Pre-Order for Yasuke Game are EMBARRASSINGLY Low | Assassin's Creed Shadows | Ubisoft Stock | Outlaw

rumor has it that yasuke is not doing so well and based on some estimations about pre-orders and some actual reporting on the ground I would say there's a good reason for yasuke not to feel very well oh and also Ubisoft isn't doing very well and they really need this game to work so let's talk more on that game play hi friends it's me CC here with the one and only man of Mischief it's Stone Cold Loki how you doing Loi doing great doing great ready for another trash Fire coming out of Ubisoft I can't wait we've got our matches we got our fuel we're ready to go what do we got culture well we've got something that I think we all saw coming but I think based on this reporting it might be far worse than we thought because John over at that Park Place got us a story with a rumor now this is a couple days old but nobody has uh challenged it as of yet that I've seen and a assin Creed Shadows say pre-orders less than 800 units from a national chain with over 900 stores I don't know if you can do the math on that Loki but it looks like they're selling less than one copy per store less than one copy store that means that a 100 of their stores either didn't get copies or any store that got maybe two half of them didn't who knows well and again these are just pre-orders so I don't know or maybe they can only guarantee one you know copy per store I have no clue but if that's all the numbers I mean you would think there'd be more pre-orders available but this is a national retail chain so this rumor is coming from our our friend over that uh stuttering Craig uh Craig uh skus uh who owns and host the side scrollers podcast and he wrote on X my Insider told me as of this morning at their Nationwide big box chain Assassin's Creed Shadows has less than 800 pre-orders combined whoa for Xbox and PS 5 holy cow that's bad that is so very bad no yeah and and of course you know he does the math quickly as well saying that's less than one pre-ordered per store um this is posted out there on X I don't think there was any push back to this I didn't see any when I was checking that's crazy sauce right there is no hype for this game um I guess the Star Wars Outlaws uh at 27 stores that another that he'd heard about they've only been 41 pre-orders of that and let me tell you uh Loki and I did a video on that and we've also found that it's selling significant Millions less than they expected you're you're actually going to want to go and check out that video right up there and find that out cuz it does this is painting a very Bleak picture Loki for Ubisoft wouldn't you say oh yeah they're already in trouble from last year they were down last year I think half a billion dollars they can't afford to have another year like that uh they need to they need to do something I expect even more layoffs more Cuts uh more closures and uh I it's going to be very interesting what happens to Ubisoft over the next couple of years because they have led this this Dei push and this nonsense and haven't had the greatest set of releases for any of their games in a long time uh the rainbow six is not doing well a lot of the game cells they've come out with haven't done well compared to the previous titles and as we heard the other day in the uh Financial meeting they had they kept talking about leveraging their Ubisoft engine to give players the best experience possible I don't think that's happening no no especially if you see the likes of uh Star Wars Outlaws but again that's in another video and again right up there now um look it's he wrote uh I have Insider who works for high traffic game stores in one of the most popul populated places in the US 27 stores 41 pre-orders for Star Wars Outlaws that is going to go very badly indeed and nobody seems to be very interested in that one but on the PlayStation Store the base game for Star Wars Outlaws is currently listed in the sixth position for pre-orders six what wasn't wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago we had what was it was it Concord in the sixth position Concord was in the sixth position we now name we now know what position Sony sends games to to die on PS5 yeah that's really that's actually saying something because at this point we know that it looks like less than 25,000 copies of of um of that game actually exist in the world I mean like that people have bought I mean maybe it's more as of today but as of yesterday or day before it was literally about 25,000 copies and ask me how we know we actually know because of the collected trophies because you well you always get a first kill trophy um oh and and with Concord and again with Concord that was less than you know the the number of people that owned the game that's not good and that's coming straight out of PlayStation you have um you know you combine that data with steam less than 25,000 people it's insane anyway you're right this is definitely the spot to Die In Assassin's Creed Shadows Ultimate Edition which costs $130 also holy cow dude uh sits in the 22nd 22nd game's about to release here in the next what two months culture and it's in the 22nd spot wow wow so it looks like Outlaws is in the sixth position for bestselling titles behind black myth Wukong which is in first well duh and uh fortnite well that's free uh Call of Duty uh which is always you know in the top five EA EA Sports Madden 25 well duh uh and EA Sports college football 25 also duh you know it's like I don't know Lok key this is like look at this ding ding ding ding this like this is like what you expect you don't expect Star Wars Outlaws in sixth place which we we really can't expect there to be a lot of great sales here now all this comes in the wake of the investor which we've talked about in previous videos expressing concern regarding the sales for Star Wars Outlaws as well as um Assassin's Creed Shadows during ubisoft's most recent sales report uh that sales report Ubisoft noted that it expects to have net bookings in its second quarter come in around 500 million euro when it releases Star Wars Outlaws for comparison the company's net bookings for the first quarter clocked in at €290 million euro when it released X defiant oh by the way we've got another video coming up here shortly talking about that game already dying which is insane so apparently Barclay's Nick Dempsey is the one that asked the question that that Loki is frequently talking about uh with the low prediction in a Q&A session during the company sales