year against port adlay broken collarbone so they end up putting Riley holder into the rck who we know is probably undersized a little bit but had a terrific game some of his follow-up work I know some of his contest post so coming up against really what has been one of the Premier rck wi particularly the last three years in Kieran STW it should be a great Midfield battle in there today yeah called the game in round one when Adela played down at South and it was the exact same story in the first half they were dominated in the Midfield South were all over them early and atad actually end up coming back and winning that game by five points but it was in the third quarter when their Midfield really got to work and started winning the 40 out gaining territory and getting it in deep forward they won't want it to last that long today they need a response now early in this first turn because the bay are dominating them at the moment throughout the middleberg into the bar he won it prominent for The Bays 275 goals in his career I know we got out um out pointed then but I love that match up curtain and MCB I think it's excellent we know as you touched on John a pick eight last year in the draft I know a lot of the Crow's backline hopes would be resting on curtain what a good experience for him against a really established Premier key forward and Le MCB just outside 50 which line but it's there Jos starts the second the way he started the first with a goal and the bay skip out to a game high 37o lead a minute 40 gone in this second quarter and that forward line again proving damaging for the Tigers early days in this second turn but good work by Stretch to the way he really won that ball well in the middle and set things up for the tiges not what Mick goam would have wanted to see in the first two minutes Johnny probably held him in a little bit longer at the break I'm sure there would have been a little bit of uh word said by I think I feel like there would have been a really challenge laid down to his Midfield as we said Strawn so much experience particularly at the SLE level as well ped's in there at the moment he's had AFL experience shenberg as well there's got to be a real onus on some of these crows mids to really start driving their team forward shenberg there versus snook nice match up Strawn won it down I think just as Taylor thought he was players at the moment every time they look up they have an option to give the hand ball to they have the option to drive their legs keep it off adela's intent and pressure is just really lacking at the tackle of Martini to get the turnover there and give adelade a chance to go forward and give those key forwards an option that's exactly what the crows would want to see that they need to deliver more of that they're going to be able to put the pressure on and get some forward momentum some forward territory that was good stuff from Tyler seems Sun sometimes in footy just those contests that seem not really that big a deal they can mean so much at times and that meant the Crow's first goal I think as straw rucking and Roven got it inside 50 Karan tries to pinch it from himber the big man comes up with it he's tackled he's going to got to have to go for that cuz he just sort of placed it on the ground he didn't get rid of it so Bailey will get the free and LEL looking to clear through it in long you can really isolate and get one-on ones which is what the adelay key forwards need fairly unobtrusive type tius goes about his work but does it nicely has had some good touches today for premier three key forwards in the comp and they work so well in this gleno forward line we were ideally hoping to probably say something a little bit different from the crow but really every quarter has started the same glenell have just put on a mountain of pressure and uh adela's backs were actually holding up a right to Han a nice marks and intercept but you can just see when they try and rebound it out Glen set up so well behind the footy they turn it over every time and just keep those repeats and you can only hold on for so long weight of numbers will get you every time it's been the story today for the Tigers as J Bo gets it towards half forward nice Mark by Burgess KCK two goals to this end in the second term himberg up couldn't complete it maybe off the ground no not going to happen with Smithson again who kicked a nice goal today too although got the opposite end of the ground behind to The Bays margin to 76 proud looking to get things going getting in the way there where the goals are he's proven that in his time as a top up player with the crows in his 17th game today he's kicked 20 goals in his s NFL career as they break again from the middle through Peddler to see the initial uh 2 minutes it was all Bas but then they really started to mount a bit of pressure get a couple of stoppages and you never know what can create from those opportunities and as you said John darling he's been reasonable today in the middle for Adelaide and a nice finish there as well for goal as you said they're third in a row we've gone almost 8 minutes in this final quarter and the crows have kicked three goals one to Adelaide one stra