odd I mean I'm I'm loving it but is it odd I don't know want you go ahead and try that Dusty think he could do it yeah oh they wouldn't sell it at Walmart if it was something outrageous you don't know that yes I do we got a clearance we got a clearance I'm going get a couple of these to put in the pain tree it's cheaper than the Walmart brand I'm going gosh to see if we have Topo Chico we have the mineral I I can't say it minaga you know what I forgot to get the black cherry moo go ahead 248 for just four got to satisfy Dusty's chili craving is if you've been wondering how good are these they're very good and they're actually real chicken holy cow got 29 for that we do smoke some RS with [Music] we you can make us some pulled pork this week this is just on so 13 bucks the big old thing that is pretty big never mind on that clearance that is a good price for that okay there was two but this one has lost its vacuum seal I said the same lame at least I found one cheap one though so that's good so I don't see any black oh wait there it is energy is it energy yeah got caffeine in it's zero sugar let's let's try it I'm getting the Great Value brand I hope it's the same go good grief is s so this is what a buggy looks like like at Walmart this is coming out of the grocery budget the snack budget and the household budget mhm that's weird sin o bun thank you kylin all right it's time for Engles go Bless America I love rarb oh my I get that rebarb 20's over Z Starbucks water I'm so [Music] thirsty a good [Music] you T slices 298 244 let's do [Music] it the crock pot meal with it this is the price now holy smokes five New York strip steaks for $14 that doesn't sound cheap that is cheap as heck for five New York strip [Music] steaks I still get pissed off paying over 99 cents a pound for Hamburg somebody's living in$ 199.99 over here it shouldn't be no more than 99 pound not getting it but cheap I'm not going to get it I can't do that it'll have to do I have some in the freezer but I need fresh meat for tonight I have always heard if it looks blown up like this it's gone bad I don't know if that's St but I'm not going to risk that I can do [Music] that I've been sitting here thirsting to death while I've been walking through angles I forgot I had a whole [Music] water mom brain today is full force [Music] Brayden has a small addiction to orange juice small that is very conservative he could over those on orange juice if possible he could so quick all right see what the damage is okay we're back now let me explain how I do my budgeting um I have separate categories for each thing now if it is not necessary to meal it is in the snack budget because snacks to me are unnecessary some weeks we might not be able to afford any snacks so a snack budget is separate from our grocery budget drinks come out of the snack budget anything besides water is a treat so it comes out of that snack budget so today I was working with my household budget grocery budget and snack budget so now that explained how I did my budget to I'm going to show you our grocery haul first this is my Walmart grocery haul the total was $165.8 so over here I got two packages of the these are so good even if you're not on a low carb diet these are so good the mission zero net carbs tortillas they are awesome so I got two packs of these the last take a honey wheat bread sweet Hawaiian rolls and here I got some sausage 18 count we have some crle cut french fries but dropped it real good chicken breast chunks and another flavor and these are so good y'all they're so good and it doesn't have any ick on the chicken and I got some real good chicken nuggets for the kiddos we needed butter in the house got two packs of butter some vanilla yogurt cottage cheese I wanted to try this to see if it was any good so it's the protein yogurt just one little package of that whipped cream cheese sour cream and here we have some sugar snap peas love these things an English cucumber real bacon pieces heavy whipping cream we got some mini sweet peppers the kids eat these like apples it's a nice little side for lunches love it some strawberries strawberries aren't in the snack budget this week because we will be making some yogurt parfait for breakfast if anybody wants breakfast this week sweet potatoes some carrots asparagus some half and half mix it has the baby spinach lettuce and baby greens also have some oser Salon mix um this big bag of On the Border tortilla chips we're going to have nachos one day this week salami and pepperonis this is for like a little homemade lunchable for lunch we have some ham from the deli a little bottle of Italian dressing onion powder garlic powder two cans of this sauce I'm going to make Dusty some chili cuz he requested it and Dusty got that ghost pepper soup um mild chili mix and Street taco seasoning mix I've never tried that before so we're going test that out a head of lettuce two cans of chili beans um we needed some more honey I found this on sale it's a good press for all this chicken Dusty is going to smoke a pork butt this week on his smoker it's pretty good price cheapest I've seen in a long time got Ryder and Bren a couple packets of seaweed now normally this will go in the snack budget too but they've been eating this for lunch with like rice and tuna that's why the tuna is in the grocery budget cuz it's probably going to be their lunches this week cuz oh no they're obsessed with some lemon pepper tuna y'all so this is what I got at Wally World out of the grocery budget which was $165.8 now I'm going to show you what I got at Engles can't forget a gallon of milk this is included in the $165 a gallon of milk somebody put it in the fridge before I can film it here's my angles haul my total was $438 I got some Engles deli chicken salad if you've never tried this oh my Lord of Mercy it's so good got some croissants to go with that mozzarella cheese sharp cheddar cheese some of the Boron American melts is perfect for GR cheeses I wanted to cheat this week so I got some of the Main Street Mash ters but these are on sale these are $3.98 I want to say for this which it's usually like 5.98 so I I did that that's have a