call he asked when I look at the guidance for Q2 and if I assume something similar for the back catalog in Q2 as q1 kind of getting close to 200 to 230 million euro that's that sort of range for the new release of Star Wars Outlaws when I look at the $70 price and then assuming what you might get from it I'm getting around 5 million units this is something that you're definitely going to want to check out on our previous video uh earlier this week because I think Loki will agree this guy has a magic eightball when it comes to predicting what the sales are going to be but he says first of all where could I be going wrong with that thinking and secondly are you just being pretty conservative in your guidance because I guess given the interest in that game we might have thought it would sell more than 5 million units Loki I don't think it's going to sell more than five million units in the first quarter what about you nope I think the people that have this game are the ones that bought it there's nobody else that are interested they've had time they've seen the deal who's going to play this who to get to play it now whether or not people play it when it goes free or when they get a subscription ion or when it goes to Xbox Live or Ps now that is a totally different ball game but for right now I don't think those numbers are going out up at all and I think they're going to have to make a g a deal with Xbox or Playstation to have some kind of revenue for having it on their streaming service I guarantee you this game is coming to streaming services quickly I think you're probably right and what's really funny is it's not here in this article but the uh the folks over at Ubisoft they walked past this question pretty quickly and didn't really answer it they were channeling their inner Iger from Disney but uh if you look at this next one he went on to question the potential for Assassin's Creed Shadows this is also going to be a kick in the uh teeth for them when I look at the second half clearly I think we're going to need a heavy contribution from Assassin's Creed but could it be those revenues would in fact be boosted by multiple hundreds of millions in Partnership deals that kind of range uh to get us over the line This Guy's questioning everything right yes yeah and it's it's crazy so the Ubisoft CEO Ives gimon uh responded to the first question saying we can't comment on the very numbers you're quoting of course not but what we have factored in is a strong launch for Star Wars Outlaws that reflects the fact that it is among the most awaited games of the industry this year and really strong positive Community sentiment that's a lot of smoke um and also the fact that we are coming with the biggest marketing campaign ever so far for an Ubisoft game so that's what we've been factoring in the second quarter Loki have you been overwhelmed with Star Wars Outlaws advertising anywhere oh yeah oh yeah it's kind of everywhere when you go on the internet right now uh they are pushing it and they're using content creators to push it they're using ads on uh old school television to push it on streaming services go on on your your Amazon or your peacock or whatever I bet you you will get a commercial for Star Wars Outlaws right now but I don't think it's doing them any good well hopefully you saw a commercial for Star Wars Outlaw here on the channel since we uh we would love to have that monetization money anyway so as far as the other question he said as as we mentioned we expect Shadows to be the most ambitious title of the series that's not an answer to the question that is that is that is CEO speak for uh we made some ambitious moves with this game going completely full narrative you know Dei mode uh that's what he's saying uh we also anticipate the Star Wars uh that is usually a very strong brand around Christmas should do very well with the busy season with a strong impact also from in audible content from both games um probably monetization stuff like skins and garbage that people spend their money on for no reason uh and we also expect further growth from Rainbow 6 Siege as well as strong impact From Shadows on the back catalog of the Assassin's Creed plus the contribution of X defiant which is dying so here's the problem Ubisoft has it has a fan base that's walking away from their games and the production style Loki can you give them any or the audience any hope when it comes to any of this not for Ubisoft I think right now one of the main reasons why they're still in business is you've got second third generation Gamers that grew up watching good Ubisoft games that are playing these games once they realize that this is full of what it is full of that they have gone off script they've gone off Mission they've decided to give you all of this BS to deal with in their video games and people are just sick and tired of it don't want to play it anymore once they realize they have that and um the the terrible updates patches performances of these games I think they're going to walk away I mean they have the money to throw out as many advertisements as they can to hire content creators to push their games to go through different magazines and and gaming journalists if you can call them that that that they pay for their review scores I think they know that The Jig Is up and it's just how long can we survive still I don't think they're I don't think they're going to change I really don't I think this will be one of those companies that goes down in history and as um we're not going to do what you want and they're going to find out that when you don't do what the player wants the player doesn't pick you up and play again yeah yeah I think you're right from greatness to Brokenness in just a few years and it's a real shame because Ubisoft was one of those wonderful Studios that a had locations everywhere so that they could really do a good job on producing games and giv locations and B uh they really could deliver and evolve they stopped evolving I I would say almost 8 to 10 years ago and that's really really caused them some problems especially since instead of evolving they leaned into the agenda driven garbage that really all the gamers now are rejecting I mean you don't have to look too far to see a a game that's sold over 10 million copies in three days I think you know what I'm referring to Loki oh yeah oh yeah we just we had we all had a chance to play it the other day and it's a great game yeah black myth woong folks is the game we're referring to anyway let us know your thoughts in