AR Glenelg one straight should I say as big bodies crashing in the middle someone's boots come loose straw got the hand ball away down to Peddler Peddler's kick inside 50 nice kick nice lead from Murray and the 2011 CM Murray will go back confidently with the ball in hand Toby Murray hasn't kick the goal today four games in the first two for Adelaide the start the season provided a reasonable Target today the ball just hasn't gone down there a lot and when it has the Tigers Defenders have been all over it [Applause] confidently back and line up for goal number six for his personal tally 12 1 half gone fourth quarter and McBean has played a beauty he has hasn't he John and glenell just there really well done by them they wrestled it back we said thatl had really got a person momentum there they kick those three goals that pressed and couldn't quite get their fourth but we just see the Glen backs they started to steady up a little bit and then that ideal ball movement that was seen a number of times shift it throughout Matty Allen takes his time to lower his eyes and McBain he's been so prominent today up forward for the bay he given them such a Target all game so the skipper missed last week with injury back in with a Vengeance today for his sixth just drifts it away for behind and the crows to bring it back in now through Ryan there's a soccer ball or something down there on the field everyone sort of playing round it Ryan over the top here to Edwards it's now booted un ceremoniously that little ball reasonable Target when it's gone up there but it's gone up there so few and far between apart from this last quarter and him will will go back and line up for his second feel like kitki has been really solid in defense St John but it just shows the uh prominence really of himberg when he's up 4 can get those one-on ones but as you touched on he just hasn't had the opportunity that he probably would have liked today out of give Adela that Target all the time going forward from 50 himberg makes it look so easy as he Nails his second four in this quarter now to Adelaide 4 to one they've put a touch of respectability on the nice electronic scoreboard here at strama Stadium as they bring the margin back to 51 points 15 gone last quarter but it really has been a day to celebrate for the Tigers as they bounce back into the Winner's Circle that be glad to bounce back as well John cuz we said last week they went down by 24 points to nor who we know probably in an anomaly last year nor they had the Premiership year then they bounced back and had those eight losses in a row but they look like a real team to beat this year so I think it would be a good conf confidence booster for Darren Reves in the Glen footy Club to see them delivering against as we said that the crows are not all AFL listed but they've got some really strong players in and competition today and they've been really dominant throughout this match four goals three to Adela in this last turn one goal one to The Bays secondary ball up as Jay B goes towards Taylor Burgess out there the 221s Karan as well Burgess got a hand to it in the process just sort of edged Ken out of the contest good followup though a nice tackle there from kitki was out marked a moment ago by himberg but that was nice play from the young man and now ker with it at half back go down the line on that outter Wing stra couldn't quite take it bell comes through always looks ready to go Bell when he grabs the foot he no fumbling no fiddling just bouncing away kicking towards Snoop he couldn't take it under pressure crows intercept the hand ball to Hana to J bo back here from stra to danelli and now adelite looking to clear through the middle some run from Zack Taylor little chip kick and ped's got it well within range can he make it five goals to one in this final quarter pedler I back him from here he's a very capable kick John we know that long raking left foot as Taylor comes from the ground I've liked his game today for the crows I think he's given them a little bit of difference he's got some real pace and even just there the Poise in the presence of M to lower his eyes to pedler not Blaze away I feel like Taylor's been a player who's really held his own today out there yeah he has his he's had his moments that's for sure Zack Taylor 17 gone fourth quarter pedler lining up for his first the fifth for the crows in this turn looks pretty nice he's bed it through bedy gets his first of the afternoon Adelaide 5-1 now in their favor in this final term just said jacking a spot on very fine player Luke pedler and a very fine shot on goal It's been a last quarter from the cros we said each quarter they really hadn't started well glenell could been the first scorers in all four but theyve really taken ascendency for the majority of this I know that the contest is probably over and it's Out Of Reach but um it's been nice to see adlay bring something a little bit more contest and a little bit more drive going forward as well for the bezo really they've been so dominant for the uh the first three quarters I'd want to make sure that they keep this respectable in this last quarter they don't wanted to blow out too far and get