Might have to dodge a few showers this year though, not as heavy as what we saw yesterday, but that could be a little bit of light rain here or there. Here are your rain totals from yesterday. Very heavy rain as hurricane Francine moved through totals up to six inches in parts of the mid south and eastern Arkansas. Very heavy rain right here in the Memphis Metro. These are your estimated rain totals near Bartlett, some spots, almost seven inches of rain, other parts of the Memphis Metro, 5 to 7 inches that did lead to a little bit of flooding in some spots. And of course, the wind gusts were high too as expected. Wind gusts 4050 almost 60 miles an hour in Memphis. So no surprise, we had so many power outages. Still several 1000 mlgw customers waking up in the dark this morning. Now, the remnants of Francine, what's left of that storm over Arkansas? The storm is gonna continue to bring us light rain for the next few days. Again, it's not gonna be as heavy as what we saw yesterday and it won't last all day, but we are seeing some more light showers move into Memphis right now. Parts of West Tennessee also seeing some quick light showers and that's possible today it's not gonna rain the entire day long. There will be some dry periods but light showers possible off and on today. High near 72 same story tonight, a little bit of light rain, not out of the question. And then we'll keep the same forecast for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday highs near 80. I know it's a big weekend with Cooper Young and the Southern Heritage Classic. I do think a good chunk of the weekend will still be dry. It is not gonna be pouring rain all weekend, but there will be times where we see some really light rain showers pick up. I don't think it'll be heavy enough to affect Cooper Young fest. I don't think it'll be heavy enough to stop the game Saturday night, but it could be a little bit annoying to deal with that light rain. So bring a poncho, an umbrella, whatever you can just in case you do see some light showers this weekend again though, it will not rain all weekend long next week actually shapes up pretty dry. We'll have some more sunshine come out by Tuesday and Wednesday temperatures climb with that sunshine back to the mid eighties next week.