hamburger burger meat some what is this this is little cuts of pork tenderloin I got two packages of that and here I got some chicken breast some marked down bacon and two Tomatoes my grocery total was $296 I am way under budget for August I had $360 left in my grocery budget this month and this is the last week in August and I'm still under budget so I'm feeling good about it now what I do each month if I have money left over from my grocery budget I just leave it in there and let it roll over to the next month and I just let it keep adding I add the same amount of money in there every month unless things are really tight but for the most part it just stays in there and rolls over like and it really helps if prices go up even more I'll have something to fall back on with that extra rolling over so whatever has left at the end of this month for my grocery budget it's going to stand there till September and go into September's this is my Engles snack haul go I know it's the odd guys a lot of people don't understand why I separated it and I swear I separate it because it's easier to handle that way I know what we can afford that week if we can't afford snacks we're not getting snacks ever since we visited why owe me Dusty's been obsessed with Huckleberry and this is the only Huckleberry thing we can find here so he got this here uh till Muk Huckleberry ice cream got Braden's favorite orange juice my rubarb and some of these apples they're pre-peeled and they were on clearance my total here was $17.45 this was $6.98 a little more pricey than what I would pick but Dusty was with me today grocery shopping and and he spent that that wasn't me but it's okay because it was budgeted for and it was in the budget all right besties here's my little snack ha for Wally World my total was $42 and 42 we got a big watermelon um pineapple gelatin dessert mix crushed pineapple and want to make Dusty one of his favorites one of his favorite desserts out of this um kiwi for Max this week my Italian spring water or sparkling water and the the mo that comes out of the snake budget because this is something extra this isn't a necessity um Dusty and his beak juice that he's obsessed with got the boys some Huckleberry um I think it's the nectar water and some Peach kylin loves this stuff it has little chunks of Alo Vera in it grape juice cranberry pomegranate juice some of these har snaps and colum picked out these the totis these are so sticking good too but they're so salty col loves them that's my Walmart snacky haul my snack total for Eng Les and this Walmart is $60 I only have $12 left in my snack budget for the month of August but it's okay this was all planned for we're good and just like the grocery budg the snack budget is just going to roll over to next month and I'll have that much to work with extra next month unless things are tight and I can't put as much in it household budget that I worked with today only thing we needed was trash bags I have 20 bucks in there and this was around 5.98 I think so I still have more than half of it left it's going to roll over to next month too let's go ahead and make some dinner for tonight colum requested cheese burgers so I'm going to make burgers but we're not going to use buns I'm going cook them on these tortillas and for the side we're going to do french fries I'll probably use 75% of these fries this bag all of us aren't going to have fries on the side I want some sugar snap peas because I think they're awesome in ranch I'm addicted lately this is how I'm going to do it I'm going to put a little bit on each side because each side of the tortillas is going to have Burger on it and both of them together will equal one patty going put the hamburger all around I want to season these up with this honey garlic that sweet barbecue rub I love this stuff it's so good going put a little bit on everything boom want to let these cook on this side with the meat down until it's almost completely cooked then we're going to flip them so this can get crispy and cook a little bit of the other side I can fit all of them on here barely but I did boom F them babies they shrunk a little but it's okay it's okay not ready don't not ready nice oh yeah look at that I made 12 of these and I'm supposed to make 10 so somebody's going to be getting the extra I didn't mean to do that but cheese I got out five slices of cheese and I was like wait a minute then I seen I had two extra oops one side plain one side cheese Colin only wants cheese on his so this is Kaka boom we're going to be doing these Big Mac style I have some lettuce chopped up I got some of that secret sauce out and I am currently reconstituting some minced dried onion um to reconstitute this it's supposed to be one part onion two parts water and here's dinner tonight we got Big Mac Style with french fries oh yeah there we go dinner and here's mine I wanted some sugar snack peas with ranch instead of fries there we go here's dinner okay Burber how we feeling about dinner that's really good thanks holy crap okay rer how we feeling about that dinner so good so good how you feel about dinner good better than buns hey baby how's dinner tonight I don't know let's find now okay oh he's out he passed out oh goodness is it good well I hope you guys enjoyed this video now remember when I grocery shopped for this this is going to last a few weeks at least I'm going to pair it with things I already have in my cabinet my freezer and things like that to make meals out of and I wanted to show you a little bit on how we budget groceries and snacks and the household goods I know it's not really a common thing for people to separate like that but I just feel like it helps me better if I don't separate my snacks and my groceries I couldn't really differentiate how much I could afford you know so it really helps me be able to see how much I can afford and lately we have been stuffing our envelopes once a month instead of a few times a month so I have it for the entire month and I'm under budget for the month of August so I'm feeling really good about that I hope you guys enjoy this video and also if you try that recipe with the hamburgers
