was violently uh pulled out of his car detained handcuffed thrown to the ground uh by some racist um Miami D police officers and these officers had their uh their knee in the young man's back and this could have turned deadly if it had not been for tyre's agent coming on the scene not only is he as agent but he also happens to be an attorney at law and now the Miami date Police Department they're attempting to cover up what happened they're trying to lie about it they don't want to release the forfeited footage of the video and to make a long story short it doesn't matter whether whether his seat belt was on or off whether he was speeding above the uh expected speed limit what they did was downright criminal what they did was unlawful and illegal I said it last night on uh Tyrone Bowman live and I'll say it now if those have been white NFL s on the order of Tom Brady Drew uh drew the former uh quarterback for the Saints if that had been uh Aaron roders or any other white NFL star those same racist cops down to Miami they would not have done that to them you know it and I know it they were attempting to intimidate fear Into the Heart of a black man it's called police terrorism unrestrained here here in America it's out of control these Governors have given these police officers unlimited immunity the prosecutors are on their side the judges are on their side the courts are on their side no matter what an innocent person says or does they're deemed to be found guilty these officers lie they fabricate they cheat they steal they do all types of things to try to justify the things that they do and you know what gets me everybody is so excited about the police until it happens to you when it happens to you or someone in your family or some friends of yours then it takes a sudden turn for reform and accountability as long as doesn't happen to you or to your children or come into your nice beautiful Gat Community you don't care about what happens to someone else recently been better you know yesterday was one one of the most frustrating days of my 37 years as an agent Stephen as an agent you never dream you're gonna get a call like I did from my client John new Smith on the Dolphins who calls me frantically saying true you gotta get to the stadium right away the cops are beating on Tyreek they're traing him they're hitting him they on the ground in handcuffs I was like John are you kidding me is this some kind of joke how's this possible and uh I rushed to the stadium I immediately called the Dolphins and notified them in their security so they can go help out and i' get there Tyre Stillen handcuffs it was just mindboggling I I spent quite a bit of time talking to Tyreek he said Drew I I give you my word I didn't do anything to deser that they uh apparently stopped him in rout to entering the stadium to play the game about two hours and maybe 20 minutes before game time they gave him a ticket for reckless driving and uh the video is just uh it's apping this this is Tyreek Hill I mean any human being should be treated this way for um a traffic incident they they put him in handcuffs they had him on the ground they had their knee on him he just trying to go to work I mean he's literally outside Stadium you can see him in the background there in the video and what are they doing to him I mean he wasn't fighting back but by no means did he resist this is completely abusive unnecessary scary it was one of the low points of of my my career to see a client treated this way at his own stadium now you said one of your clients J who called you and told you that they were beating him they were kicking him whatever once you got there and he was still in Cubs first of all what did you specifically see once you arrive Interruption once you arrive well once I got there uh dolphin's head of security Drew Brooks was there as well and they took the Cuffs off uh approxim the same time that I arrived at that point I was just uh working with Tyreek to just settle him down he was so upset with the way they treated him he was so Disturbed that you know his family would would be exposed to seeing him treated this way uh you know his teammates Kus Campbell and John new Smith were both there the police were giving them a hard time both of those players were very upset very distraught told me they they thought the force was excessive it's just a sad situation to see an individual forget that tyre's a player but anybody just for giv a citation for moving violation who's clearly a threat or fighting B to be treated that way it's just mindboggling and if I could just say yeah Tyreek is obviously he's obviously driving a sports car he's obviously black they were white officers I mean it's just really sad in to see this type of treatment I don't know that they know whether he was Tyre or not but but some awareness that he's trying to get to the game and work Drew let me ask you this question you're you know you've been obviously you're a very influential very powerful agent you've been in the World of Sports for so many years like you said 37 years in couny crying out loud I would ask you this you've also been based down there you were smart enough to be based down there there a no state income tax state down there you've been smart enough to be down there all of these years you're obviously a very influential individual when you showed up did you say anything specifically to the offices did they say anything to you I was really focused on Tyreek I I said to the officers inv what's going on here you know and initially they were very rude to me as well initially didn't want to let me get to Tyreek I said look I'm tyre's agent I'm a lawyer as well you're not gonna stop me it was just a shocking scenario to see our client treated in this capacity with that being said where you where do you go from here because I I know they say there's an investigation going on but they did Issue a statement saying that they felt Tyreek Hill was uncooperative but one of the officers has been resigned to death Duty I guess to death duty all they do is what's your Rec from this point well I trust Tyreek he said he wasn't uncooperative but uh even if he even if he was uh explaining that he was trying to get to the game trying to get into the stadium explaining who he was that doesn't lend itself to put a guy Cs and put him on the ground and hit and put their knee on his back and Tyreek said they put him in a choke at one point I mean he wasn't resisting at all obviously the citation was just for driving it is Do We Go From Here going to investigate we're trying to get theage from the body cams Tyreek what he says is gold as far as I'm concerned with the way he was treated but we'll document everything we'll get the evidence and if it's warranted we'll take legal action we want to make sure this doesn't happen anymore we want to make sure that not only is uh you know the people involved here from the police standpoint that was treated by client that they're punished that they're disciplined for this and and hopefully this sets an example that this type of conduct will not be tolerated uh not just towards professional athletes but anybody that doesn't deserve this there should be no abuse of police power Tyreek said to the police look I I love police officers one day I would would love to be involved with law enforcement but the way you guys treated me was not right and was out of hand and he uh he was just so upset Stephen we were trying to settle him down and obviously he did C down and what he did was some preceded I've never seen a professional athlete from being arrested to playing in a game scoring a touchdown and a brilliant one as it was I mean just you got to give Tyreek a lot of credit obviously he uh made light of the situation with the cration with the Handcuff gesture but it was certainly no a laughing matter by any means and I had dinner with Tyreek last night with his family and they were still trying to process this and and his attorneys are going to take whatever action they can to make sure that these people involved here these police officers um you know are are held accountable and will not be able to do this again to anyone else under these circumstances it certainly didn't warrant that type of physical uh treatment last question to you how supportive are the Miami Dolphins not of him I know they're supportive of Tyreek Hill but on you and Tyreek Hill potentially pursuing further action in the light of what transpired what are the Dolphins position on that well I thought they couldn't have been any more supportive of Tyreek they were uh obviously very upset in my interactions from the owner Steven Ross to the general manager Chris Greer obviously I spent time with them uh they reached out to me yesterday and said that I talked to the team president Tom garfinkle he said he was gonna do everything within his power to pursue this on behalf of Tyreek uh the Dolphins reached out to me and said there was an internal affairs that was taking place that they were going to help us with that so I take my hat off to the Dolphins the NFL players Association reached out to me countless players coaches General maners from other teams were really upset seeing the way that Tyreek was treated there's no place for this in our society and uh and obviously I was encouraged to to do everything I can to help Tyreek and straighten this situation out for the future and I will Rosen one of the best in the business good seeing you my man and there's no place in this Society for this type of Conduct in the year 2024 and this is the main reason why you all need to get out you need to vote you need to make sure that Trump does not get back into the White House because he will surely turn this into a military Nation Never Surrender never quit
