swing States the real elections happening in here in bris Vegas I have been so nervous I've hardly slept I am at a pu in Brisbane that I'm told has opened early for some Americans who want to watch the debate I was wondering if there are any Americans here this was literally at 11:00 a.m. on a Wednesday in Australia so I didn't like my chances as I stand corrected there are about a dozen Americans here there are some people who are working remotely to the left of me there's a couple that have just moved from California who will be sending a post or vote in for the first time and the organ who I was looking for Lisa Lombardi she's been coming to this PB for 20 years for debates as part of the Democrats abroad group these guys said yes we have a big TV we have CNN we're happy to put it on for you that was like in 2004 I know Republicans overseas were also trying to get a similar gathering together in Sydney the thing is overseas Americans can actually make a really big difference Arizona was won over by 10,000 votes last time and there was something like 18,000 overseas ballots that were sent back for that state many of these voters haven't lived in the US for decades but are still so engaged