adelay too many um too many goals too much back in it because I've been so good today I completely agree the thing was at one stage early on this quter they led by 78 points I think it was 77 78 points the Tigers now five goals to one in the term and it's been cut back to still a healthy lead no doubt about that of 45 but what was looking like a big percentage booster is now going to be more like a a strong win unless they can kick a couple to build it up again but here go the crows Jay Bo To Oi wonderful pass and nice Mark by Burgess he pops it over the top what's he going offer himberg down there with gold off hands nicely crumbed snap on goal I think it was Smithson again it was he's kicked three very nicely crumbed goals today Smithson all in the second half and I just get the feeling the Bay fans getting get Tad frustrated here six goals to one now against them in this final Tom with three and the crows just getting some late goals frustrating the tiger faithful there are a few murmur you can definitely hear John as you said they've really piled it on this quarter but Smithson what a goal out of out of midair really he's had three really nice finishes he work off the rman uh the to get it the clect from the front square and then that pack it out the air and through the Big Sticks but the Bay will be looking for a response here in this next 10 minutes as we said the crows they're really piling on the goals they're putting on the pressure at the moment they're looking like the better team in this quarter minute 20 into this fourth quarter LEL gled by 77 it's now been cut down six goals to one in this turn it's been cut down to just 39 points and here go the crows again there gladel suddenly the ones Under Siege danielli gets onto the left boot look at the young man from Broadview do Gallagher was up Martini thumped for the line and and color happy to rush it over 38 points now the lead as the crows continue to fight on in this final ter as it's going to be brought back into play for the Tigers a high long kick proud sandwich between a couple stag front cender with the crows will win it there through Smithson back inside 50 Bol pushed knocked on by Gallagher and the Free's been paid here against WHMIS so it'll come to the Tigers and Bell tied kick from he and it's gone out of bounds on the for the crows to go again imagine a little uncertain now just kicks it long and strong inside 50 Allen was up couldn't take it hitsy just bangs it on the boot looking to clear the Zone Reynolds down at half back now takes the mark happy to waste a few seconds into time on now in this final quarter he goes short and finds proud some experience here John just looking to stem some of that bleeding Reynolds even proud now just trying to take a bit of timeout finds Reynolds again they think some of the senior players have obviously know the experience this that you know ad really with a run on at the moment they want to try and kill this game off and not let them get too many more on the scoreboard Lovelock happy to see it over 22 A2 gone in this fourth quarter ball in the right forward pocket for The Bays they lead by 38 feels like their contestant intensi just picked up in the last 5 minutes or so John what had held him in such good stead for the first three quarters they dropped off when crows really got that surgence and they seem like they just bringing a bit more of that pressure bit more heat around the contest getting it now their forward half six goals to one the crows have kicked in this term and without doubt I think the Bays you can say have taken the foot off the pedal to an extent but prob just left it off a little too long as the Crow's taking some control as surely that's going to be high on color that surely had to be high on Reed CER but it's been paid holding the ball and Edwards will take it I should I say Taylor and he finds Ryan on the outer Wing base fans needless to say not over the moon with that call as the kick inside 50 from Ryan bounced off the chest of pedler Adelaide will go again through oi barrels pass his intended target down there of Smithson umpire's whistle is gone it's going to come back here and a free to Sharon deep in defense Allen to rush some valuable yards and gain some more with his kick Chandler had a couple of goes but took a nice grab it's the bay struggling to of get things going now Bell with it and now stretch still on last quarter they faded a little bit the bay but pled a like for Darren re as we said last year's Premier Glen they want to be building strong start to the season for the crows they're obviously going to go to one and two now and they're going to need a bit of work to get back in this but as we said they've really got some strong players in that when they get it going together like they have a bit in this fourth they can really show something tahana was caught there at his defensive 50 and ping Lions who had or has had should I say a very good game will take the kick he's taking his time his side by 38 and they led by as much as 77 a minute into this final turn but it's been well and truly cut back with a six goal one quarter from the crowers Lions kick nice distance on it adelade all
